Like many others on here, I have never written a negative review and if I could give zero stars Heartland Vet Supplies would get noneOrdered meds for my dog days before they would run outDuring ordering process I was upsold a flea collar that I was told was safe for childrenFast forward weeks, the meds arrived three weeks after order and the label on the collar packaging says "not safe for children, wash hands immediately, do not allow pets to sleep in bed with humans" So, when I call them to return they tell me I have to pay for return shipping as well as a 10% restocking feeHUH? Spoke to supervisor who said they would waive the restocking fee if I pay shipping so I agreedAfter returning the collar they wait a week to credit and guess what?10% restocking fee deductedImmediate dispute with *** after they refuse to honor their word and do the right thingSo many other places with low prices to order from, just avoid these guys completelyZERO STARS

I called the company regarding placing an order for lactated ringers because the photo of the fluids bag on their website was fuzzy and was not clear enough to make out the "brand." I spoke with "Stacy" who placed the order for me by telephoneI clearly told her I wanted to purchase the "***" brand of lactated ringers and told her I was concerned about making sure that what they had on their website was what I was inquiring about (due to the photo being unclear)I expressed my concerns about giving my cat, who I've been treating for cancer, anything different from what I've always purchased from my vetShe told me it was the sameI was NOT told by that rep at the time I placed the order that I would receive a different brand other than what I requestedAlso, at the time I placed my order, I was never told by that rep that I would not be able to return my orderIt wasn't until I received the order and called them to inform them that it was not what I had ordered by telephone, that they told me I could not return the orderThey stated that I was "informed by multiple management members that we cannot guarantee that brands will match photographs shown." That statement is not trueThe ONLY reason I spoke to multiple people was because I called them after receiving the order and I was transferred multiple times! And they never mentioned anything about "manufactures varying or brands not matching the photographs on their website." As well, the label ingredients on the actual fluid bags I received vary from what their website lists for the label ingredientsThe fact that they are selling products on their website that don't specify the brand name, and more importantly, that are not made in the United States, is questionable and substandardAnd how they have handled the issue of sending me a different brand from what I requested on my telephone order has been a blatant display of poor customer serviceBuying this product from their company has been FAR from helpful or easy as their website statesI was transferred times to people who were uncooperative and oblivious as to why I was callingThe sales manager, Mike, was very rude, their staff was NOT knowledgeable about the product I inquired about, and their company is definitely not a "safe source" for buying Rx drugsMy experience with HVS has been beyond disappointing and extremely regrettableI told them I wanted to return the product for a full refundThey refuse to refund me or to hold themselves accountable, and have displayed horrible customer serviceEven if they refuse to do the right thing and reimburse me, I will make sure other customers are alerted of their unacceptable customer service and shady way of conducting business

The website is deceivingIt indicates 3-days DLIEVERY time
Second time I place an order and they do not shipTheir website is deceiving, indicating under shipping options that there is either overnight or 3-business days deliveryBut after 5-days the items still have not shipped and when I called to complain I was told the shipping time alone is 3-days, from whenever they decide to shipHowever, the website indicates items available and 3-days delivery timeI end up being stuck with constant overnight fees, and in fact had to pay for overnight shipping and get my item in more than a week

I ordered on their website and have yet to receive the item, and do not have any way of contacting them
I ordered a medication an over the counter dental product *** After almost a month of waiting for it to arrive, I logged back into the system and see it has not even been shipped I emailed the contact and have not gotten a response I called four times and have only gotten a busy signal and no connection or even a voicemail

Can't seem to ship product This place needs to go bankrupt, do everyone else a favor

Had a most wonderful experience with Danielle todayWas having trouble getting a medication and she went above and beyond and was so nice and sweetShe definitely made me a customer for life

I submitted an online order with Heartland over the weekend and received confirmation they received the order on Monday, 3/12/at 10:AM, also a pending charge of $*** for the prescriptions on my credit card On the morning of 3/14/I reviewed my order and it indicated not shipped I then emailed Heartland at 7:AM and received an automated response saying I would receive a response within hours On the morning of 3/15/at approximately 9:AM I had not received a response so I called Person I spoke with said they received my order and one of the meds was not in stock and someone should've called to tell me I advised her to cancel my order and I would purchase the meds from my vet Very disappointing first experience with Heartland and I'm not sure if I will attempt to order from them again

Heartland Vet Supply charged my credit card for amounts that I did NOT authorizeThey refused to adhere to their own guarantee of price matching

Absolutely the worst customer serviceOrdered about months ago and they never shipped my item yet charged meThey provided a refundThey had a good deal for black Friday and I figured to give them a second shot since mistakes do happen and three weeks later my medication hasn't been shipped With the explanation that they sent a fax even though I didn't provide a fax and my vet doesn't even have a faxI explained this and was told hr till I received notificationIts been days

