.Very unprofessional background check service. They won't let you pay for a background check and then decide if you want to sign up: Instead, you have to sign up for their plan and then you get to see the quality of their work. It's no wonder, considering you wouldn't be likely to buy the service if you saw the work. It's also no wonder that the first directions on the recording you get when you call is how to cancel the service. Of particular note is that you are asked to pay more if you want anything beyond the most basic information. When you're doing a background check with Instant Checkmate it warns you that you'll be receiving information from "Real" police departments and "government" courthouses (Is there any other kind?) and that you may find the information "shocking." What do you get? Standard information, including criminal information, satellite pictures of the subject's house (Big deal), photos of sex offenders in their neighborhood (How is that relevant?), and the subject's HOROSCOPE! Sorry, guys: I do serious background checks and I need a serious provider.
