First off, let me start by saying I purchased this as a gift for a family member. I purchased the TV over 2 1/2 weeks before the SuperBowl and chose your site because you priced the same model as Best Buy, Frys, etc about $600 below their sticker price. As soon as I read through the features and saw that the TV includes the same extras as the Big Brand stores, I purchased the TV.

I received a call the next morning by a pushy, fast-talking salesperson who immediately told me that I should pay a $399 upgrade so I can get the TV that's made in Mexico verses the one that's made in China, which is apparently what I bought. I was told it has better color, quality, more panels, etc and after a few hesitations, John the salesman gave me an extra $49.99 off that 399. So I reluctantly agreed because that's what I wanted in the first place. I was told at the time of that sale that John, the salesperson, would throw in a HDMI Cable and the wall mount. Also, even though it comes with "free shipping", I was told that I should get the "white glove shipping" which gets it there in a "week" and they bring the TV inside and check it out right in front of you and its an extra $100. Since I wanted them to get the TV before SuperBowl, still 2 1/2 weeks away, I reluctantly agreed to that as well. I felt cheated and pissed when I got off the phone as now all the savings that I saved by not going down the street to Best Buy were gone.

I checked my charges in the email they sent me the next day and there was an $89 "shipping protection fee that they didn't even tell me about and they charged me more than the total he quoted me at the end of our call by that $89 and another $50!!! I called back and the guy tells me "oh yeah, the system wouldn't let me reduce the price of that TV" So I angrily told asked him what made him think he could charge me for an amount over what we agreed on? To which he replied, I'll take $40 off the shipping charges. At this point I was extremely frustrated and just accepted the deal and hung up.

A week and a half goes by and no word about my TV delivery, no tracking information, nothing. So I called and asked where my TV was, to which the woman in the delivery department told me I should wait until 8 business days and call back. So of course that day rolls around and still nothing. I called and they proceed to tell me they will call the delivery driver and see where it is and call me back. I don't hear anything for a day so I call back and they say "oh well it seems that it won't be there in the window we said so we'll refund the remaining white glove shipping charges of $59" So I try to explain to the woman that they will actually have to refund me the full $99 since the $40 refund they gave me was because the salesman overcharged me on my TV based on our agreement. She reluctantly agrees but I only get a refund notification of $50. I take a couple deep breaths and just accept that I'm actually getting screwed.

If it weren't bad enough, another week goes by with no word on my TV. I call again and talk to the same lady and have to explain the entire situation again because this must happen often enough to where she's forgotten each and every conversation we've had in the past about this nightmare order. So after I ask where my TV is, she says that she will call the delivery driver and call me back. I wait for about 4 hours and don't hear back and finally call her back. She says that it should be delivered within a week. At this point I was so fed up with these guys that I requested my entire order be cancelled. I noticed that online at Best Buy, the TV is actually cheaper than what I spent at Joes so I requested a full cancel and was very disappointed with their service. The woman from delivery starts to negotiate with me and saying that she'll give back $90 for the shipping and handling charges. I tell her that I also want the rest of my "white glove" shipping charges returned to me, another $50, to which she replies, we already gave you $90 back for the shipping. I took a deep breath and tried to explain to her that we talked about this numerous times already and $40 of the $90 refund they already gave me was because they overcharged me on the TV and he couldn't pull that refund off the TV so he gave it to me off the shipping, so technically I'm still owed $49 from the "white glove" shipping. She literally started arguing with me and telling me that I'm wrong and I don't understand the math. . . . I'm in f[redacted] corporate finance and have been for about 10 years. I've never been more disgusted with someone in customer service. I could not get it through her head that I was still owed money for that shipping charge. I told her that I'm appalled at how this order was handled and would like a full refund on everything. She told me it's $130 to restock the TV and I told her that's fine. She finally said ok I'll give you a $150 refund and it will be there in a few days. I was so mentally and emotionally drained after dealing with these people that I finally agreed.

The TV arrived and it worked fine, but guess what. As if these guys couldn't possibly screw up any worse, they forgot to include my "free wall mount" that they so graciously included when they called and upsold me. My jaw almost hit the floor. How can a company be so incompetent and still be in business? I called the same woman and she never even apologized, for this situation or any of the prior issues I had. She just said "it went out after the deliver driver told us it wasn't included, it'll be there Thursday". We had to buy another one at Best Buy and use that because we couldn't have a 65" TV sitting on the floor for a week while they shipped that wall mount.

I've never had a worse customer experience in my life than with Joe's AV. Hoping nobody ever has to go through the situation that I did.

I have been shopping at Joes for years and its one of the best stores in the city! I trust them and love it there! It's the only Projector/Tv store I shop at!

I ordered a new Sony 65 inch tv. I got the best price around, had no problems with delivery and the tv arrived in perfect condition. I see negatives posted here, but I had no problems at all.

Horrible customer service and shipping!!!