I'm in a situation where my youngest legged` son "Ollie" suffers from allergies where he's constantly scratchingThis to the point where blotches of skin are beginning to appear
Ollie's Vet had placed him on a mg dosage of *** twice a day, for the past several yearswhich proved to be a tremendous help in relieving his scratching
As all good things must come to an end, Ollie's meds were no exceptionThe price of *** had soared out of controlSpending nearly $***/month for Ollie's meds, proved to be a bit much
Having done a little research, I've come across The Heartland Veterinary Supply and Pharmacy...***, where I spoke to an angel on earth, Mintha
Mintha through her professionalism took the time to first listen to my situation, then break down the steps needed to secure the much-needed medsit get's better!
Mintha then went on to explain, the VET was the only person who could authorize the scriptAddressing my concerns about being in a position of a " cash-cow" to the Vet's monthly revenues, he's certainly not going to approve Ollie's script
Mintha listened patiently as I went off on my tangentShe then took some information and asked if she could place me on holdA few minutes later, Mintha had advised me that the fax was sent to the Vet's office, and received for pending approval
Approx hours later, Mintha had phoned announcing the script was not only approved but going out in that day's mail
Mintha it's your business how you were able to accomplish all that transpired, on this end, I can't thank you enough.....and stand by my word of buying you the biggest steak in town.......provided Ollie can have the bone

I'm pretty disappointed with my purchase thus far from this businessYes, the prices are greatBut, it has now taken more than half a dozen calls just to get the prescription in and verifiedAfter my vet hadn't heard anything from Heartland days after I placed my order, I called them and was assured it was being faxed to my vet then and thereNext day, still nothingI called again and was promised it was being sent over that momentMy vet had to make multiple calls just to get the script rightI know for certain it was all corrected and verified days ago and yet my order still isn't shippedAfter hearing and seeing my vet verify the prescription, they're claiming that they still haven't received itI know, for a fact, that they did submit it and speak with reps from the company After a total of weeks and getting nowhere, I've had no choice but to ask them to cancel the order all togetherIt's been a complete waste of time and now I'll have to fill the prescription elsewhere and pay for expedited shippingFor most online orders, I really wouldn't mindBut this is medicationPromptness and organization are vitalIt's very apparent to both myself and my vet that there's a major lack of organization and communication hereIt's a shameIf you're just getting supplements or general supplies they might be just fineBut, if you need actual medication, don't count on getting it any time soon

I have not received the item I ordered on *** I have not been billed but I apparently cannot get the order in their system
I ordered an injectible medication for my horse and the appropriate syringes I received the med but only the needles - no syringes - on *** I called, talked to ***, then got an email from *** that they would ship the syringes without needles to me at no additional shipping fee, I would pay the product cost of $*** billed to the same credit card I used for the meds I have yet to get the syringes despite dozens of emails and calls that went unreturned the most recent contact was an email that said they show my order was delivered ***, which that original order was - the meds & needles without syringes I cannot seem to get the order for the syringes without needles I can't get anyone to call me back, and my emails are either not getting through or my request is being ignored

I ordered medicine for my dog days ago - I called yesterday to get an update: they have not had time to contact my vet for approval??
I ordered medicine for my dog and on the 7th day I called to get an update The woman said they have not contacted my vet yet I said really? She said they have people out sick Well, what about my dog's health I paid to have the medicine overnighter and now my dog has gone without for over a week They said they would get to it yesterday - it is now the next day and NOTHING! They don't answer the phone, it is always busy, they don't respond to emails This company has got to go! if you care about your animal DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!!!!!!!!

Ordered on 4/ Start getting nervous by 4/ Called every single day Always a busy signal Sometimes will ring 4-times and then get a busy signal Finally reach them on 5/ They told me they submitted a request to the vet on 4/(four days after ordering) But they haven't done crap about trying to fulfill my order other than that -- no order updates by email, no following up with the vet, no following up with the customer But the not answering the telephone has got to be the worst Not worth the hassle Canceled my order and paid $more for dog's heartworm and tick medication by ordering with *** instead

I had a great experience with Heartland Vet supplyTheir price was the best I could fineI placed an order over the phone and the customer service rep was very helpfulI had to call back several times as I was having problems with my Vet faxing back the prescriptionEach time I was directly connected to *** with no wait and she was very helpfulSince the prescription I was ordering was in short supply she addressed my concern and told me she would call me as soon as the fax came in and would get it shipped that dayThe shipping dept called me to offer quicker shipping at no extra chargeI would buy from them again any day!!

I just placed an order with Mintha at Customer Service for Heartland Veterinary Supply & Pharmacy and had an amazing experience Mintha help me resolve an online order problem I was having and 'stayed' with me until everything was complete for a prescription drug that needed to be shipped overnightShe told me she would call me back to confirm everything was in place and she quickly did It was my first experience with this company, I have already told my Vet to recommend them to their other clients and will personally continue to use their services (In addition, to the wonderful service I received, their prices are very good.)
I hope someone lets Mintha know how will she represents her company

I was hesitant to order from HVS after reading the reviews However, my experience
was totally positive Extremely polite customer service telephone rep I ordered
*** on Jul and received it Jul In just days HVS verified my order
with my vet, shipped the item for free, and kept me informed as to expected delivery
Their price was the lowest I could find either locally or on the internet I highly
recommend HVS and will definitely order from them again
