PHH is the worst mortgage company from a processing viewpointThey make mistakes, then you have to call what appears to be the Philippines to try to get their data entry errorIt takes multiple calls, long delays in doing the work while they are very politeI suggest that you escalate to the supervisor to get actionWhile I did not acquire this mortgage from PHH, I would never want a mortgage transferred to PHH for processingThis is a company that does not deserve to be in this business

They are the worse mortgage companyThey never return emails, or voicemail, they lose paperwork so you end up having to resend itDefinitely not in a hurryIt's been months and we still haven't closed.I will never use them again

This was my first mortgage everMy family's first home, a year into owning it we hit several roadblocks that hurt us financiallyWhile we have received some letters that some would consider scary, their representatives have always been happy to work with us, in a friendly and understanding wayAs a customer I haven't always been the best, but they have gone out of their way on several occasions to put our minds at easeAt this time, I am happy with the service we have received from PHHKeeping a clear line of communication goes a long way with them

BY FAR THE WORST ACCESS TO A CUSTOMER SERVICE MATTER I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED CSR'S SPEAK BROKEN ENGLISH, HARD TO UNDERSTAND AND ASKED TO SPEAK TO SOMEONE I COULD UNDERSTAND MORE CLEARLY WAS PUT ON HOLD, THEN AUTOMATICALLY HUNG UP ON ME THIS HAPPENED TWICE, NOW ON HOLD A THIRD TIME WAIT TIME WENT FROM MINUTE TO MINUTESI SEE MOST PEOPLE HAVE HAD BAD EXPERIENCE WITH THIS COMPANY THEY ALL MUST HAVE WORKED AT COUNTRYWIDE IN THE PAST

I applied to refinance my mortgage in JuneI have had contact by phone and email since then and documents were requested and I provided themI recently received a letter in the mail that the company regrets that I have decided not to follow through with refinancingI called them because that is not the caseWhen I called, a representative looked through my file and saw that the underwriters had requested a document, but no one ever communicated that with meThey have now cancelled my application because requested documentation was not providedMy request to continue refinancing was elevated to a supervisor and I was told I would have to reapply at this timeThey also state they are charging me a fee because I did not complete the refinanceI have email documentation from their representative stating that this is what has happenedThat representative also found the documentation that was requested in my file and stated so

On Jan 20, I started the process to refinance my mortgage Since 1/my new lender has requested a Verification of Mortgage and month pay history from PHH Even though I have signed an Authorization allowing the new lender access to this information, PHH has given them the run around for two weeks I have also had to make several calls to PHH and been put on hold for 10-minutes As of 2/only the pay history has been received however it contains many posting error due to PHH not posting my payments accurately and timely The Verification of Mortgage has still not been received I have made additional calls to PHH to try and resolve the problems with my month pay history but I continue to get the run around and no one can help me I have been referred to many different department within the organization and finally put a call into the Liaison at the Office of the President At this point I am still waiting to hear back from them This has been a frustrating experience and at this point is jeopardizing my ability to refinance my loan with a new lender

it took months to get the pmi removed from my loanalso customer service is from the Philippines, sometime difficult to understandAlso the website sucksthey do not like chrome

I purchased my house through another lender who then sold the loan to PHH Their services are totally sub-par, for example the only way to pay your bill without incurring a ridiculous fee is to auto debit a checking accountI had no major issues with the execution of their services but I never fell behind on my paymentsHowever PHH has since turned around and sold my loan to another lender This isn't unusual except that they gave me NO NOTICE that this was occurringI received some emails from the new lender, but as I never received any communication from PHH these seemed like fraud or phishing attempts so I didn't take them seriously and made a note to follto find out if they were legitimateMy first inkling that this transfer was legitimate came when I received my first statement from the new lender - this had me understandably worried that perhaps someone else was taking out loans in my nameI got to the bottom of it, but I am very upset with PHH Their lack of care and handling of my loan was unacceptable and given any choice I would never do business with them

Andy *** is awfulHe gave my wife and myself a pre-approvalWe spent $on inspections for the house, and literally a day before the seller could accept our final offer, he pulls the loan backTerrible peopleDo NOT use these people!!

How on earth do you give this company an A- rating? Have you read the Yelp Reviews?
https://www.yelp.com/biz/phh-mortgage-mount-laurel-2?hrid=y-R-XfvD8VP91nY9jt4usQ... /> I am beginning to question the objectivity of the Revdex.com in New JerseyBut again...this would not be any big supprise

Our original *** was through *** which was subsequently serviced by PHH MortgageWe've had this loan for many yearsEver since PHH took over servicing this loan, it's been a negative experienceThe few times we needed any help, the customer service gives you the run around and the simplest request evolves into a drawn out nightmare! Currently all I need for my lawyer is confirmation the account is frozen and they refuse to generate a simple letter stating thatAnd when you ask them why, the answer is a sarcastic, "well you voluntarily froze it" which to me makes no sense to meIt was their own rep that instructed me to fax over the request, when I told her what I neededBesides are they telling me if I had involuntarily froze it (perhaps by not paying?) PHH would be happy to issue that letter?

