I used several other movers in the past but never ever experienced such a smooth and stress free move and that even within a very reasonable price and to add the surprise, this time I was moving across the continentsI am grateful to Inter moversThey scheduled my move in no time and also accommodated my requirements, gave me in written that there will be no hidden costs and assigned a very good moving teamThey showed up on time at the move day and packed the whole house in just under hours and loaded everything nicelyAll my valuables and breakables were moved to *** ***Most importantly there was no hidden charge, no unwanted issues and no bleach of agreementThey have done everything they were committed toIn the end, I just want to thank the sales rep, foreman and the helpers for the job well done

He is quoting the maximum carrier liability for freight goods in the USIntermodal, international transport of household goods is a much different and more complex issue

We read the great reviews about them, and after extensive comparison with other movers, we selected Inter Movers LLCThese guys were absolutely fantasticBoy, did they work incredibly hard! I've never seen any people work so hard for so long! And yet they took so much care with everythingI could not imagine or hope for the service that we got from themit was a large move and it only took hoursI expected at least hoursWhen it was time to pay, I insisted to pay them more than they askedNot because I'm rich or nice, but because they easily deserved itI highly, absolutely recommend them!

Absolutely fabulous! They were so fast, Moved everything fast and efficientlyI would recommend to friendsVery friendly staff

I agree that this is a matter that needs to be handled internally, however Inter Movers has had months to discuss any sort of solution and refuses to do so.The first chance was on November *** when Inter Movers finally told me my shipment has been missing for eight weeks (it had been sold off seven weeks earlier).The insurance denial happened on December *** and Inter Movers' solution was "We just have to find this guy somehow."The next time any communication happened was December *** after the *** * News report airedI updated Inter Movers on the situation and I was told to wait until January *** until they could discuss anything. Inter Movers still did not contact me until January *** 2015, only after I once again contacted them, and their response was, "we will have to work something out here." I agreed and have not received any contact since.I have responded to Inter Movers' comment here via eMail asking for further informationIt has been hours and they have still failed to contact me in any fashion. We are in contact with this person and we are in a process of figuring out what kind of compensation he can receive since insurance that was purchased is denying a claimTherefore, this needs to be settled internaly

I am sure that Inter Movers is one of the best moving companies around which moves internationallyI heard a lot about them from various sourcesThat is why I called them when I was looking for professional moversI spoke with their sales guyHe was very keen to know about the nature of the move, he arranged an appointment quickly and offered me such a deal which was hard to ignoreHe called me and sent their movers on time during the moving day oneMovers arrived and did play their part perfectlyThere was nothing which delayed the course or caused any unwanted issuesAll went fine and as smooth as possibleI am highly impressed on Inter Movers and I am recommending them

The company we hired in the USA did not tell us we had to pay a Chinese company and then get stuck using his over priced local agent he still claims that we was not involved and has nothing to do with the Chinese company but only on his direction did they reduce the charges to us we should not have had any charges from his people in Hong Kong and we should have been able to collect our goods at the port in Durban we ended up paying well over $1,us dollars that we where never told about and *** is directing people here as we have been told to make sure we pay the additional money which was included in our original payment to his company.what he did is wrong stealing and miss leading he should pay us for his errors and then having others charge us for trhem we paid him port to port in full we should have had to only pay Durban port charges and unloading
we paid the above along with charges from Hong Kong and local handling and transportation to Joberg which we never wanted but he told me in an email I had to use his local company and no one else, among other charges.this is totally wrong

Inter Movers LLC took away all that stress for my most recent moveWe were going from an overstuffed two bedroom house to a third floor apartment and the guys handled everything with ease and never once gave us reason to doubt that they would get the job done with care and professionalismThey took precious care of all of our fragile items and furnitureI hope I don’t have to move again any time soon, but I’ll most definitely call Inter Movers LLC if I do

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved becauseAll additional charges are confirmed by the local agents are from Inter Movers through his Hong Kong affiliate.   We have been charged for things we already paid inter movers for already.the man in charge was not forth right and has 100% charged us through another agent in Hong Kong.   Our quote has nothing to do with additional payments to the Durban Port through a Hong Kong company.   All local people working with us have clearly stated they are all waiting for inter movers and Hong Kong to release our goods.   This means we must pay money that Durban port people have nothing to do with.   We where never and I repeat it again never told about his partner/affiliate and or a company in Hong Kong that would be charging us.  We paid in full port of US to the Durban Port in South Africa.   We researched the local charges and they should have been no more than 7000 rand yo off load and for his local agent yo do the paperwork.   We ended up paying almost 16,000 rand and we had no control as the Email from inter movers says we must use his local agent.  Long story made short we where held hostage and black mailed to pay otherwise we would have had to pay Hugh storage charges.  This guy seems to think he is untouchable and can abuse his clients as most people who move there personal goods will only use him once.  So no worries about future business buy these type of clients.   KEEP U OUR EYES OPEN WHEN US ING THIS SMOOTH OPERATOR.

Unfortunately, I can not do any better then $1250.

Destination agent is working on delivery of this ASAP. I will follow up with them once again.

There was a systematic and professional approach that reduced the chances any damage to all the household items. Everyone was extremely courteous, reliable and efficient. Would absolutely use this service again and would highly recommend it to anyone that is looking for a move in the near future.

Thanks for helping out today! I wish everybody was so careful, accurate, fast and polite! Great job, guys!

 This is a perfect example of Inter Movers apathetic attitude towards our concerns . Although there is conveniently no mention of compensation in their contract for a late shipment, my experience with every REPUTABLE company that I've ever had issue with is that they try to the best of their ability to compensate clients for substandard service.
When my wife and I contracted the the services ( in excess of $5,000.00) of Inter Movers we were under the false impression that they were a reputable company, unfortunately we were sadly mistaken. Our understanding was that our belongings would arrive undamaged and within the time frame we were quoted again this was not the case.The really sad part about this whole ordeal is that Inter Movers hasn't even had the common decency to apologize for any of our inconvenience damaged belongings and late delivery). All they've done to date is make excuses for substandard service and totally absolve themselves of responsibility for their employees bad behavior. One could understand if they were 5% maybe 10% past their quoted time frame but 20% is unacceptable. We were quoted eight weeks not a time frame of eight to twelve weeks. How late I wonder is supposed to be acceptable to Inter Movers ? I ask this since it's obvious that because it's not stated, keeping customers waiting weeks past the quoted time seems to be business as usual.  At this point it's also obvious that Inter Movers has No desire to even mediate this debacle. Maybe they should refund us 20 % of our contracted fee ? In either case we really need Revdex.com to step in and sort this out on our behalf.

Client has purchased an additional insurance that covers TOTAL LOSS of shipment only. Insurance against damage or partial loss could not be purchased due to a fact that all items were packed by owner. The forms he fill out and signed in regards to insurance, clearly stated coverage. Unfortunately,...

some item got misplaced during shipping process. Our liability is limited to $0.60 per LB per article but we were willing to settle this but the amount is no where near of what he is asking.

I hired this company to help me move items from my family's home in Ireland to New York where I am currently living. I was very pleased with the pricing of the move as well as the customer service I received when I initially called in. They made sure that every aspect of this move went smoothly and that I received all of my belongings in perfect condition. This is a top notch service and their crew and company are very professional and good at what they do. I would definitely use their services again in the future.