The website clearly indicates free shipping for the TV, but come to find out they still charge you for shipping. They try to bait and switch you. First they advertise that they are indicating that they are going to include a wall mount but the seller will try to switch it out for a 4k hmdi cable. I thought I was saving a few hundred dollars by choosing to go with them, but they somehow factored in over $250 of shipping into the order which in turn made it the same price as in buying it from amazon.

Shipping - After my account has been charged for the tv's, I had called to check on the status of them. The seller would reassure me that they have been shipped already, but their website would say that it was still processing. 10 days after my account had been charged, the tv's were finally shipped according to their website. The tracking number that they had provided me with was not found in the database of the shipping company that they have used. 2 days later the shipping company had updated the tracking to being shipped with an estimated delivery date of 2 weeks. That would be a total of over 3 weeks I would have to wait to recieve my tv's. I had called them to tell them I wanted to cancel my order and told them the reason was it was taking too long for the whole process. The seller then started to disrespect me verbally so I just hung up the phone and contacted my credit card company.

Never ever will I do business with or recommend this company. Horrible customer service. Slow shipping. False Advertisement.

The advertised a VERY low price for a 85 inch television. I purchased the television, they called me and tried to upsell me to a different one. I said no, I wanted to the one that was advertised and then they never shipped it. I called once or twice every week for two months and each time they were very curt stating it would be one to two more weeks. I kept calling and they kept saying just to wait. I finally called back and just canceled the order. They then called me repeatedly and promised to ship it right away, I said fine, ship it. THEY NEVER SHIPPED IT! I kept calling back and now they have just ignored my calls. Blows my mind! They have jerked me around for over two months. Terrible experience!

I feel it was just a bait and switch

I ordered a TV that claimed to ship within 24 hours. I had to call them to confirm an order, they tried to upsell me, which I refused. Claimed 28 business day delivery while website still claims 24 hour shipping months later.

I waited the 28 days, then emailed them and received no response. I called and was given no information, but was told I would be called back when they figured out what was up. I called them back 5 days later and they said it was stuck in customs. Maybe that's true, but why wouldn't they have called me about that?

I cancelled my order and I pray they are not selling my credit card information to a criminal.

A replacement tv was sent and received on 10/5 the customer is happy

Always so helpful and quick to respond to emails. Everyone who works here is an expert and they always have an answer to your questions. I've purchased two LG 55 tvs from joe's and highly recommend their services. Perfect shopping experience!

First, I'd like to say I'm so glad I found Joe's by accident. Then when I began to browse your site I found me a great 75" TV deal. I thought to myself now I have to do the hard part which is to check out to make payment. But to my surprise, I was excited to find out it was as easy as 1-2-3! I shop frequently on line and I have to admit that this is the best checkout site. Not once did I have any trouble on this site.

This order was cancelled and refunded on 10/19

The Store Everyone Can Depend On.

Quality, Knowledge, Availability, Shipping, Customer Service, Prices are Superior and Beyond Reproach.

We ordered a TV online that was about $100 less than anywhere else. About four days later they called saying it would be an additional $199 for shipping but they would discount it to $169. They then tried to bait and switch to a more expensive product. We told them to cancel our order several times when he finally hung up. Another person from the store called back a few minutes later trying to get us to keep our order. We might have to get our credit card company involved at this point.

This company is a SCAM! First, they have advertised prices online that are usually way below other sellers prices, and also offer free shipping. After you place your order, and go through the check out process, which includes entering your name, address, email address, credit card information, phone number, etc., then you almost immediately get a call telling you they don't ship to your state! If they don't ship to my state, then why was my state in the drop down pick to choose when entering my shipping address?

Very good prices usually among the lowest you'll find but the service and great service keeps me coming back. Give them a try !

I placed my order of 3 Samsung 75" TVs online Monday July 18 from Joe's AV. I received a call from someone at Joe's to confirm the order. After confirming my order, he proceeded to try to charge me for expedited shipping even though my receipt says free enhanced shipping. He told me that this enhanced shipping would take 28 days for my TVs to get to me (I would hate to know how long the non-enhanced shipping would take). I told him that I was not paying any more for faster shipping. He then tried to get me to pay 2% for shipping insurance which I declined; that 2% would have been an additional ($110). When I told him that I was going to leave him a review online about our conversation, he promised to upgrade me to the expedited shipping which would not make me wait the 28 days. I feel that the person that I spoke to was very rude and pushy and I did not like talking to them.

My TVs finally arrived on Wednesday August 3. That took 16 days to get my TVs to me in Florida and the vendor is in the North East. I accepted the delivery the first day that they oferred it to me. The tracking that they sent me says that my TVs shipped from New Jersey on July 27 which was 9 days after I placed my order. This does not seem like expedited shipping.

From the time I verified my order to the time I got my TVs, I had at least 10 communications with Joe's AV (via email and phone). The phone communication that I had with their employees (except for Stephanie on one call) was very rude and pushy (similar to my original call with them).

I saved about $400 vs. the next best price that I could find online by buying from Joe's. Based on the rude staff and very slow shipping, I wish I would have paid the extra few hundred dollars and bought elsewhere.

I hope that this review is helpful if you are considering purchasing from this vendor.
