Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: My contract written on August 14, 2015 cleary shows the mileage on the SUV I was looking to purchase.  This was not a MISTAKE, but has been one lie after another.  Like I wrote in my original complaint to you yesterday  dated January 11, 2016 I HAVE NOT ONCE RECEIVED A PHONE CALL FROM THE GM OF FREEHOLD HONDA, NAMED PETE D, THAT I LEFT A VOICE MAIL FOR ON DECEMBER 29, 2015.
SINCE FILING THIS COMPLAINT WITH YOU YESTERDAY, 1.11.16, The GM Pete V did leave a voice mail message yesterday afternoon while I was at an affair at my daughters school. This was the only message from Pete D EVER. I have not returned his call yet and know NOTHING ABOUT A CHECK FOR $600.00.  Sounds to me like another LIE!  As I write this response to you now, it is after just seeing the note you left me today, 1.12.16.  It is impossible to write a brief note and say this was a simple mistake. This has been lies after lies right from August 13,2015, and I once again should have the 3 year contract that is clearly stated in writing.

We apologize for the inconvenience. The General Manager has tried contacting the customer in regards to this mistake, however received no response. We have mistakenly sold the customer a 3...

year warranty but then notice the vehicle that she purchased did not qualify for the 3 year warranty. The customer currently has a 2 year warranty and we have mailed her a check of $600 to cover the difference. If there’s anything else we can do to fix the issue, please feel free to contact the General Manager at Pete D at [redacted].

Honda of Freehold sent me a special that would take over the remaining 3 payments on my leased Honda Accord if I turned in my lease early and leased a new car. The salesperson confirmed that they will take care of the remaining payments. I accepted the offer to lease a new car on that major condition. The Honda leasing company later sent me a bill for the remaining 3 payments.
After I went into the dealership and spoke to the salesperson and the manager on several occasions, they said they would take care of it and that I had nothing to worry about. As of today, they still haven’t paid off the remaining payments while I continue to get a bill with late fees (This has been ongoing for 5 months). This has also adversely affected my credit score negatively, I have never missed a payment prior to this.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:
Honda of Freehold has made no attempt to contact me by phone, mail, email, fax or carrier pigeon. Once again they are not being truthful. And they never obtained "temporary" plates from **. They placed a NJ temporary plate on the vehicle when I picked it up.
In fact the car had to be parked for 10 days until a ** plate finally arrived.
Lastly, they need to clearly state that they will not tell any other customer to violate the law by driving a vehicle with an expired plate.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:
The explanation from the business is incorrect. When my car was taken in for service the wheel assembly was perfectly fine. When the service rep tried to remove the tire for rotation the entire assembly...

(where the lug nut) goes in came off. This happened while they were trying to remove the tire. The incorrect or damaged threading is the reasoning your service person gave me but they actually broke the part that the nut fits in and hence it was irreparable. Since this damage happened while performing the work it is businesses responsibility to fix this. I had come in for. $25 tire rotation and instead you have imposed a $500 service on my vehicle which was perfectly in working condition before my car went into your garage. It is only fair that the business takes responsibility for this damage and pay for it.

Revdex.com:Based on the settlement offered to me by Honda of Freehold, I was able to recover 40% of the excess amount that I had lost in this transaction.   The all weather mats that they are offering was part of the original deal.   I lost around $1400 which was paid towards documentation fee, tax, paper work and a voluntary theft loss insurance of $599 which I believe should have been returned to me.

Review: I purchased a vehicle from Honda of Freehold on September 1st 2014. They just revised their management and wanted to get more customers so they are offering a referral fee of 250 for every customer that I bring to them that purchases a vehicle. Since September 1st I brought 8 people to the dealer all 8 purchased a vehicle from them. I have yet to see a check given to me. what makes matters worse is that now they are claiming that I owe them more than $4,000 for a payment that they made on my behalf to honda for my car. which is inaccurate.Desired Settlement: I am willing to resolve this situation for the correct amount due. I spoke to Honda Financial Services and they advised me that a payment was made in the amount of $3781.44. According to their referral fee policy I would recieve 250 per referral. which in my case would be $2,000 ( 8 X 250= 2,000) Which would mean that I would be responsible for the remaining amount due which is $1,781.44.

