James and team came in above and beyond in their installation of our A/C UnitWe had a more challenging sthan most but they stuck with it from quote to completionThe installer spent ~10hrs setting everything up on a FridayVery satisfied w/ the product and service thus far, and would recommend in a heart beat
Installing a new furnace - The technicians were punctual and worked through the day with no goofing off (We were impressed) They seem to know what they were doing and completed the installation within the stipulated timeframeIt was completed neatly and tidily An area for improvement - Research, Ask, and Learn to provide a better answer to: 1) why the exhaust pipe has to be installed through the side or back of the house and not through the existing chimney outlet - Answer from JPS technicians and supervisor was "it is government regulation" We asked the City Inspector and received an answer that made more sense to us than just a "government regulation" 2) how do we program to schedule the temperature for different times on the thermostat - Answer from JPS supervisor was that it can only be programmed via a smartphone/wifi As for the thermostat, I googled online and found out that we could program it without the use of a smartphone/wifi Provide better answers and I would definitely bumped up the score from to stars

I contacted several companies to obtain quote for installing an air conditioner unit in my new infill house Given my furnace room is located by the walkway side, I was concerned about the size of the A/C unit and the noise levelWould the unit limit my access to the back and how the unit would impact my neighbors? James was the most professional and gave the best explanation of the job, he spent over an hour at my property to make sure he understood my concerns and provided a competitive quote James is always available to answer any questions I might have afterwards, I contracted him at least times before I made my final decision On the installation date, there was some confusion on where the unit is being installed, however, the manager came to my property and made sure the job is completed to my satisfaction The A/C unit work perfectly, quiet and energy efficient I would definitely recommend JPS, as JPS provides great service and price, and definitely a trustworthy company!

Fortunately, our very old furnace (30+ Years) didn't completely fail, but had to be replaced due to safety issues so we had lots time to research Brands and ContractorsWe ended up having major contractors that all represented name brand furnaces in to provide a quote Each contractor took anywhere from minutes to hours (JPS) to evaluate our needs, I did extensive internet research which when it came to the different brands and ratings became very confusing for it seems that you'll get conflicting information from various web sites My recommendation is to visit a many sites as possible I did the same looking at the various contractors being cautious that the contractors were established and had good ratings with the Revdex.com You'll find that from the internet that most of the problems occur do to poor installations, the lowest cost may result into future headaches JPS (James [redacted] ) was not the lowest bidder, but we had the most confidence in the product, their contracting abilities and what they could provide include after-service and yearly maintenance Our furnace is located in a very confined area, I was completely amazed that old could be removed and the new on can be brought in We decided to have Air Conditioning installed as well which there was no up sell pressure we were given the options and recommendations and we took it from there We now have a new Furnace and Air Conditioning which took about days to install (new furnace was functional the first day) Jason was the senior installer and Scott was his assistant They were punctual, polite, worked extremely hard (I'm not even sure if they took a break) The installation was very well done and complete, clewas done at the end of the first day and the second day The furnace is working perfectly and the air condition which was installed in November has to be charged and power finished in March or April when the temperature is at least above C I can highly recommend JPS Home Heating & Air Conditioning
We called JPS for an estimate to have an AC unit installed....we were scheduled immediately for an estimate appointment with the company owner, James...he showed up right on tome, answered all of our questions and we proceeded to book our install It was super quick to schedule an appointment, and the guys arrived on timemin early...in morning rush hour traffic...when does that ever happen?? The main installer had a trainee with him and they did an excellent job-inside shoes, no mess, they even made sure none of my animals escaped! My neighbor has already asked for their contact info
