Service Technician Mike J was on time for a preventive maintenance inspectionHe did a great job and let me know what was going on

Mike J[redacted] did a great job. I am not happy with the charge but have heat.

Mike J[redacted] did a great job servicing our furnaces. He called prior to arriving and even waited for me since I was coming home from work and was running a bit behind. He was very friendly, courteous and professional. He patiently answered all my questions and provided easy to understand explanations of how my furnaces were operating. He was very thorough and resolved issues that other technicians have over looked. He made a very positive impression for his company which led me to sign up for an annual service plan.

The consumer stated that the complaint has been resolved.

requested a refund for you after you earlier letter as well as a follow up
call, unfortunately that did not happen. We are immediately refunding your

also wanted to take a moment to explain what happened with the
HVAC equipment in your garage, from our perspective.   As you are
aware, working on this unit yourself and replacing parts prior to you placing
the call with James River, these are complex machines and each has there
own characteristics.  Each year the manufacturer makes
intricate changes that have to be kept up with in the service
department.    On 7/1/15 while we were working on the garage unit we contacted LG at
1-888-865-3026 and talked to Chris at LG, case # [redacted] (all
on our phone records and LG records).  Mod# [redacted]  ser#
[redacted].  At this point we followed directions from the manufacturer
. We had spent 3 3/4 Hours on site per the phone records with LG and our global
position system on our truck.  We called back that week and left
messages.  You were on vacation per Van Blick (our service
tech).  Approximately one week later you called back and were given
the quote to replace 3 sensors on 7/9/15 .   At this point we didn't communicate until the e-mail was sent Nov 8th.  I
apologize once more that we didn't get the problem resolved and am giving
you a full refund for $332.00.  You will find the check in your front door

The service provider from James River, Fred K[redacted], spent considerable time with us showing us how we could improve the air conditioning in one of our rooms. He was knowledgeable, patient, and well spoken.

We have used James River for a few years now and are very pleased with their knowledge, skill and professionalism. I request the same technician each time due to our old, cranky system, and I am certain that J T will stretch out the life of our system due to his meticulous expertise.

I am PR Chair of a non-profit in Huntsville and contacted JR Enterprises (the person I dealt with was [redacted]), to make shirts for us. We provided the logo and Mr. [redacted] was consistently unresponsive to phone messages and did not follow through on a promise to provide a picture and quote for an order of 50 t-shirts. We are going with another company.

We have a very precise protocol in place on heat exchanger cracks and work VERY hard to make sure we are correct when we make a diagnostic of this type.  Our protocol is to verify these issues with 2 parties.  We would NEVER condemn a system that was not in need of it.  I have attached a file photo of the crack detected.  From the picture it appears pretty serious to me.
 
I believe our technician Sarah and supervisor Bryan worked with your wife and they are both wonderful honest people and I cannot imagine them ever willfully and intentionally fabricating this problem.  As for the business, my dad started the company 50 years ago and we built it on integrity and the Golden rule.  I am an Eagle scout and deeply involved in the day to day operations and we would NEVER knowingly and fraudulently condemn a system.  Have we made mistakes, certainly, we always make them right as we would if we found out that has happened here.
 
We are humans and we are not perfect but we certainly work for 100 percent perfection on matters like this.  At this point I am willing to look at any and all pathways to bring this matter to a mutually beneficial closure.
 
I would like to suggest the following action plan:
 
-Let’s review data
-Have my service manager verify crack and this picture
-review current furnace status
-discuss next actions
 
Again, we will work with you in any way possible to resolve this matter.

Found the service was courteous and knowledgeable.

I would recommend James River Air Conditioning, they are always on time and very nice. I had problems with my unit that is just a little over a year old. They came out and it was a manufacturing problem, that was going to cost quite a bit to fix, but Brian C. called his boss Tom and they waived the fee, I just had to pay the service fee of $98.00. I also use them for plumbing problems this past winter. Only thing I would warn about is the Lenox Unit, not sure of model number, but there is another manufacturing problem with this unit.

I have been a long time James River Air customer and today I had JD stop by for my preventive maintenance service. He was extremely thorough and took his time to make sure everything was working perfectly! He answered all my questions so that I would understand and was extremely kind and courteous. I would definitely recommend him to work on your hvac system.

Great customer service. Provided us with all options. Did a great job.

I have been using JRAC for years and they have the most professional and technical technicians forHeat pumps etc. I would recommend them to anyone. Mark C. Is a technician who is very knowledgeable.

James River AC always makes the appointments on time. They repaired my unit very quickly and did not leave until all was corrected. The tech explained all repairs to me.

James River AC promptly replied to my request for service. Mike J spent time inspecting the components of my AC unit, brainstorming possible causes of the problem and Explaining the remedies. Mike explained the situation to my husband by phone. Mike gets 5 out of 5 stars!

I recently had the units in my house serviced by Gus D[redacted] of James River Air. Gus was personable, professional, and thorough with his work. He indicated other services being offered by James River Air such as plumbing, electrical work, and installation of surge protectors. I found his attention to detail to be excellent.

Mike J[redacted] did a great job (yearly service on our furnace/ac and heat pump). He advised that a furnace repair would be required within a year, but could be done during his visit as a preventative measure - I appreciated the choice.
