Review: On September [redacted], 2013, I Had dropped my iPhone 5 and cracked my screen and decided to take my phone into the iFix and repair store in the White Plains, NY Galleria Mall to get it fixed. I was told by a [redacted] whom I believe is the manager at the store that the screen was in stock and it would take 4 hours for the phone to be fixed. I was advised to leave the phone and to pay for the services ($130.00) in full and that my phone would be ready within the next 4 hours. I returned 6 hours later only to be told that the screen that was in stock was damaged and a temporary white screen was placed on my black iPhone 5 (which took an additional two hours to install). At that point I was told that the correct screen would arrive at the store the following Wednesday September [redacted] 2013 and I would be given a phone call as soon as it comes in. That Wednesday came and I did not receive a phone call, and I decided to drop into the store the following Friday 9/**, where I was told that the screen has still not arrived and will be arriving Wednesday, 9/**.I explained my frustration that the temporary screen that I was given was partly unresponsive which caused me to miss important calls from my job (overtime)and I lost money because of that. The store employee apologized for the convenience. The [redacted] of September arrived and still no phone call, and I headed once again to the store on October [redacted] to where I spoke to [redacted] the manager and told him that it has now been 27 days since I given him my $130.00 and I have not received the product I payed for, nor have I received a phone call from him or any of his Staff members. [redacted] then told me, that the black iPhone 5 screens are on "backorder" and there is a "nationwide shortage" of Black iPhone 5 screens. I then asked for a Refund where I Was told There is a "no refund policy". I was reassured that the screen would arrive on October [redacted]. Today is October [redacted] and I Still have not received a phone call nor the services that I Paid in FULL for.Desired Settlement: I would like my Screen Replaced as Asked and/or a Full Refund for my Extreme Inconveniences.

Sincerely,

[redacted] I was not contacted by the business but stopped by again to complain. While there they took my phone and fixed the screen.

Review: On 6/**/13 I took My IPhone 4S to be repaired as the back of my phone shattered. The gentle (who no longer works there, and staff refuse to provide me a name) ask if there were any issues with my phone and I told him sometimes people had difficulties with hearing me speak on a phone call. The tech bang my phone and said there was dirt in the microphone. I realized that my camera began taking fuzzy pictures and people were unable to hear me on calls unless I had my phone on speaker. I returned to the store on 9/**/13 to address the issue. [redacted] took apart my phone and showed that a film was left where the camera lens is located and apologized that the technician left there. I then addressed the microphone issue with [redacted] and was told he would have to replace a piece and the phone needed to remain in the store overnight. On 9/**/13 I returned to pick up the phone it was tested and at that point everything was fine. That evening when I attempted charging my phone it wouldnt charge beyond 12%. I again returned on 9/**/13 and explained my phone would not charge and I was again asked to leave my phone for repair. On 9/**/13 I was told by [redacted] that in trying to repair the battery, he accidentally fried the motherboard. I was told by [redacted] that the store would be ordering my a new phone because of their error. I returned to the store daily Monday-Friday (as I live in [redacted] and chose this store in[redacted] NY where I am employed) and hoping I would receive a new phone. Finally I received a phone I believed to be new and when attempting to active the phone at Sprint, I was told the phones EDM Number had a Stolen Status. I returned to the store furious and [redacted] stated they needed to hold onto the phone and sort thing out. I have yet to receive a phone and today (10/**/13) I visited the store and was told a phone was ordered, but was refused any confirmation. I submitted a complaint to Ifixandrepair.com but there is no direct contact to make a formal complaint.Desired Settlement: I would like a replacement phone that is comparable to the phone broken by iFix and Repair.

