I have used Inter Movers for my shipment going to [redacted]. Job well done. Besides my goods I also had a grand piano that was handled with extreme care. Bravo on job well done.

The move was completed super fast and they took care of all my belongings and made sure no damages were made. Arrival was prompt and they called ahead of the time to provide the exact arrival time. I would hire them again.

Client has paid for transporting goods to Durban South Africa. His quote did not include any port/terminal handling charges. Shipment was transshipped via Hong Kong since there is no direct to Durban....

Charges that client is being asked for is for local port charges in Durban. There are no charges from Hong Kong. Anyways, we have asked destination agent to see if charges could be reduced and they were reduced as per email to me in copy of shipper.

As I understand correctly this complaint is about shipment being delivered in 10 weeks instead of 8 and some items that were damaged. Client needs to understand and this was explained that 8 weeks delivery...

time to UK or anywhere in Europe for that matter is average. Actual delivery time is based on customs release and availability of labor right after shipment gets released from customs. This is not a move around the corner or even to a different state in USA. This is international relocation. Being delayed ONLY 2 weeks after average it's very good considering dealing with international customs bureau. As for some items being damaged, sometimes it does happen. This is why we encourage all shippers to purchase moving insurance. After all this is going half way across the globe and being handled multiple times including unloading for customs exam in UK and reloading again for delivery. Client should claim insurance and we will assist in any paperwork needed for claim process. As for the amount disputed, I do not see any reason for any refund at all. This is not a criminal case, there are no punitive damages or compensation for pain and suffering.

I am sorry but this is just going on and on in circles discussing issues of behavior of [redacted] and/or [redacted] our crew member. There is no restitution for being delayed 2 weeks. As Mentioned before 8 weeks was just average transit time and nowhere in our paperwork it states that there will be any discounts neither a guaranteed delivery dates were promised.

I was impressed by their professionalism and courtesy. It was obvious my items were cared for and the workers didn't lolly gag or waste time. They were smooth and efficient. Another thing worth mentioning is that I never had a problem getting someone on the phone to answer my questions and provide me updates. They always responded right away to my emails and/or taking my calls and that is worth a lot in my book.

Great experience (as much as moving can be) and I will definitely use these guys again in the future.

I do not want to repeat myself but charges that were paid were only Durban port charges and the only reason they were collected by Hong Kong is because shipping agent is located in Hong Kong. Those charges were not included in quote provided and clearly stated so in black & white in writing.

They were so efficient to finish our one bedroom moving quickly though we had a lot of stuff. They pay attention to details. I'd recommend them.

It was a wonderful experience and the best move we have ever made. The guys were all very courteous and professional. They moved us in 4 hours. We will definitely use them again.

I have to honestly express my satisfaction for the service positively provided by you. Customers often do not realize the difficulty to overcome customs bureaucracy. Inter Movers LLC has been professionally equal to the situation and therefore I would like to thank all for the good outcome.

A few month ago I used inter movers. They did a brilliant job moving me internationally. They took very good care of my wife’s glass collection along with the wall glass shelves. They didn’t break nor damage anything. They smoothly loaded everything in their truck. They perfectly placed everything at our new home. Thanks inter movers.

 I don't accept that response. The shipment arrived in the U.K. on August [redacted] and was released soon after by customs ( we have the email proof from [redacted] in the UK the agents used by the US company we contracted with. We called and called and called them and were told at least twice that they couldn't deliver to us as they HAD NO VEHICLES spare to bring our items. 
inter Movers continually use the excuse of customs being the hold up when we know that is not the case. And to be precise it was 10 1/2 weeks not 8 as promised. 
 No I do not accept that response.

they were eventually shipped and arrived in UK on August [redacted] and released from customs soon after. We have documented proof that [redacted] who Inter Movers used in the UK COULDNT bring our stuff as they had no vehicles spare. They were too busy.
we spoke and emailed with them on numerous occasions and were told this at least twice and in writing.
we only received our stuff Sept ** it having been sat on for at least 2 weeks in a warehouse in the 
UK.
it was 10.5 weeks instead of the promised 8 weeks to be precise and in a dreadful state upon arrival. 
The fact that [redacted] couldn't get the stuff to us is unacceptable.
oh and Inter .movers now refuse all contact with us to help with our insurance claim, ignoring all email correspondence since we filed with you and the credit card company (they only let us put $500 of z$5000 bill as I know they are scared of being claimed against. So their claim to you that they will help us is a downright untruth!!

