I ordered a set of replacement HID bulbs from one hidnation sales person over the phone on 02/28/When I spoke to the sales person and told him exactly what I needed he then told me it was a 6000K bulb when in fact it was supposed to be 8000K and was told I would receiving it the following dayIt did not arrive the following day, so I went out and found the correct oneI e-mail to get a RMA# they responded and told me that I was going to be charged a 30% restocking fee, plus shipping and after verifying that the bulbs were not damaged, then they would issue a partial store credit
I have read numerous complaints on there shady business practicesI know I will never recover $from themAll I want to do is to make the public aware of their unscrupulous business ethics and not engage in commerce with them

If I could give this place zero stars I would Warranty for the headlight is a scam They can't be reached by phone, and when I sent my parts in for a warranty replacement they package was refused and returned Stay away

His Nation is a SCAM, Must Read! Don't even think about buying anything from this businessThey purposely send you defective products so they can make more money from you
I had bought a complete hid kit from them that I recived in a bag, poorly packaged, with no receipt or instructions
Luckily, Hids are simple plug and play.I sucessfully installed the hids without the poor instructional videos on the Hid Nation website
First day of install I already had problems with one of my ballastsThree days later the ballast become completely uselessNot to mention they had also sent me two different colored bulbs
I had then attempted to contact them by phoneNo answerSo I emailed the warranty department, six days later there was still no responseSo I proceed with another email
Finally a responseAfter explaining my concerns I did not get any comforting informationAll I got were machine like responses explaining my warranty options
The warranty options only require you to spend more moneySo it hardly qualifies as a warranty and resembles more of a scam
So as a very unhappy customer I had personally let Hid Nation know that it would be my pleasure to make sure nobody has to deal with their ***

To whom it may concern: The customer filled out a warranty form expressing both sides have completely stopped working on his vehicle's lighting kit. He used his spare bulbs and neither of those functioned either. So we sent him a pair of ballasts that day at no charge. The
customer informed us that the lights still will not turn on with the brand new ballasts, nor his brand new spare bulbs. So the next step in our warranty policy, is for the customer to send in all the items for testing. We emailed him informing we will cover the shipping for the returning items, if he sends in the products. Therefore, he would be responsible to send in the all the items we sent him (original and replacements), then we would cover the return shipping of the products and the replacements needed. We received the items and all the bulbs and all the ballasts tested back as functional. They were tested with each other and with tester components. We emailed the customer with our findings and if he had any other info as to why they will not not turn on anymore in his vehicle, like he is claiming. So, because the items were functional, and our warranty only covers defective items, we shipped back his functional components. The customer would not be eligible for a refund, since firstly, it is passed days of purchase, the items were installed and used for a good period, we shipped warranty replacements worth ($+ shipping) without receiving any other components back first, on top of the last warranty testing which produced positive results and return shipping was covered by our department. We apologize we did not remove the tag before it shipped, but there was no problem with installation as he installed both the lights as stated in his emails with our department If a customer agrees to a partial refund or full store credit we issue an RMA# and return address, we do not trick the customer into thinking they will receive a full refund if there were no issues with the product If there had happened to be an issue with the product's functionality, it is covered under warranty and can be replaced for the customer Again, the customer has already disputed the charge in hopes of a full refund with their credit card company so there really is no issue at hand here HID Nation has been in business for over years and has run a successful operation providing excellent lighting options for our new and returning customers If we running a deceitful company that shipped incorrect items to customers, we can assure you that we would not have maintained our top ranking in the HID/LED world for this long Regards,HID Nation

Hello I am writing because my wife ordered me new lights for my truck this fall (order date - August 31)(cost $129.94) and when they arrived they were installed in our truck They didn't work at first They were adjusted and worked off and on during a two week period in which I had contacted the companyThe company felt it was the ballasts and sent a new set They did not fix the issue and the lights still do not work The company asked us to ship everything back and (they would reimburse shipping(($26)) - I have this info in an email) When they received the items they said they were working and shipped them right back to us They don't work! We have asked for a refund and the company says they wont refund us the cost or shipping now because they said their warranty only covers defective items

About weeks after I got the truck back home (on a weekend when I had help) is when I installed the HID's, they had been sitting in my desk drawer unopened until that timeI installed the system as per the instructions on the HIDNation website and immediately noticed the highbeam light on one side did not work. As a point of interest, this system is no simple installI had to remove both front headlights, the grill and numerous other front end components on an FSuper Duty Truck for accessThat being said, a day warranty seems to be designed to prevent a customer from being able to use it if something arrives broken. Between 3-days for shipping and waiting for the next weekend to have time to do the work, the warranty has already expiredFurthermore, on the HIDNation website, thought it addresses warranty issues times in the FAQ, not once does it state that the warranty is only days, this is misleading to the consumer and deceptive in my opinionI would challenge anyone to find on their website (even under the warranty links) a clear statement that their warranty is daysIf it is indeed there, it is buried so the average person is not aware.Of the approximately $I spent only $was for the HID bulbs, ballast's and wiring components, the other $was an extra partAsking me to pay $to replace a defective bulb is bad business anyway you look at itIt cost about $to ship a new bulb and the cost to the vendor for one bulb is significantly cheaper than thatBy acting like the $is for shipping, it's just a ruse to get more money from the customer who already paid for the non working part onceIt was free shipping to start with when I first ordered the kitSending it back for inspection is not practical because that would required hours of work to put the old lighting system back in or in the alternative, have the truck sitting in the shop with parts everywhere, unable to be used, until HIDNation determined if the bulb is really bad. The replacement bulb is only a few dollars and any reputable company would replace their defective part without a hassle. Any reputable company would not try to charge a customer twice for the same partHow do I know the next bulb sent would not be broken as well? I've ordered numerous headlight kits from this company and the latest one the ballast lasted weeksWas unable to find the order number for warranty to replace seeing as how for some reason that was the only order that didn't not show up on the accountThe ballast broke within the warranty but by the time the order number was found and turned in the warranty date had passedThe kit cost $but to replace just the ballast out of the kit it cost $

They sent me an LED fog light conversion kit that did not work upon being professionally installed.Their solution was to flip the plug and reverse the polarity; this also did not work Additionally, when their lights were installed into the original harnesses in my vehicle, the driver's side headlight quit working SO, not only did their product not work, but it actually somehow compromised the existing systems in my car, just from their products being plugged in
They then tell me that all sales are final, so even if they send you something that doesn't and never will work, you're just out the complete purchase price unless all of the following conditions are met (and this is from their email response to me): "However, we can offer you a partial refund or full store credit towards the products we receive in new, resalable conditionYou will need to ship back the product with an RMA # (return authorization)Your product will be subject to inspection by a certified technician

Ordered a pair of HIDs for my car ended up having to buy a real a counselor combo kit after they told me just to buy a relay kit so had to spend another $on top of already what I spent so friend wanted some for hers so I made sure to call this time so I didn't buy nothing I didn't need to they proceeded to tell me I just need the relay needless to say only one light turns on every once in awhile so I call and the guy precedes to tell me oh by the way the same guy that I need the relay canceller combo kit which is another bucks so as I was talking proceeded to put me on hold right in the middle of a conversation got back on and proceeded to do the same thing multiple times and tell I finally just hung up very unhappy and very very unprofessional I would highly suggest to find your HIDs definitely elsewhere??
