My technician, Mark C[redacted], was quick, efficient and professional. he explained everything to me in plain English and was totally awesome.

Happy with maintenance service. On time, clean and professional.

Had a great session with Crig who serviced my units and cleaned them. He was polite, pleasant, efficient and helpful. I would like to have him back again.

Mike J. was very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Very satisfied with James River Air ever since getting our new heat pumps and maintaining our service with them.

Excellent service for short notice and on a Sunday morning. Problem solved

J. T. was prompt, efficient and knowledgeable. He ID the problem and made the necessary repairs in less than 15 minutes.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that:

I am satisfied with the response in that the company came out and verified what the issue is. What I remain dissatisfied with is how they went about it.
They were able to verify the issue within minutes, and described the problem as easy to diagnose and common in older units. What they didnt attempt to explain is why it took two previous technicians a total of 1 hour to misdiagnose on the first visit and then 2.5 hours to diagnose on the second visit, something that is "simple to diagnose".
Additionally, rather than offer to repair the unit, and repair the customer business relationship Tom requested that all customer relationship ties be cut and that I simply not call upon their business again and find someone else to make the repairs, now that I the customer knew what the problem was.
I personally feel like a lot of time was spent by the company angrily justifying their employees work rather than addressing the real need to repair the system and to interact with the customer in a way the promoted a future relationship. And being that such was the case rather than cap uncapped wires, they were left open and described as acceptable, rather than neaten work, it was analyzed and pushed back to its location, described as satisfactory. And rather than offer a solution satisfactory to the customer the business' response was take your money back and don't ask for our help. Maybe from surprise, disbelief and shock at their choice of actions I was left somewhat speechless and agreed that this was likely the best solution.
I don't recall every being treated this way by a company and I guess its to my benefit to not deal with the likes of them again.

James River First class in doing PM's to my Heating/AC units

Nice man. Courteous. Appeared to be thorough.

We had to have our heat pump replaced. We have used James River before and have been happy with them. Craig came to replace the heat pump. He came when scheduled and took care of the installation. He was professional and courteous. The system is working as it should. I know if there should be a problem I can call James River and they will resolve the issue.

James River Air Conditioning has been taking care of our unit for the past 16 years. We have always been pleased with the service. Mike J., our technician for today was very friendly, efficient, and professional. He explained all of the results very clearly.

James River is an excellent company. They take a personal interest in your systems and home. Mike J[redacted], the service representative, was great!

To say that my attempted employment with JRA was lacking would be an understatement. I was told that JRA would be holding classes strictly for women who were interested in getting into the HVAC field. I took these classes with the knowledge confirmed by the HR department and another supervisor that this class would help us get trained in learning the basics of HVAC. Upon the end of the class, we then told that there were only two positions available and that we would be interviewing. I was taken aback because this information was with held from us. During the interview process, the fact that I had a bachelor's degree was sneered upon and I was asked "with all this education behind you, why would you want to get into HVAC?" Since when did an abundance of education make a person unqualified especially when this is what people are looking for today.
When I received my rejection email, I was informed that I had applied for another position entirely, Residential Service Technicians which was not at all what I had been told that the class was going to prep us for. Why would I apply for an advanced position when I just completed the basic course to be a helper with a Preventative Maintenance Technician, wherein I was told that I would need two months experience before taking the test to become refrigerant certified. I replied with an email back and have yet to hear back from JRA.
Such practices are incoherent at best and manipulative at worst.

There are not enough good words for me to write about JRAC. They are the best!! I called at 7:30 am with a problem and now at 2:00 pm on the same day, the problem is solved. The technician, Hein B. Was great. He explained every step of the repair and went out of his way to get parts.

Kyle D., from James River Air-Conditioning, came to my home yesterday to repair my water leak in my water line that runs into our refrigerator/freezer. I actually requested for Kyle to come because I had used him previously and been very pleased with his service. He is polite, explains to me (in words that I understand) the problem, the cost to repair, locates the repair parts and then when he can return to repair. Kyle was quick to diagnose the problem but most importantly he repaired my appliances perfectly so obviously he really knows what he's doing!!! Again yesterday, after kindly picking up the part, he had my refrig. water line repaired to working order in no-time.

Mike J[redacted] was the service representative who came. Our heatpump had completely stopped working. He identified the problem quickly, and replaced the thermostat. Mike is extreamly professional and knowledgeable about the mechanics and technology involved in today's heating/cooling systems.

excellent performance by mike j[redacted] and performance of a/c super

I think they are overpriced and always trying to sell something. I believe their service techs must get a commission on what they sell

My technician, Mark C[redacted], was quick, efficient and professional. he explained everything to me in plain English and was totally awesome.

Excellent service. Professional and knowledgeable. On time. Neat. Efficient.