Review: On August **, 2013, I dropped off a Samsung Galaxy 3 at Ifixandrepair in the Gallery Mall for repair. [redacted], the day manager, explained that the phone needed a new screen and that it would take approximately 7 days to get the new screen and repair the phone. He told me he would call me in a week. I called to check the status on the part five days later and was told that the part hadn't shipped, but that the store clerk would call me when it did. I wait three days and then called back and was told the part had not arrive. This back and forth went on for another three days and I asked about cancelling the order, but was told that because it was in process, I couldn't cancel (total of $250.00). It is now September **th and I have not received the phone, even though I call 4 - 6 times a week and each time either a store clerk (who refuses to give her name) or "[redacted]" will tell me the phone is being repaired, was repaired but needed another part, is out for repair, or the latest, had been mailed to my daughter's college address on Tuesday, September **, even though I repeatedly told them to hold the phone so that I could pick it up. After calling five more times I was finally given a tracking number which shows the phone still has not been mailed. I called this afternoon (9/**) and was told the phone had shipped, even though I can clearly show them that it has not. Each time I ask to speak with a manager, I am told one is not working but that a technician is checking the status and each time I ask to speak with the technician, I am told they aren't allowed to speak with customers. At this point, I am planning to look at small claims court options to get back both my phone and the $250 paid for services not rendered.Desired Settlement: I would like the return of my phone and the $250 for the part they insisted I needed but has never been received.

Review: On July **,2013, I paid for glass repair on my iPod touch 4. I have made 17 trips to the store and they have not returned my iPod. They have blatantly lied, made me wait for an average of two hours, ignored me and/or continue to voice that they have perhaps misplaced it. On a December ** company email, I was again promised to have this issue resolved within 2 weeks, yet they never did. Four days ago, I visited the store again and was lied to again.Desired Settlement: I expect full cash reimbursement for the total cost of my device and the amount paid for the repair given that due to their excessive delaying tactics, I had to buy a new device.

Sincerely,

Review: I dropped of my IPAD 1st Generation on 12/[redacted]/13 to be repaired. I was informed that I have to pay about $225.00 upfront, which covers the cost of the repairs and I will get my item back in 7-10 business days. I paid and gave them the item to fix. I returned on the 11th business day and was informed that the repair was not yet finished and that I should return the following day. I returned the following day. I was then informed that extra parts were needed and that they were coming in from china, so I should wait more business days. I did. In the interim, I called every other day just as a follow up but to no avail. One day I called and was told that the Tech who was working on the motherboard issue said to give them an extra week because the work was very tedious. I called the following week and was told that the Tech who was handling my claim just stepped away and he locked my ipad in his locker. When he comes back they will give me a call. NO Call. I went into the store and was told that the Tech was fired and that my IPAD was returned to the corporate office because it was unclaimed.

I was told it would be delivered to the store in 3 days which would have been last Wednesday. I called last Wednesday and was told it had not reached to the store. I called last Friday and when I asked the "New" Manager for a number to the Corporate office, I was told that there was no Corporate Office. When I called the 1800 number that is on the website, I was routed back to the store.

I am unable to get my money back or my IPAD.

I need my IPAD and my money back.Desired Settlement: I need my IPAD and my money back.

Review: On July [redacted] 2014, I went into the IFix and repair store located in the [redacted]. The screen on my Samsung S4, and I wanted to get it repaired. The store had a generic sign that looked like the manager made it advertising 150 to repair phones and tablets. I negotiated with the technician to repair my phone for 118.11 which included tax. He told me to come back within half hour and it would be repaired. I did. After, I paid for the phone and walked out of the store into the mall. I began to notice my phone wouldn't pick up all of the touch signal. I would type a text message and it would get two letters and then freeze so I would have to turn off the LED screen and turn it back on to be able to type the remaining message. The same day, I went back and showed them and they put it under a machine and gave it back to me with the same issues. I went back home with the same issues. I went back to the store the next day on the [redacted] with the same issues only now the extended battery I had for my phone now, failed. I had spoken to a technician named [redacted] that told me he would put my phone under a machine and see if it would work. I went back to the store about 5 times that day because of the same problem. He told me to come back the next day. This time when I left the store I could no longer receive or make phone calls. I called the corporate office that night and the next afternoon, and I left two messages on their phone. Today is the [redacted] of July and I have yet to receive a call back. That night I also called [redacted] whom informex me my called were going through, however my microphone may be the problem. I went back the following day on the [redacted] and the original technician that fix my phone was in. When I walked in the [redacted] told me the technician I worked with wasn't in yet, when I saw him walk in. I called him out on his lie and then he went to the back to get the other technician that original fixed my phone. He told me he will take about an hour and they have to take my phone apart and fix it. I came back after the hour was finish and I still could not make or receive phone call, and then the phone wouldn't register the Sim card. I told [redacted] I wasn't able to receive or make calls and I the information [redacted] told me and he, then proceesed to tell me that they would have to charge me again because that didn't have to do with the screen being broken. I was fed up so I just bought a new phone. When I went bacm to the store to request a refund I was told because the proper protocol wasn't taken they are not responsible for damaging my phone. I can almost guarantee that they wanted me to come back until the 14 day grace period to finish and then tell me they cannot do anything because of that.

