Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:
COMPLETE LIES I received a phone call at 10:43AM on 4/telling me that the remote battery was replaced everything is OK, however I need my transmission oil changed I was told this was on a recorded line because I approved the transmission oil change after being told that my oil change, tire rotation and key fob were completed and in good working order Upon arrival at 11:36am to pick up my car, I have a broken cable and motor
Clearly the person that wrote the response has no idea what occurred nor did they review anything that occurred behind their closed doors including the written tech notes or phone calls because a foot woman can hardly be addressed as "we told him and he declined", there was no "he" present and stating that the door didn't work contradicts the technician notes as well as the phone calls I receivedEveryone we spoke to at Honda of Freehold was rude and obnoxious I have never in my life had to deal with such heinous people I wonder how Honda of Freehold managers sleep at night knowing they lie and cheat their customers I would call this experience far from "acting in good faith" and they have no intention in providing good service or keeping good customer relationshipsWe are going to get our car broken by Honda of Freehold fixed by another auto shop and continue our pursuit to recoup the cost of repairs
Regards,
*** ***

The Service Director called on 7/11/and she could not talk and will call backHe called her on 7/11/@ 10:am and *** *** agreed to split the cost of the ignition repair to use as a in house credit of $that she could use towards the replacement of the timing belt on her
carShe was satisfied with that compromiseWe feel we did all we can to satisfy the customerShe did recognize the ignition was experiencing problems which is why she brought it in.
Thank you

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: I have not recieved any voice messages 'attaching a copy of my voice mail list. No mention of my contract being sent and what is the tracking number? When I bought my car, the dealership knew I will be moving to [redacted] and will not benefit from the exclusive benefits at Freehold location. That is why the deal was to have a nationwide Honda care plan including everything in the exclusive freehold program, so as to be able to use when I move to [redacted]. Just a reminder of my requests: 1. Mail my car contract with a tracking number. If my contract has been lost or mis-placed, I will call appropiate officials. 2. Switch my honda care plan to be able to get my services in [redacted] as discussed prior. Deliquency and brushing off will not be tolerated. I will be filing a civil court case if you didn't rectify this problem ASAP.

thank you!
Regards,
[redacted]

The customer had a windshield replaced 1 to 2 years ago from a outside vendor not Honda of freehold. When the vehicle came in for service it already had tape on the both sides of the front windshield holding on the moldings around the windshield. Our car wash is designed as a side roller...

only, it does not have a horizontal brush that goes over the top of the body or windshield area. The molding issue is a issue that must be addressed by the company who installed the windshield prior.if you have any further questions please feel free to contact me at [redacted]Richard J[redacted] GM

With regards to our mutual customer, Per the General Sales Manager Joe C[redacted] he said he reached out to the customer and the customer has not responded. We feel we did everything to satisfy the customer.
We take pride in customer satisfaction. If we can do anything additional please let...

us know.Thank you
Honda of Freehold

We replaced the battery in the remote and then tried to open the door, the door still would not open and notified the customer it needed a motor for the door. After we told him the total repair would cost $885.00 he declined to have it repaired. After receiving the Revdex.com complaint we called...

the customer and as a good will gesture, we offered to split the bill 50% for the repair needed. [redacted] declined the offer and told us he will contact his attorney. We have acted in good faith to resolve this complaint and to satisfy the customer.

Honda Of Freehold reached out to the customer, we offered them a vehicle within their requirements. It seems they are not interested. We do work towards satisfaction for all our customers.

Thank you

In response to the complaint by Henri Setton, he brought his car in on 11/21/16 with multiple concerns on his vehicle he was notified his motor mounts were bad he refused that repair along with multiple other repairs that were recommended. He went to [redacted] and had one motor mount repaired. Since then he has a noise. He then returned back to the dealer on 12/5/16 and we offered to split the repair cost 50% with him to do the other motor mount, he declined.
We take great pride in being fair and explaining the repairs to our customers. If he wished to accept our offer we are here to help.

Respectfully,

Sal H[redacted]
Parts & Service Director

Good morning Ms. Barthene,
I tried to call your husband (Chris Hazell)
multiple times the past week and no one seems to be picking up the phone. I
wanted to call to offer him the reimbursement for the re-surfacing of the
brakes to fix the “shimmy.”

