We have thoroughly looked into this situationWe see that [redacted] signed a month VIP membership contract on March , Listed on [redacted] contract was the option to have a month free Boot Camp trial, and if we do not receive a cancellation he will be billed monthly for this added serviceThe contract specifically "Yes, I'd like to try Boot Camp for FREE for 1-month, I understand that at the end of my FREE 1-month trial period that Boot Camp will be automatically added to my Dues starting on month #of my Membership at the discounted rate of $additional per month (reg$60) and that as a Special Bonus my $Boot Camp Processing Fee will be waivedI also understand that I can cancel Boot Camp at anytime by simply submitting a support ticket at myworkout worldcom and if I cancel before my FREE 1-month trial ends I will not be charged at all."We did not receive a cancellation from [redacted] until December when he emailed our customer service teamAt this time there is no refund dueWe of course only want happy members, so due to [redacted] confusion we are allowing him to have free months of Boot Camp that he can begin when he wishes!

Since no cancellation was received via certified/registered mail for her membership, her account remained active. Due to no payment being received, [redacted] 's account was sent to... collections on 2/25/13 for $258.28. We greatly apologize for the bad experience [redacted] had with the representative from the collections company, as that is never how WOW would treat their former current or future members. Please know that this debt is valid, and if [redacted] would like we can send her proof of her account. Due to the bad experience, we have made the exception to clear [redacted] 's debt and pull her out of collections immediately. We hope that this helps, and if [redacted] is looking for a health club in the future she keeps WOW in mind!

I joined JS and was told I would only have to pay &9.99 a month. I said Ok, Great. Then after 2 months, I found out I have to move out of state where there is no JS. I went to the desk & explained what was going on. The girl at the desk took my key tag and said, Your all set, You membership has been canceled.

Then I look at my bank statement and JS took out $63.95.I was never told there was a $53 membership fee.

I DO NOT recommend anyone to go there.

I am rejecting this response because:
Work out world is omising the fact that I was charged an additional $299.00+$25.00=$+ monthly membership agreement for total charge of $on Nivember 3rd, 2014, the reason stated is according to their policy & my original membership agreement of February 12, This was a penalty for disputing charges for personal training sessions, which I ONLY USED yes just & not to be clear to WOW! This is a penalty charge for disputing the charges ADDITIONAL CHARGE! Therefore I will not accept this as a resolution, once again I was injured in the one unsatisfactory session & fear further harm with their personal training sessions I am an active member who wishes to continue working out at my own pace once my sutures are removed from my back & shoulders. 1- im appealing to WOW to please release me from this obligation for personal training & refund my $fee minus the session that I used ( despite the fact that is was never complete).2- please remove the additional $+ $25=$penalty according to membership agreement, according to WOW & additionally charged on 11/3/14.3- Release me from this membership if unwilling to resolve the above problem & refund my remaing months of pay $26/month thank you for your assistance to resolve this matter, I really appreciate Revdex.com help, I hope WIW acts in good faith to fix this problem instead of just addressing issue as they historically have done & cause further frustration preventing me from belt icing in the process of negotiation Does WOW have all the rights? If so this process is futile! I will hold true to my faith in justice & fairness & reason & compassion!

cancellation request registered/certified mail you receive a receipt This receipt is your proof that your cancellation request was submitted and received - thus removing any questions whatsoever regarding when your request was made All memberships are continual until a cancellation has been submittedHowever, we do not normally do this, but we will make an exception for ** *** and clear him of his debt of $which will allow us to remove him from collectionsWe hope this helps him out, and when he is looking for a health club in the future he keeps WoW in mind!
