We would like to reiterate what we touched on in one of our previous responses that the customer had asked for the cancellation of his services when there were only 7 months left on his two year contract. We always try to provide the best possible service to our customers and in case they don't like it we respect their decision of whether they want to continue with us or not. We have done the same here and refunded more than half of the money paid to us even though 17 of the total 24 months of the contract had already been used up. We think we have gone well and beyond our refund policies in bringing this close to a closure. That's the best we can do as a business.We sincerely request the BBB to consider the above mentioned points and close this case.ThanksRegards***, iYogi

Dear Revdex.com,Thanks for the notification againWe would like to inform you and the customer that a refund check of $has been dispatched to his address and he should be expecting it to get delivered in the coming few daysWe would also like to add that the customer had originally paid iYogi an amount of $on '***May 2013' for two years of tech support on his computerSo if we calculate it, of the total months on his subscription have already passedWe are still refunding him a huge chunk ( more than half of the amount he paid) in the form of a refund checkThe refund, as always is the case here is calculated on pro rated basis and that's what we have followed here tooWe have respected the customer's decision of terminating his contract with us even though there were only months left in it and in doing so we believe we have gone well and beyond our policies to bring this case to a successful closure.We request the Revdex.com to consider this as our last response on this case and close it.Thank youRegards***, iYogi

Dear [redacted] ,Thanks for the complaint notificationWith regards to this case the complainant states that iYogi tried to charge an unauthorized payment from his debit card.We would like to bring to your attention that we send an email notifying our customers about the auto renewalThe same email has an opt-out option and the auto renewal is carried forward only for the customers who do not opt-outAs we did not receive any response from the complainant so we initiated the automatic renewal charge for his existing subscription with iYogi.We at iYogi respect the customer's decision though, so if the customer doesn't want to renew his subscription and doesn't want anyone from iYogi to call him , we request him to send us the cheque details on hereWe will send him a refund cheque of the amount $We will require the following detailsThe name to be mentioned on the refund chequeThe complete mailing address where the cheque needs to be delivered.Thank YouRegards***, iYogi

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: As we spoke a few days ago, the company (iYogi,com) has still not accepted responsibility for the charge on my accountThey continue to tell me their finance team cannot find the error and the fault lies with my bank, or that I'm not reading the statement correctly and that they have not placed any unauthorized charges on my accountI have spoken to the bank on separate occasions, one of them with an iYogi representative on the phone with me, and each time the bank gives me the same answerThere were two of the same charges applied to my account by the same company and I only authorized one of them This company has begged me to not contact the Revdex.com, and they will again look into this issue but they still have not given me a my money backI simply have no choice but to update this complaint since it doesn't look like I will receive a resolution on this matter at all Could you re-open the complaint and update it with this information please?
