Hi Danielle, In response to your additional inquiry, yes, we would waive the fee as a one-time courtesy which means we would refund the $reinstatement fee. In regards to your question about receiving paper mail versus emails, we continue to move in the same direction that the industry is moving toward which is electronic. As a result, our main form of communication is email and we also have information that is available via our website. We do not have a paper communication program that would guarantee you would receive all the required information. As I am writing this response, I can see that you have your communication preferences set to receive the newsletters for CAHIIM, Certification emails, and your Component State Association mailings. Plus you are also receiving membership renewal, CEU requirement, and purchase related communicationsDanielle, I’m sorry to hear you have to go through multiple surgeries. We wish you well as you tend to your health. The question that you sent in regards to if you were a member the second year and not the first year, would you still have to pay the $to renew your credentials, the answer to that question would be yes. I am rejecting this response because:The information you have provided me in regards to the books was obviously inconsistant between your website and your employeesIf it were consistant then I would have been provided with the correct information by your staff and we would not be in the current situation that we are now inI do not want a discount, once again, I want to be provided with another authorization to test, which is what I paid forI simply want to take the test.What I don’t want is the same copy/paste response that I have been getting thus farI do not feel there is much customer service when the only way to solve my issue is through emailThe phone number provided me to call by you is employeed by those who “do not have the power” to make any changes to my accountNot only is that the case but the management would dodge my calls and avoid talking to me about my issueThey changed their story on how the policy goes with contacting management multiple times within a monthI have no confidence in what is true when I know the stories have changed over this month.

The List of Allowable Code Books states, in writing, what books can be brought to the testing center which is why that information is listed in our Candidate Guide and is also referenced in the ATT letter that is sent.
