James River AC promptly replied to my request for service. Mike J spent time inspecting the components of my AC unit, brainstorming possible causes of the problem and Explaining the remedies. Mike explained the situation to my husband by phone. Mike gets 5 out of 5 stars!

Outstanding, Professional Service. Service Specialist (Mike J[redacted]) arrived exactly on time, came out late in the day (6:30pm), quickly identified the problem, had parts available, fixed the problem quickly. I could not ask for a better experience.

Mike J[redacted] did a great job (yearly service on our furnace/ac and heat pump). He advised that a furnace repair would be required within a year, but could be done during his visit as a preventative measure - I appreciated the choice.

Mark C. serviced our 2 year old HVAC system that James River installed. There were a few minor issues with the system and Mark took the time to be sure all were fully addressed. The system is working perfectly now. James River did the right thing and covered this service call under the system warranty.

Seems to be very honest and professional. The representatives gained my trust after discussing some concerns with them. They fixed the problem and offered a discount. The technician was very helpful and answered all of my questions. I WILL be telling others about my experiences.

There are not enough good words for me to write about JRAC. They are the best!! I called at 7:30 am with a problem and now at 2:00 pm on the same day, the problem is solved. The technician, Hein B. Was great. He explained every step of the repair and went out of his way to get parts.

Sarah and Mark were both great! Sarah came out the first day and found the leak which two other companies claimed wasn't possible to find. Even though it took her hours to do so, she did it! She then got us an estimate within minutes and arranged for Mark to come two days later and fix it. Mark was prompt, courteous and detail-oriented. Sarah was extremely knowledgable and very thorough (obviously!). We were impressed by the professionalism of the entire company, and so relieved to finally be done with all the substandard companies we had tried to work with (and whom had botched the installation to begin with).

James River AC always makes the appointments on time. They repaired my unit very quickly and did not leave until all was corrected. The tech explained all repairs to me.
