Hi there We apologize for any inconvenience. We simply got super busy during the holidays.  Receiving orders pretty much every minute of the day  hold us back from processing the orders in a timely manner so we do apologize for the delay. At this point I have checked on your package...

This is a high maintenance customer, she's basically just trying to get free items by claiming the jewelry is not of value, the jewelry is OF VALUE that is how our whole business model works. The minimum retail value piece of ALL OUR JEWELRY is $10 so once again shes just trying to pull a fast one...

on us and get to keep the product as well as get a refund. That is not fair and not going to happen, we have MANY CUSTOMERS especially this time of the year try to pull this stuff on us and it's not right. We know we can't make everyone happy but we have thousands of customers over the years but always takes a few bad ones to ruin it all.... hope this explains this issue if you have any more questions please contact us. [redacted]Director of Retail Merchandising

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to [redacted] and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
[redacted]Company is claiming that their product is not guaranteed to contain a piece of jewelry.  Please see attached screen shot of their product page, with product description stating THREE times that candle received will contain a MYSTERY SCENT with a MYSTERY PIECE OF JEWELRY. There is no mention of the potential of receiving a $2 bill or anything else in lieu of jewelry.  The word "Mystery" does not cancel out the main descriptive details in the product summary.  Further, company has still not changed their description and intentionally left if deceptive for future patrons despite my request to correct their product description.  Also see attached photo of candle with label itself stating it is  a "jewelry candle" with "a hidden jewel inside every candle".  This a bait and switch tactic and a company with low integrity.