Review: I hired Intermovers to move personal items and some furniture from New London, Connecticut to St. Andrews Scotland. First, in the moving day in CT the movers arrived on the [redacted] of January with a 9h delay, the time schedules was 9 am, they arrived at 6 pm. Our items were packed, removed, shipped and arrived in the UK on the [redacted] of February. They were cleared in customs and are currently sitting in storage somewhere in London. I was told by Dolphin (the company that will deliver in Scotland) that I have to wait for them to have other deliveries in Scotland. I have not received my items, and I have contacted both Intermovers and Dolphin several times to which I got no concrete answer as to when will I receive my items. This is causing me profound discomfort since I am living without the furniture that will someday arrive, and without most of my clothes, photographs and other personal items. It has been 12 weeks since Intermovers picked up the items to be moved, I tried to pay more to receive my items as soon as possible and also got no concrete response to that.Desired Settlement: I would like them to deliver my items, since most of them are personal and irreplaceable.

•Inter Movers subcontracted out to [redacted] who hired [redacted]

•Inter Movers did not tell me my shipment was missing until I pressed for an estimation date (eight weeks later)

•Inter Movers have never once initiated contact and communication was brief, unhelpful, and unapologetic

•Since then a reporter at [redacted] investigated and found [redacted]]. They also found that he sold off my belongings to at least a local comic shop (I have verified that the items are 100% mine). My items were taken to the shop a week after they were picked up.

•I have filed a report with the [redacted] on December [redacted] (Case #[redacted]), but I have been informed that it is likely to be "written off as a civil case" and therefore nothing will be done.

•Inter Movers has stopped replying to me; they have defaulted on their contract and are now leaving me stranded.

•I paid them $1,620 for their service

•My shipment is valued at roughly $15,000Desired Settlement: Refund as well as compensation for my stolen shipment

I agree that this is a matter that needs to be handled internally, however Inter Movers has had months to discuss any sort of solution and refuses to do so.The first chance was on November [redacted] 2014 when Inter Movers finally told me my shipment has been missing for eight weeks (it had been sold off seven weeks earlier).The insurance denial happened on December [redacted] 2014 and Inter Movers' solution was "We just have to find this guy somehow."The next time any communication happened was December [redacted] 2014 after the [redacted] News report aired. I updated Inter Movers on the situation and I was told to wait until January [redacted] 2015 until they could discuss anything. Inter Movers still did not contact me until January [redacted] 2015, only after I once again contacted them, and their response was, "we will have to work something out here." I agreed and have not received any contact since.I have responded to Inter Movers' comment here via eMail asking for further information. It has been 48 hours and they have still failed to contact me in any fashion. Sincerely,[redacted]

I've been a financial analyst for quite some time and I recently I found a 3 year course in London to better my craft. I'm writing this review while the move is still in process being delivered to my London flat but I can assure you it's about 95 % complete and everything is very smooth. I never imagined that I would be able to have my stuff moved without having to lift a finger. Inter Movers LLC really takes the stress out of moving especially since they fully packed, crated my precious belongings in front of my eyes. Very courteous and professional. Thanks Inter Movers team.

Loved their service
I have used Inter Movers for my relocation to Germany and just recently back to Miami, USA from Germany. Both times the only thing I have seen is professionalism and respect to my belongings. I would strongly recommend their service to anyone that decides to my out of country or back to US for that matter.
