We recently bought our house in MayTwo weeks into moving in, our roof leakedWe filed a claim with our insurance companyIn the time the insurance company sent the check out, our mortgage was sold to PHHWe sent the check to the old company and they then sent the check to PHHIt tool more than a month to receive the old check back from themWe just received the new check for PHH to endorse and they received itWe sent them more paperwork from the builders and when we went to call and see if it was received and if we could get the work started there was another problem with the papersBut if we would not have called them we would have never knownNow it has been about three months and I still have a leaky roof and a giant hole in my ceilingWhen you call them they have no answers to give and put the blame on youWe will see how long it takes to get my house fixed

Mortgage was transferred to another company, by them, not meHowever, they took two additional payments out of my bank account even though they had the transfer dateI called them numerous times and they said they had no record of the payments after the transfer dateMy bank statements showed the money went to themIf they no longer had the account, the money would not have had any where to go! After my last call, the person said they will "look in to it" and that it would take 7-business daysAlso, she told me I would have to call them back to see what they came up withThey will not call me or send a letter stating the outcomeI would say that is bad/terrible customer serviceBased on this experience, I would not recommend using them

Our mortgage company would not accept payment unless in full repeatedlyThey offered us mortgage assistance program which we met every nessesary step while they repeatedly lost our information and claimed we didn't send itMonths went by and the same thing over and over, my wife called this week once again to check the status and was told it was turned over to an attorney for foreclosure without a call or letterWe have a year old son and this is not an option at this point

it took months to get the pmi removed from my loanalso customer service is from the Philippines, sometime difficult to understandAlso the website sucksthey do not like chrome

My wife and I have a ** loan with PHHIn July of this year we had a severe storm in our area which caused extensive damage to multiple buildings in our countyWe had windows broken out and siding/roof damage on our houseWe live in a rural area with few contractors available to do the workWe can probably get someone to do the repairs next summerIn the meantime PHH is holding our insurance claim hostage while we have broken windows, siding and roofI have done many siding and roofing jobs and can certainly replace windowsPHH will not let me do the work and wants a contractorI have windows out like I said and water is entering the houseI owe less than a third of what the house is worth and they fail to see fit to let me fix the house to preserve itWhen contacting them they state I can pay out of pocket and do repairsWhy do I have insurance? So, I can afford to get the repairs done as neededI would never recommend doing business with this companyI have multiple mortgages on investment properties and none of them have treated me as poorly as PHHThey are unreasonable and would rather see the property sustain further damage versus letting me do the repairs I am capable of doing to preserve the property valueI live in Minnesota and winters can be brutalWith broken windows and damaged siding I am sure snow and wind will only add to the damagesI have explained all of this to PHH but they can not think outside of their policiesNo common sense that without repair their value is lessened

I will never give this company another dime once I refinance! Horrid customer service!!!
Long story short I went through a divorce earlier this yearDuring the transition period of picking up my bills coupled with working miles away from home I missed a payment for JanuaryUntil this payment and since this payment I have never been late, in fact I had a 100% on time payment history on every account listed on my credit reportI called and spoke with someone in the appropriate department who gave me instructions on how to apply to have the late payment removedMost places apparently offer this as a one time courtesyI followed instructions to the letter and have sent in all supporting documents times over the past monthsI have received letter back around march that said my report was accuratewell no kidding! We knew that so I tried to send the information again and again and the 4th time with zero luckI just got off the phone with them and now the supervisor is saying there is no department to speak with someone to help meI cant talk to someone who could possibly help because they are not available but somehow I spoke with them beforeI am not going to get started on the actual payment hoops you have to jump through to make a payment or the horrible English these "customer service" reps haveI will never finance with this company again

Won't auto deduct my payments...after yrs -- I tried to add a little principal and now its been hell to pay my mortgageYou talk to different peoplethey give you different stories and its a messNot good customer serviceYou get people in the phillipines mostlyI am very unhappy

Poor customer service, poor communication, unprofessional preparation of documents with careless mistakesBeware because your credit score will be negatively affected by the company's oversights

Why can't I give stars? This is not ***; PHH is the worst company I have ever dealt withLegitimately every time I log on each month to pay my mortgage there website doesn't workIt never loads my loan to my profile and will not let me add itWhat is ever more frustrating is their customer serviceThey suggest the same "solution" every month (to delete my profile and have me create a new one) despite the fact that this response never fixes the problemEssentially this company knows there's nothing you can do to change your mortgage service provider (a process that is difficult, time-consuming, and costly) so they invest literally nothing in customer service or their websiteStay away from this company at all costs!

