Review: HID Nation has some of the worst customer service I have ever seen or heard of. I ordered two sets of HID lights for my truck, headlights and foglights. The first thing I noticed when opened the box was that the instructions that the website said would be included were not (later to find out they don't provide them, just online videos, however the website FAQ doesn't reflect that at the time of this writing). Once I began installing the kit (which is far from the advertised "plug and play"), I realized that a ground wire had not been crimped properly and was not attached to the harness.

Once I performed an abnormal and unnecessary amount of rigging to try and fix the problems with the relay, I installed the lights. For the first week or two both lights would work MOST of the time. However one or both would cut out whenever they decided they didn't want to work anymore. At the time of writing this, the kit has been installed for 3 weeks and one light will NEVER work (passenger side), and the driver side still cuts out at completely random times. Not a good thing to have happen at night.

Upon telling their customer service about this, they refused to help in any way, saying it was the warehouses fault and not their own. The only solution offered was I could pay for shipping to return the kits, and receive in store credit and pay for shipping to have new ones sent to me. No refunds are allowed and they gave no other options to resolve the issue. A company that doesn't provide any customer service and doesn't stand behind the product enough to offer refunds should never be dealt with, lesson learned.Desired Settlement: All I want is to return the crap product and be done with this company. Some real customer service would be pleasant as well.

Bought a kit from HID Nation, ballast failed in 8 months. Warranty is a scam. You see lifetime warranty on the site when you are looking for a product, however, you don't get the real story on how it works until you put payment information in and check the terms and condition box. There you find the real dirt. You will pay to ship part back and returned to you. All they do is send you another poor quality part that will fail again and again, keeping the cycle alive for them at your expense of course. Warranty is $19.99 for what purpose? You have to diagnose the problem with the equipment, and hope you send in the part that is bad. No matter what you do, it will cost you. Stay away from them. Look around. Numerous companies do better than they do with free replacement, and shipping. The site is misleading on the warranty. Don't be fooled.

Review: I purchased a his kit form hidnation.com on 5/11/2014 I have had the hid kit in my truck for less then two months I spoke with a gentleman on 7/2/2014 when I explained what was going on with my kit he said it was faulty but they would no replace it because I did not buy additional warranty on the item I explained to him that it has been under 2 months how could it be possible that a company would not warranty there parts when I have had the item for such a short time he then hung up on me I called back and asked to speak to a manager and this time it was a woman I spoke with she also had the same attitude and I told her I would send it back and expect a refund she said it would be store credit which was absurd why would have I have store credit with a company I would never do businesses with I then told her I would file a complaint with my credit card company and she hung up on me I have bought 3 separate times from this company and never had a problem until now I guess it dosent matter how loyal you are to any company thank you.

Review: Hi,My name is [redacted] I ordered bulbs from HID Nation on 03/09/2014 saw that they were the incorrect one after placing the ordered. Called on 03/10/2014 spoke with a female, then short after a male let them know I had ordered the incorrect part which was a 9003 and wanted a H13 for my vehicle. Both male and female said they would put in the correct one before it goes out. I received it yesterday 03/12/2014,but it was the incorrect one called back female answered asked for zip code placed me on a 3 minute hold then asked again for the zip code. As explaining my situation she said sir do you even know how to install it, the transfered me to a tech which his name was [redacted] answered said that I would have to pay to ship it back, asked him why if I called not once but twice to make sure I was getting the correct item. [redacted] responded by saying well its not like it a lot of money to send it over, asked if I would be refunded said no. Asked [redacted] if I would be able to get a refund said no that its listed on there terms on their page, reviewed page nothing on there says sales are final.Desired Settlement: I would like to get a refund for the produce purchused, also I don't feel that I sould be reponsible for a shipping fee if I called them twice to let them know what I needed.

In regards to Mr. [redacted]'s complaint we can understand his frustration, but our terms and conditions are required to be read and check marked prior to submitting a final order.

Our terms and conditions clearly states that ALL SALES are final and that we do not issue any refunds, only store credit in the event that any exchange or return shall arise. In addition, he the customer had ordered incorrectly, this was not an employee mistake or employer glitch either, which if it ever is we would take full responsibility for any replacements or shipping charges, regardless of what he states that he contacted us to update his order that gets electronically submitted to our warehouse and our packaging team to box up.