importantly, I would like to thank you
for purchasing a vehicle from Honda of Freehold. As you have noticed the high
mileage nature of the vehicle when you purchased it, we keep a special line of
vehicles that are sold as-is and would normally go to the auction based upon
their mileage and condition. As a courtesy to our customers, we keep these
vehicles for those that are looking for inexpensive transportation and who are
accustomed to the risk involved in the purchase (and thereafter).
Prior to the stock in of these vehicles, we do a preliminary safety
inspection on every one of these vehicles to make sure that they pass the necessary
minimum state requirements. For your record, I have included a copy of the
As-Is form that Regina Barthine signed to state that she understood that the
vehicle was purchased under an “As-Is Condition” and to waive any dealer
obligation thereafter the sale.
I would also like to remind you that in addition to the As-Is line of
vehicles that we offer, we also offer a Like-New selection of vehicles called
Certified Pre-Owned. We guarantee the mechanical conditions of the certified
vehicles by offering a 100,000 mile warranty on every one of them, and that is
why they tend to be $1,000 to $3,000 more expensive.
Once again, thank you for purchasing a vehicle from Honda of Freehold.
We sincerely appreciate your business. Please send the bill for the repair,
where you want the check to be mailed and I will reimburse you for the
re-surfacing of the brakes.

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:
Nobody contacted me with any attempt to resolve my complaint.
Before timing belt work I had no noises.
After timing belt work I was left with two broken mounts and a cracked bracket which I had repaired at a cost
of approximately $800 dollars.
The very (driver side) mount that's disconnected to access the timing belt was broken causing severe
vibration that  broke the front mount and broke a support bracket under the vehicle.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:
I bought the HONDA PILOT AT HONDA OF FREEHOLD in 4244 Rt. 9 South Freehold NJ 07728.
Sales Person:  DINA D[redacted]
SALES MANAGER:  DARIO A[redacted]
BUSINESS MANAGER:  JOHN B[redacted]
FIRST I BOUGHT A FLOOR / MANAGER DRIVEN HONDA CRV WITH 5216 MILES.
WHEN I CAME HOME, I NOTICED A DENT ON THE PASSENGER RIGHT ABOVE THE TIRE. THE CRV WAS BLACK ON BLACK AND DELIVERY WAS GIVEN AT 8:30 PM BUT ALL PROMISES WERE MADE THAT IF I HAVE ANY PROBLEM WITH THE CAR, I CAN BRING IT AND THEY WOULD HELP ME OUT.  I CAME VERY NEXT WEEK, TOLD DINA AND DARIO ABOUT THE DENT AND THEY SAID WHAT WOULD I LIKE TO DO.   I TOLD THEM I WANTED A HONDA PILOT.   THEY SAID THEY WOULD GIVE ME A HONDA PILOT AND TAKE  BACK THE HONDA CRV FOR FULL VALUE OF THE MONEY I HAD PAID FOR THE CRV.   WHEN SINGING THE CONTRACT, THEY RE-ASSURED THAT ALL THE MONEY CHARGED IN EXCESS WILL BE RETURNED BACK TO ME WHEN THE CRV BANK CONTRACT IS NULLIFIED.   NEXT DAY, WHEN I WENT BACK TO THEM AND ASKED THEM HOW MUCH MONEY WILL I GET BACK WHEN THE OLD CONTRACT FOR THE CRV IS NULLIFIED, THEY SAID THE CRV WAS A TRADE IN.   THEY HAVE CHARGED ME $1000 IN TRADE IN MARKDOWN PRICE AND THEY HAVE CHARGED ME ANOTHER $1200 FOR ALL THE PAPER WORK THAT I PAID FOR THE CRV JUST FEW DAYS AGO.   I LOST $2400 IN ALL.   THEY NEVER TOLD ME IT WAS A TRADE IN WHEN THEY TOOK THE CRV.   THIS WAS CHEATING.   AND THEY KEPT SAYING THAT I AM GETTING THE FULL VALUE OF THE CRV I PAID FOR.   THIS IS CHEATING AGAIN.  ON TOP OF THIS THEY COLLECTED $574.00 INDICATING TOTAL LOSS PROTECTION AND $1499.00 FOR SERVICE CONTRACT OF CRV.    EVEN THIS MONEY HAS NOT BEEN RETURNED TO ME.    I ENDED UP PAYING $41717.58 PLUS $5000.00 WHICH WAS A TRADE IN FOR MY HYUNDAI CRV.   SO FAR THEY HAVE COLLECTED $46717.58 TOWARDS THE HONDA PILOT WHICH IS SELLING FOR AROUND 36K WITH ALL THE DEALERS AS OF NOW.   THEY HAVE CHEATED ME AND FALSIFIED THEIR STATEMENTS.
THIS COMPLAINT IS FOR HONDA OF FREEHOLD IN ROUTE 9 SOUTH FREEHOLD, NEW JERSEY.

We have looked through our database  and we cannot find this customer anywhere. I believe she must of put in the wrong dealership because it says she bought a new $41k+ Honda and wanted to switch it to another model honda.
Please look into to this, she is probably talking about [redacted]...