They broke my phone and they broke my extended battery and they wanted me to pay them for that. I have no problem breaking my electronic on my own.

They are crooks and nothing more.Desired Settlement: I have already contacted my bank account to file a claim against them to receive my funds back. I do think they need to be investigated because for one they could be robbing hundreds of customers because their website stated they are 100 to fix the sceen. Secondly, they are breaking people's possessions and not taking accountability for it.

Sincerely,

Review: I went to this store in hopes of having my iPhones cracked screen repaired. First I called to ask the cost and how long it would take, I was told 90$ and about an hour. I was also recommended coming in and having it repaired there because if I tried to do it myself I may damage the phone further. When I went into the store I explained to [redacted] what I was there for and what the previous man on the phone had told me. In the store he told me he could not fix my cracked screen for 90$ he didn't know why someone would tell me that price. Then told me it would take longer then and hour. I was not happy,[redacted] then told me to wait for the manager, He came in and confirmed the things he said over the phone to me. I was pleased to know that my phone would be repaired fully in 1 hour for 99$. When I went back later to pick the phone up I was not satisfied with the service as the screen was a different color. I told them both this while I was at the store. The solutions they gave me were; give me my money back and put a cracked screen back on my phone, or I could have them put another screen on as that one could be defective.I needed to leave the mall as I had other things to do. [redacted] the manager told me to come back within the 90 days and they would fix the problem. After getting home and making a few phone calls I have now realized my discolored screen has also turned into a much bigger problem. My phone now will not sync to my computer, nor does it charge properly, and when ever I am on a phone call the person on the other end can hear themselves. I called the manager to address these issues. He was extremely rude, he would not give me his managers name or phone number, and after all this I still only had one option... To Go into that store and have them try to fix my phone again. After speaking with [redacted] we decided that I would come into the store on 5/24 at 515, they were going to fix the issues. When I got there [redacted] was never informed that I was coming, or what needed fixed.Desired Settlement: [redacted] then told me he was perfect that he never has messed a phone up before. In the end I was VERY DISPLEASED with the no communication between employees, and the lack of customer service this company has. They cold have cared less about making sure my phone was fixed or if they were satisfying their customers. My phone is still broken. I am waiting to receive my money back, via my bank account, however in the meantime my phone still will not charge properly, sync properly, and it still echoe

Review: I went into the store to get a cracked phone screen repaired. The employee took the phone apart and repaired my screen. However, after leaving the store, the microphone piece within the phone did work after they took the phone apart to replace the screen. I then went back to the store and explained the issue. They took the phone apart again and put it back together and the piece still didn't work. Then they told me that its broken, that they had to order the part for me. After this I am unable to use my phone to make calls, I can only use the speaker phone. Which is inconvenient for me as this is also a business phone. This was on 3/28, the part was supposed to be in the store on 3/30. On 3/30 I called and was told that the part won't be in until 4/2. I then explained to them how inconvenienced I was by this issue. I went into the store to fix a screen, which they did, however, during the process they broke the microphone piece. I came in with a working phone (minus the cracked screen), I came out with a broken phone. The manager on the phone began to tell me "how do I know you didn't come in with a broken phone?' that he doesn't trust me. I paid $135 to fix the screen, and I bought my wife 3 phone cases. I began to ask for some sort of a refund (i asked for 25% of what I paid back) for the inconvenience I was caused. The manager said he cannot do anything for me but order the part. This is a really bad way of doing business. Manager has no trust for the customer, nor is he willing to compensate for the damage he caused, since I am unable to use the phone.Desired Settlement: I would like some sort of a refund. Perhaps not the whole thing, but possibly 25%-50% of what I paid ($135.00). I am unable to use a phone that I pay for on a daily basis. This phone is also used for business purposes. This is really unfair that a business like is not willing to take any responsibility for breaking my phone aside from ordering a new part. In the meantime I cannot use my phone. There should be some sort of compensation for this.
