I signed up for Ipsy in April and was immediately taken off their waiting list and told my package would be arriving shortly, it was just being "processed." I received an automated email at the end of April (after emailing the company inquiring about my package) apologizing the package was late, and that it would be shipped as soon as possibleThat was April 23, I was charged 10.00$ on April 13thMay is here, I email them again inquiring about my package, and received ANOTHER automated email with tracking information for my MAY packageI am moving, and updated my address on their website before May 1st (as it is directed to do so) and brought that up in the email in reference to where my April "glam bag" would be shipped toThey emailed me back telling me "We typically do not reimburse for address changes, but we understand things happen." It sounded very automated, as if I wasn't speaking to an actual personI cancelled my subscription right away, and I've emailed this place four or five times now concerning my reimbursement for April with no responseThe "gets back to you within hours usually" is a lie, they've never replied back within hoursIt's a horrible way to do customer serviceI'm sure their products are great, but this is absolutely ridiculous and I don't recommend anyone sign upAvoid the hassleSomething that should be so simple is complicated and chaotic

Ipsy has refunded me a portion of what I paid but has not refunded me the total amount

I have been subscribed to ipsy for a total of about monthsDuring this time I have subscribed and I subscribed several times due to not having the money etcand have had no issuesI think that a lot of the issues that people have are due to not ready the faq or familiarizing themselves with ipsy before subscribingOn the website they are very clear about they charge, shipping, the wait list etc, but many people do not fully read this infoI have had no trouble cancelling and when I have had issues with broken products or overdue shipments, and have contacted them, they have gotten back to me right away and provided excellent customer service

Cancelled my subscription over a month ago kept getting emails sayig that my payement for my sept bag didnt go throughemailed them repeatedly to be sure that my account was cancelled was told numerous times it had been....LIARS Woke up this morning and checked my bank account and they took $ out of my account without permission I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE! !! I am soo upset and angry at his [redacted] that I will be tell everyone who will listen to NEVER deal with this company ever again!!!!

I love Ipsy, I have been a member for over a year now & I'm always so excited for my "glam bag" to arrive each monthThe only issue I have is while their "personalization" options are good, they are limited

I am in absolute love with IpsyI have only been a member for a monthsBut don't get me wrong there were a few mishaps on my second and third bagMy second bag came with different samples than the website said I would receiveSo I wrote the ipsy care a message about the problem and sent a picture of the samples I received Ipsy care responded within a hourThey sincerely apologized for the mix upBut to make it even better they sent me a brand new bag with the correct samples and allowed me to keep the wrong ones Within a week I had that new bagOn my second bag I had a broken sampleonce again I wrote ipsy care and they sent me a new sampleIt came within the week of me callingIpsys customer service is amazingThey care about their customersFor only dollars a month which turns into only dollars a sample and a free bag you can't go wrongAfter ipsy showed me their main concern is to take care of their customers, keep me smiling, I decided to sign up for a year and haven't had a problem or mix up sinceIt's sooooo worth itI would recommend this is anyone that wants to try fun and new makeup products, brushes, mud masks, nail polish etcIpsy is here for anyone and everyone who wants to experiment with new/ different/styles of makeupAll my friends and family now have the ipsy glam bag, they love it and also say it is like a little gift to them from them every month!

OkI'm choosing to write this review because I've made now, attempts, THIS TIME, to contact IpsyAt the beginning of the month, I received an email stating they had trouble with my cardSo, I went in and noticed my changes were not savedSo, AGAIN, FOR THE 2ND TIME, I updated my Billing and Shipping AddressesWhen I went today to look at my Tracking email, it was sent to the WRONG ADDRESSI immediately went in and checked my informationTo my surprise, my BILLING was updated, so they could get their $, however, my SHIPPING was NOTWhen I emailed them, I got this [redacted] response that I didn't updateWell, if that were the case, you wouldn't have my new BILLING information! Lol...ALL I'm asking for, is to resend MY bag to my CORRECT address, PROMPTLYI don't think that's too muchThere are PLENTY of other companies for us to go through, most with better products, However, I SUPPORT companies like IpsyTHAT WILL CHANGE if they can NOT or CHOOSE NOT to help their LOYAL customersPlease JUST CALL ME SO YOU CAN FIX MY ADDRESS AND SEND ME MY BAG I PAID FORNOT DOING IT ONLINE WHEN IT HAS FAILED ME TWICE ALREADYPLEASE HELP YOUR CUSTOMERS

