They replaced my HVAC unit April I am an electrician and I fired them in when their service man said the Hard Start Capacitor was bad (hole in the side) I inspected the outside unit and there NEVER was a Hard Start capacitor to begin with I ordered and installed one myself The service man said they had a $special to install one and a surge protection for the unit I called FPL and they installed a surge protection unit for the WHOLE house for a nominal monthly fee I hope they fired the man after I complained, but never received an answer December I looked inside the inside unit and found a very sloppy wiring job

This company called us with a service promotion and we bought a complete clean out of our system with them for $After they did the clean out which included washing the blower, in less that days my AC went up to degrees in the houseCalled them a few times because they did not call us back only to find that they do not service my area and the promotion should not have been sold to my areaNeedless to say I was out off AC for the Memorial Day weekend, we had to purchase a new blower which cost a lot of $
We think the blower stopped working because they washed it and it was seized, also when we replace the blower they did not put back in the UV lights and the UV light is up in the garage, so if we did not go up in the garage, we would have been screwed again by this companyI wrote the owners and have yet a get a responseI asked the technician to leave the blower so my husband can see it, and was told they have to take it back to the office because they have to dispose of it properlyI called another AC company and there was no reason why the Technician needed to take the blower back to the officeI want my money back for the BlowerThe customer service horrible and I will not recommend them, nor will I do business with them again once my service plan is up with themI also sent two emails to the owners and have yet to get a response from them or anyone else in the company

Poor business practices including overcharging for services, selling unnecessary products and unprofessional preventative maintenance work
Action Heating & Cooling shows evidence of poor business practices including overcharging for services, selling products not needed and unprofessional preventative maintenance that should have included suctioning overflow lines and cleaning the base of the outside unit, resulting in the AC spontaneously shutting down weeks after service due to lines clogged with gunk and slime
On 12/9/16, Action recently tried to convince us we need to replace the system at a cost of $8103, by falsifying numbers indicating we are loosing Freon and have a leak Professional testing confirmed Action's assessment as untrueAlso, the unit they were trying to sell was determined to be of a lesser quality, size and efficiency model than our Trane, at a quote considered nearly double what another company would have charged for the same system

on March Action Cooling & Heating came to my dads house and was performing a "routine inspection"My father called me and said the representative said his air was not working and he needed a replacement coil which was very expensive for an old unit, $plus $for refrigerant or what he would suggest replacing the unit for $6000-I questioned all of this and waited for the caregiver to come and check it out Less than hours later the caregiver set the air to degrees and it cooled from to in less than minutes I called the main office and told them that their service man was trying to scam my dadThey were very appoligetic but still this is unacceptableIf my dad had the means to pay and did not call me, he would of spent 6-dollars for a new a/c unit that wasn't even neededFurthermore I'm not sure they even had a scheduled appointment, I think they just showed up

I had Action Cooling & Heating, Incin Fort Myers Flreplace my air conditioner in charged me over $10,in 2017, my air went out they came and charged me over $saying my warranty was not part of their service that is with the company that they got my unit from that they just install them and service themin April this yrmy air went out again when I called them and asked them to find out why my air went out again called Action Air & Heating, they came out claiming that I would need $4,worth of work done to rewire my entire house, claiming all my wires had melted inside my handlerThen after calling another company I discovered that I am still under warranty with my unit** *** *** *** in Fort Myers, fixed the problem and only charged me $total and told me that I should file a complaint with Revdex.com against this company (Action Cooling & Heating, Inc.) and would also like to get back my $dollars, this company should be put out of Business!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! They are total scammersThey used the bait of we need to service your AC you have an existing unitOnce they got here they told me I needed a new AC and this one was put in by themThey quoted me but at the least I needed FREON and charged me $and when I called another company out for a second check
NOT ONLY did they not add the FREON but nothing was wrong with our UNIT at allThen to make matters worse they are saying we signed a service agreementCROOKS! They will not return our calls and speak with usDO NOT USE!!! I will be contacting the State attorney office about this scamming service

Chase came to our home on a maintenance inspection and completely cleaned out system inside and out for over an hourHe did a fantastic job explaining everything he was doing and steps that we can take to make our AC last as long as possible 10/would recommend!!!!

Had annual contract with action cooling and heatingEach visit they focus on selling me a new unit, now find they have not been servicingLast visit in nov with a supervisor took the negative experience to a new level Stated I needed significant work and had leaksDid not even bother to inspect the filters but stated they changed I know they did not as I had them marked Decided to get 2nd opinion whom stated there was trash in the vent area, and certain caps were loose which would cause leaks They cleaned the unit, installed new caps, fully checked it out, and stated the unit is fine

Our complaint involves many issues involving sales and billing issues, to service issues, to harassment of pushing services on us and being over-price
W.e were told we needed a new A/C system (G)10/24/2014, and installed International Comfort Prod N4A330AKC* & FMA4x30**A* and hot Water heater Rheem AXXXXXXXXX $No breakdown was given and billed dirto charge card @ Synchrony BankWe thought we were getting a loan from bank not a chgcard6/5/came out for service and had to take unit apart & replace TXVEverytime they came, tried to sell us something to add on Now 2/17/wanted to put new line underground and thru walls of my unit #$and downstairs Unit #$and tried to collect before work was even started and decided on Have heard many complaints since from our neighbors, our AssocBoard, and no one wants them in here