Review: [redacted] Salesman, Honda Freehold contacted my husband & I to remind us that our CRV lease would be maturing soon. He said if we bring it in early they will negotiate a good deal. WE came in and we told him we would like to purchase it so we wouldn't have to pay the Over-Mileage fees. We were significantly OM and it would've cost us abt $4,100. He said, if we traded in the car that same day for a new one they would take care of all charges. We chose a new vehicle (Accord) and we decided to finance it. We tried to negotiate sticker price but [redacted] and his manager[redacted] said it wasn't very negotiable, he convinced us it was a good deal because THEY were paying the OM charges. We sat there for many hours..[redacted] and his mgr disappeared as they were closing the dealership & locking up and we waited. The employees looked for them. When they returned, [redacted] said..since they were closin up, we can just pick up the rest of the paperwork when we returned to pick up the plates. We did business with [redacted] in the past and trusted him. In the meantime,I received an invoice from Honda Financial Services for OM charges in the amount of $4,100. I tried to explain to HFS that we returned it to Honda of Freehold and they took responsiblilty for the payments. They said they weren't notified and we needed to contact the dealership. I called & [redacted] assured me not to worry, he would take care of it. When we received the second invoice my husband went to speak to [redacted] personally & he took the invoice from him promising to take care of it. When I came into pick up plates, I asked for paperwork...there was none. I asked for [redacted] and they told me he was on a personal leave. I asked for the mgr[redacted] and was told he no longer works there. My husband went there to speak to the new mgr, and he said he knew nothing of this. the best he could do is reduce the OM charges to $3,300 (which didnt happen). [redacted] called my husband, he said he was back from leave and kept apologizing but nothing was resolvedDesired Settlement: Since [redacted] admits that the paperwork mysteriously disappeared and apologized that it's now out of his hands, I told Honda Corporate and Honda Financial Services that I would like to have a conference call with [redacted] the new manager and the corporate offices so that [redacted] can explain the terms of the deal they made with us. Honda Corporate office said they can't do that for whatever reason. I find this very deceptive and would like them to adjust the bill that we are receiving from Honda Financial Services. I have been forced to start making payments otherwise my credit will be affected. If they're willing to reduce the bill significantly.. we are willing to compromise. But I feel that the Corporate Office and the collections dept should listen to a full explanation from [redacted] as to what happened. [redacted] apology sounded very sincere however it is not sufficient and doesn't help us at all..he needs to put this in writing for the record.

Review: Originally they sold me a CRV for my Hyundai SantaFe trade in. Since the CRV had a dent that we did not notice, I took it to the dealer and told them I want to return the CRV and get a Honda pilot instead. The sales person Dana D[redacted] told us we are getting the full price back from the CRV and applied to Honda Pilot purchase. The final deal was 2459.95 in excess of what we should have paid had we bought the Honda Pilot minus trade in for our Santa Fe in the first place. We were not okay with the numbers in the first place but they said when the CRV contract is cancelled we will get the difference back. Now, when we went back to make sure that the difference will be 2459.95 plus the 1499 dollar (extended warranty for CRV), they are saying that only the 1499 will be returned but the other 2459.95, we lost in depreciation of the CRV plus all the fees we paid towards the CRV. All in all we ended up paying 2459.95 in excess. They never ever mentioned depreciation but kept telling us over and over that we are getting full price back. We paid for all the fees they asked for and also agreed to finance with them in spite of having cash ready to finalize the deal. The CRV had 5200 miles on it and they told us we could bring it back to them since it was demo and manager driven vehicle. When we took delivery it was late night and we noticed the dent soon after we arrived at home. We took the CRV back to them, they agreed to take it back for full price we paid for it but they illegally charged us for depreciation and 1200 bucks worth of fees.Desired Settlement: They should not charge any depreciation nor the fees since they said I was getting full value from the earlier deal and due to the fact that they promised me to take the CRV back if I was not happy with the vehicle.