Also please note that when and if any Warranty is purchased this warranty covers only the product and not any shipping charges.

Our company offers lifetime warranties and 1-2 year warranties for our customers to select at the time of purchase.

Mr. [redacted] desires to get a full refund for the product purchased which will not be granted due to our clear terms and conditions that are stated on our website before any charge has been made.

Review: I purchased a radiator from the website, byuaradiator.com for the price of $154.58. The price is not my issue. My issue is, once I received the radiator, it was used radiator, I contacted the business and I was told that they would only speak with my bank etc. I then contacted my Bank, [redacted] here in [redacted]. I took the radiator and I took pictures of what I received to my bank. A report was filed. I never heard anymore other than my wife initially emailed the company with the pictures to show them what I had received. After about 2 months, I received a letter from [redacted] stating that the dispute had been resolved and that they would be reversing the money from my account that they had previously put back. This is totally unjust. I not only want to report the radiator company but also [redacted], they never contacted me and say, could you please return the product or anything. I feel like I have been unjustly served by the radiator company as well as my Bank.Desired Settlement: I would like to make provisions to return the product and have my card re-credited for this product.

Review: Placed an order for hid light kits. Upon receiving from Fed ex materials were poorly packaged. Installed hid kit onto vehicle and the ballast is defective. Called hid nation about problem. They said they could sell me a New ballast but would not replace it because I did not buy the warranty. The part was defective upon arrival and refused to replace it.Desired Settlement: I would like a replacement kit because in order to operate at night I will have to remove the entire kit to reinstall oem equipment.

Review: In January 2014 I ordered an HID Kit from HidNation.com for a 1994 Ford Escort. Bulb type 9004. I paid extra for the lifetime warranty. I received a kit that said it was for the 9007 type bulbs. These are NOT the same as the 9004. The 9007 light is vertical as compared to the 9004 bulb. They will NOT go into the same socket.I have tried for over a month now to get HID Nation to resolve this issue, but they have been unwilling to do anything but replace the bulbs. Leaving me to pay for the return shipment. When I refused to pay for the return shipment, they told me to take it to a professional to modify the bulb housing.Finally today, they told me that according to their user agreement, the kits are sold "As-Is". upon reading the agreement closer, they have excluded themselves from all responsibility to even ship the right product. It even says that they are not responsible if the product won't fit, even though their web site claims it will.I also have an e-mail from their Sales department, from an inquiry I made before I bought the lights. In their reply, they told me it would fit fine. "It's Plug and Play so you won't have to make any modification."Desired Settlement: I want my money back. I'll gladly ship them their junk back.I would also like to see them held accountable for false advertising. They advertise that it will fit a 1994 Ford Escort, and it DOES NOT.It's a rip off.

Review: After only having my HID lights for 4 months I have done nothing but run into trouble and having to replace the lights. The lifetime warranty they sell does cover anything except give you the option to return the bulb or part back and pay for them to ship you out new bulb or part once your old one arrives to their company. After having to replace my fog light 3 different times, I call to talk to a manager to only be put on hold for 30 minutes. I then call back and was told there was no record of a phone call for a manager. After finally getting transferred to a manager, I explained the problem that I was having and how disappointed I was with their bulbs not working properly. The manager told me that they have quality products and that it was my problem and I didn't know what I was doing. The manager only argued with me and was yelling through the phone. He was rude and didn't want to listen to what I was trying to explain to him. He kept repeating the same solution over and over, even after I tried to tell him it wasn't working. He refused to believe me that I was under my car working on the lights while I on the phone and then hung up on me. He was very rude and treated me like I was an it that I didn't know anything. I have the exact same lights just from a different company in another vehicle of mine and have had no problems with them in the last 6 years so I know how to install them and I know what im doing.Desired Settlement: After dealing with these problems and being treated the way I was, I will not go back to them for any products. I would like either a full refund by cash or check, or I would like all brand new replacement parts at no charge.