My mortgage was sold last month to PHH Mortgage without my consent or knowledgeI did not find out that my mortgage had been transferred until after my monthly payment was already due (I previously had automatic debit payments set up to pay my monthly mortgage)I have tried to now set up either a payment by phone, a one time payment online, or a monthly automatic debit online to pay my mortgageAfter separate phone calls to PHH's India based customer service phone line, PHH will accept a payment by phone for an additional service fee of $PHH will accept a one time online payment for an additional service fee of $PHH's website has been functionally unable to setup automatic monthly recurring payments (hence the calls to customer service in India)My only option for paying my mortgage and avoiding an additional service fee at this point is paying by check by mailThis company is horrible

One of the worst customer experiences I've ever seenTheir website sucks, trying to call them is worse – you have to talk to a chat bot for 7-mins before even getting a chance to speak with an agentThen, they ask you the same questions that the bot just asked youOnce you get on phone with somebody, it's nearly impossible that they can help you or answer your questionsDo not willingly choose them as a mortgage service provider!

I"ve been a customer for PHH mortgage since Until DecI have never missed a single paymentMy payment was late due to PCS in the Army and having to use the funds in order to place a down payment on another residence in TexasI also was late in Jan for the same reason as wellAroud Jan 21st I made my december payment, and the following week around the 28th of Jan I made my JanpaymentI assumed I was all caught up and was then preparing to make my Febpayment until I received a bill in the mail stating that I owed a payment for December, January, and FebruaryI immediately called PHH mortgage around Feb10th once I received the billI was told that the funds that I had sent did not cover all three months and did not include the late fee'sThen I was told because of that reason my funds have been returned and were mailed back to me on Feb3rd, and was told to send a payment back with the full amount, reason being is because they said they do not take partial p

Our mortgage was sold to themI would NEVER use them We tried applying for assistance they make it impossible for you to submit paperwork as they ask repeatedly for same documentWe also got out payment sent back to us and we're unable to cash it at our bank because they made the check out to themselves Beware as they are a predatory lender!

For the past few months we have been anticipating our last house payment on August 1st, We were planning upon celebrating No call from PHH Mortgage in Mount Laurel, New Jersey as we approached this milestone ***out a single late paymentWe looked on our original paperwork showing all the payments you will make until hell freezes over and sent the slightly smaller final amount A month passes and no Congratulations letter or phone call from PHH MortgageWe call themWe were told that the account was in arrears because the final payment was $shortAlthough they had the final payment check for $2,they decided to hold it because of the shortageAnd you can guess…they charged us interest and penalties on the entire amountWe told them where the sunshine is the brightestBecause of our stellar payment history we were told we were entitled to one late paymentI guess this is as much congratulations PHH Mortgage can musterOh well, some folks aren’t good at giving complimentsThe next day we get another call from a representative at PHH MortgageHe had no idea of the above conversation and told us our payment (they were holding) was lateTwo more additional conversations resulted in Late Fee: $121.06, Satisfaction Fee: $21.50, Demand Fee: $30.00, Recording Fee: $I am not satisfied….can I get a return for the satisfaction fee? Why the demand fee? They always had the check? They say they are going to refund the late interest fee because they are presumably so happy *** our stellar payment history I don’t think I’ll hold my breathOur original loan was sold to PHH Mortgage by *** ***Talk about being sold down the river to the wolvesThank-you *** ***I’d like to send you a gift but I cannot find any physical locationOh, wait, upon closer inspection I learned you are a subsidiary (read a front to avoid the bad reviews) of PHH Mortgage I would have *** *** ** *** *** *** *** *** after I looked at the horrendous reviews from the Revdex.com-New Jersey, *** and a plethora of customer rating web sitesGoogle PHH MortgageIt’s amazing they are still in business!
Perhaps you could thank your local congressional *** who made it possible for companies like PHH/*** *** to existHas the Attorney General *** *** in New Jersey been on extended vacation? Perhaps they made him a deal he can’t refuse Either way…stay clear of these folks

I gave a star as their is no In January we sent four checks one for Jan Feb March April, each check had the month it was to pay written on it.They applied checks to principalWe called and they said it would be correctedthey did correct checks but not the thirdI have spent hours speaking to people in India who said it would be taken care ofToday after hanging up on me twice I was advised its now to late nothing can be done after six monthsThese people are undertrained can only read whats on their computerThey hung up when I tried to explain we had sent more money than we oweDo not get involved with them if you have any way not to

Worst company to work withThe customer service reps do not know anything and not able to answer any questionsEvery rep has told me something different about PMI removal

I had my mortgage with HSBC and HSBC outsourced their mortgage services to PHH and that's when the nightmare beganThey are horrible I had so much problem with them regarding to my monthly mortgage payment I was so fed up with them that I decided to pay off my mortgage loan so I don't have to deal with them anymore I paid of my loan in Nov and I am still waiting for my deed First they screwed up the recording payment so my Satisfactions of Mortgage document was never recorded I called multiple times and all customer services told me to be patient because the county clerk's office is back up I decided to stop my county clerk's office to get some info in May and found out that they submitted the paper with the incorrect recording fees I called again and again (probably 10x times) and around Oct one of the agents told that they had just re-submitted the paper work I check the clerk's office's website on a weekly basis and it was recorded in Dec I was happy for a second til I realized that the block and lot # that was submitted with the paper was incorrect It was a property that I don't even own I called again and again to tell them to correct this mistake They kept telling that this is an easy fix and it should be fixed soonFast forward to months and calls later and it is till not fixed I can't believe how can a company that claimed that they are the EXPERT in mortgage services is so bad I can't believe how they can make a mistake after anotherThe craziest thing is that no one at PHH knew what went wrong I am not in the mortgage or real estate industry and I am the person that I figured the mistakes

Lied about mailing $refund for escrow overpayment