Case manager Celeste *** NEVER returns phone calls but claims in every letter she’s committed to serving all your needs!!! We entered escrow on our house at exactly the same time she turned us over to a collection attorney even though we provided PHH with the sale agreementThey constantly threatened to foreclose on our home 95% of the way through escrowMy husband had to explain to our case manager what escrow was! She had no ideaSo unqualified and unprofessional and clueless!! I still to this day have no idea what her job wasThe mortgage company shuffled us around on hold and nobody communicatedIt was a terrible experienceThey have no idea what customer service meansI will NEVER do business with this company again

PHH mortgage is by far the worst Mortgage Servicing Company I have ever dealt withDo not use this company...turn and run as fast as you canNothing but a shady company that tries to create debt collection opportunities from its customers

This company is horribleYou Can only deal with reps in Iraq who barely speak English and they constantly call and hang upWhen you request them to stop calling and hanging up you have to fax a request in writingAlso if you need a change of address or any change of info it takes more than years

The servicing on my mortgage was sold to PHH Mortgage a few years ago I was solicited for a refinance by PHH and agreed to move forward, thinking that it would be an easier process with my current lender Mistake The loan was scheduled to close in late February I received the original documentation packet and was asked to return it within days I returned it in five Eight days later I called the loan processor to ask if they'd received it--no response After multiple calls over the next week I contacted the sales rep He forwarded to the processor and asked her to respond to meIt's now late April--the day that my rate lock expires I was set to close this morning, until I received a call from the closing attorney asking if I had the paperwork PHH hasn't sent the closing documents out to the title company or to meSo to summarize--a February closing date turned into a late April closing date (maybe) Throughout there was poor communication, no responsibility taken on the part of the processor, and missed dates Not only will I not do business with this company in the future, I'm tempted to refinance again with someone else to get the loan out of their hands!

I"ve been a customer for PHH mortgage since Until DecI have never missed a single paymentMy payment was late due to PCS in the Army and having to use the funds in order to place a down payment on another residence in TexasI also was late in Jan for the same reason as wellAroud Jan 21st I made my december payment, and the following week around the 28th of Jan I made my JanpaymentI assumed I was all caught up and was then preparing to make my Febpayment until I received a bill in the mail stating that I owed a payment for December, January, and FebruaryI immediately called PHH mortgage around Feb10th once I received the billI was told that the funds that I had sent did not cover all three months and did not include the late fee'sThen I was told because of that reason my funds have been returned and were mailed back to me on Feb3rd, and was told to send a payment back with the full amount, reason being is because they said they do not take partial p

My bad experience started months ago! I knew my PHH mortgage was going to raise the interest rate as I was on a year *** & it was about to endI never had a bad experience until that!! Now in year 6, it has become a nightmareI received a letter in November that my year interest rate was going to change on Feb 1, I should be prepared to pay approximately $but that may not be an exact payment amountI'm okay with thisI sent in that payment the 1st of March w/all my March billsNext came a letter dated March 9, that I now have a suspense balance in the amount of $But my total amount due was $I needed to send in a payment of $to complete my payment April 1st I paid my usual bills, and I sent PHH another $(I wasn't certain I owed any difference at this point)I then get a letter dated April 11, that I have a suspense balance in the amount of $615.81, and the same balance was due of $769.13, and I needed to send an additional $to bring me to current I then received another letter dated Apr22, that tells me I have a suspense balance in the amount of $but that an additional amount of $would complete my paymentSo I sent a check for that amount ($139.38) BUT on Apr20, I spent my lunch hour on the phone, made a payment over the phone of $and when I was done with the CS rep I was under the impression (I even wrote it down) that I was "all caught up now" so to now make my payments for the amount of $starting in MayOf course I am thinking this has been resolvedI started then to receive pre-foreclosure noticesI am also now getting late payment reminders...AND it just kept going on and onThis is not going well! If you could understand the amount of time and calculating I have done since then....I am livid about this whole nightmare! I have been on the phone with a Christina in August, a ***, another person who I didn't write down who told *** *** on a 3-way conversation that lasted an hour in September that apparently the amount I paid over the phone that one day did not get posted!! That conversation terminated on their end (PHH) without any resolveNobody called me backI called yet again a few weeks later to see if anything had been resolved on my behalf and I was told the person was no longer with the company and that I could talk with a supervisor, Jessica *** or my case MGRChanning *** I have put calls in to them telling them they can reach me on Fridays and Saturdays (my days off), left voicemails, and have not received any replyToday (Dec 23, 2016) I got hung up on and I also was told I was rude! To this day I am supposedly late on my December paymentNOT TRUE!
I am awaiting a resolve to this once and for all and it needs to get handled by this years' endThank You, ***

I applied to refinance my mortgage in JuneI have had contact by phone and email since then and documents were requested and I provided themI recently received a letter in the mail that the company regrets that I have decided not to follow through with refinancingI called them because that is not the caseWhen I called, a representative looked through my file and saw that the underwriters had requested a document, but no one ever communicated that with meThey have now cancelled my application because requested documentation was not providedMy request to continue refinancing was elevated to a supervisor and I was told I would have to reapply at this timeThey also state they are charging me a fee because I did not complete the refinanceI have email documentation from their representative stating that this is what has happenedThat representative also found the documentation that was requested in my file and stated so