I bought the HONDA PILOT AT HONDA OF FREEHOLD in 4244 Rt. 9 South Freehold NJ 07728.Sales Person: DINA D[redacted]SALES MANAGER: DARIO A[redacted]BUSINESS MANAGER: JOHN B[redacted]FIRST I BOUGHT A FLOOR / MANAGER DRIVEN HONDA CRV WITH 5216 MILES.WHEN I CAME HOME, I NOTICED A DENT ON THE PASSENGER RIGHT ABOVE THE TIRE. THE CRV WAS BLACK ON BLACK AND DELIVERY WAS GIVEN AT 8:30 PM BUT ALL PROMISES WERE MADE THAT IF I HAVE ANY PROBLEM WITH THE CAR, I CAN BRING IT AND THEY WOULD HELP ME OUT. I CAME VERY NEXT WEEK, TOLD DINA AND DARIO ABOUT THE DENT AND THEY SAID WHAT WOULD I LIKE TO DO. I TOLD THEM I WANTED A HONDA PILOT. THEY SAID THEY WOULD GIVE ME A HONDA PILOT AND TAKE BACK THE HONDA CRV FOR FULL VALUE OF THE MONEY I HAD PAID FOR THE CRV. WHEN SINGING THE CONTRACT, THEY RE-ASSURED THAT ALL THE MONEY CHARGED IN EXCESS WILL BE RETURNED BACK TO ME WHEN THE CRV BANK CONTRACT IS NULLIFIED. NEXT DAY, WHEN I WENT BACK TO THEM AND ASKED THEM HOW MUCH MONEY WILL I GET BACK WHEN THE OLD CONTRACT FOR THE CRV IS NULLIFIED, THEY SAID THE CRV WAS A TRADE IN. THEY HAVE CHARGED ME $1000 IN TRADE IN MARKDOWN PRICE AND THEY HAVE CHARGED ME ANOTHER $1200 FOR ALL THE PAPER WORK THAT I PAID FOR THE CRV JUST FEW DAYS AGO. I LOST $2400 IN ALL. THEY NEVER TOLD ME IT WAS A TRADE IN WHEN THEY TOOK THE CRV. THIS WAS CHEATING. AND THEY KEPT SAYING THAT I AM GETTING THE FULL VALUE OF THE CRV I PAID FOR. THIS IS CHEATING AGAIN. ON TOP OF THIS THEY COLLECTED $574.00 INDICATING TOTAL LOSS PROTECTION AND $1499.00 FOR SERVICE CONTRACT OF CRV. EVEN THIS MONEY HAS NOT BEEN RETURNED TO ME. I ENDED UP PAYING $41717.58 PLUS $5000.00 WHICH WAS A TRADE IN FOR MY HYUNDAI CRV. SO FAR THEY HAVE COLLECTED $46717.58 TOWARDS THE HONDA PILOT WHICH IS SELLING FOR AROUND 36K WITH ALL THE DEALERS AS OF NOW. THEY HAVE CHEATED ME AND FALSIFIED THEIR STATEMENTS.THIS COMPLAINT IS FOR HONDA OF FREEHOLD IN ROUTE 9 SOUTH FREEHOLD, NEW JERSEY.

Review: I went to freehold honda interested in buying a new civic. Online they had a coupon stating if you test drive a car they will give you a $50.00 gift card just fro driving not buying the car. I met with [redacted] a sales person and looked at the car I wanted and showed him the voucher. To make a long story short [redacted] told me I would get it in about a week and never received it. I never bought the car from them being that they sold the car a few days later but anyway I called [redacted] and the sales manager multiple times and left messages letting them know I never got the gift card. They never returned my calls and it has now been over a month. I'm not upset about not getting it although I would like it considering I am entitled to it, but I'm upset how they are ignoring me and basically are false advertising. My friend went as well and she never received hers as well so I think you may wanna look into their dealership.Desired Settlement: I would like my [redacted] gift card they promised

I just tried to call you but you did not pick up. I investigated into the issue and it seems that the reason you never go the [redacted] card is because we had an address mismatch in our system.

the promotion is already over but I will issue a cashier's check to you for $50.

please give me a call at [redacted] and I can have the check either mailed to you or have you pick it up at the dealership.