I received a damaged product from Ipsy When I sent an email to customer service asking for a replacement or a refund, they stated that they no longer had the product in stock and that they would send me a partial refund which isn't even half of what I actually paid for the product I will not be buying any cosmetics from Ipsy again

Apparently this company does not have a customer service site! I have tried numerous sites trying to cancel my membership and cannot locate a site which offers this optionI tried the phone # given on a site, but all you get is an advertisement about the product, again no option to even speak with someone I find it hard to believe that this kind omittance is not scam relatedIf you have an account , you should not have a problem contacting themI am very upset at the prospect of having to spend more money to issue a stop payment for the monthly charge when I should be able to have them do it at no charge

I have had an account with Ipsy for almost yearsWhile checking my bank account, I noticed that I was charged timesNow having two subscriptions, I know I am supposed to have charges, is excessiveTwo of the charges were cleared but two were still pendingThe first thing I did was call my bank to see if it was an error on their endMy bank told me that the company's system charged me times and to wait for the charges to drop, but the bank will hold on to the money until it doesI contacted Ipsy, which the only way to do that is to tweet them or email themThey basically brushed it off that the charges were dropped and I was only charged twiceThis has never happened in the years that I have been an Ipsy subscriberI would have to wait up to business days to have that money put back into my accountInstead of brushing me by telling me I don't know what I am talking about, an apology would be niceHorrible customer service and I seriously thinking about cancelling my two subscriptions with Ipsy

Signed up for ipsy after seeing an advertisement for no waitlistAfter putting all my information in, including my credit card number, I was put on the waitlistadvertising

Ipsy is a monthly beauty subscription where it's $10/month for five deluxe size or full-size products(In Canadian dollars with shipping it was costing over $20/month but I was still happy)Something happened in June where a lot of bags were not shipped out, I emailed times and got three different excusesFirst they said there was going to be a Canada Post strike so they wouldn't send out bags to Canada, that they would hold them in their warehouse until the strike was overThe last email said there had been a "snafu" in their warehouse and it was accidentally heldThere was NO STRIKE in June and there still isn't oneThey won't send out July's eitherFor all I know, the three bags they owe me don't even existI work super hard for my money and this a treat to myself every monthI'm going to nicely ask them for my approx$back and if I don't get a suitable response, I will file a complaintIt feels like theft or a scam to meI have other subscriptions and had no issues with anything in JuneI know it's not a lot of money, it's the principleI work too hard to have a corporation steal from meI have kept a file of correspondence with them over the past few weeks, so I have a record of their excuses and correctionsA lot of my friends who also subscribe have the same emails, very copy-and-pasted responses

When signing up for Ipsy, I was completing the survey process and received an email that I was successfully signed upAfter I hit submit for my payment information, a new page popped up saying I was "waitlisted," but if I shared their advertisement with my friends on Facebook I would skip the lineEssentially, Ipsy is asking for our free advertising, then they get paid by click if someone chooses then linkIf my friends sign up, they will then get "waitlisted." Nowhere on their site does it say they are having issues keeping up with demandThis is advertising and shameful

I've tried quite a few different beauty boxes now, and nothing else lives up to my Ipsy subscriptionThe amazing quality of the products, the reasonable cost, and the customer service are fantastic, and I'm always impressed with the subscriptionCustomer service is quick to respond and always helpfulIf you're looking for a beauty box, check the Revdex.com reviews, Ipsy is definitely the one to go with
