Had a noisy furnace fan. The technicians identified a warped blade and installed a new one. They we're polite and went about their work to fix the fan in a timely manner. We are pleased with their work.
We have just had Terence of JPS Heating come in and do a tune up of our furnaces, a/c unit and Rinnai water heater. I have nothing but good to say about the staff and company itself. Pricing was fair too. I will use their services in the future and highly recommend.
This team was excellent. When I had an issue with the furnace initially, the questions I asked were answered honestly and I appreciated that. When the furnace did actually die, they came when called, brought heaters to insure no damage was caused due to the cold weather and gave me all kinds of information and answered my questions again very honestly. When I had them install the new furnace they were prompt, very respectful and informative. I was very impressed. Great team of people going above and beyond. Thanks
We had a furnace and air conditioning unit installed by JPS Home Heating. The experience was positive from start to finish. From the quote we obtained from James to the installers. All were very professional, knowledgeable, and organized. The installers left the work area very clean. They answered all our questions. We felt very satisfied that we had made the right choice when we picked JPS as the company to do our install.
From the beginning this company was professional, informative and attentive to all our needs and questions. Their prices are competitive and the package they present is clear and concise. The installers worked incredibly hard and were professional and took time to explain the product when finished. My only sort of negative comment is that the furnace seems loud but that could be because we have been without a furnace for 1.5 months and have been heating the house with our floors and fireplace....Perhaps we just are not use to that white noise.
Our old furnace quit working on Monday night. I did some calling for quotes and JPS Furnace was on the ball. Within an hour of calling in James was at our place giving us a quote.
He place us on a priority list and said they would be at our place first thing in the morning, so after some other companies quotes we decided to go with JPS Furnace. They even left us with floor heaters so we could have some heat in the house.
They showed up at exactly 8am, and both of the workers were very friendly and did an amazing job to put in the new furnace.
They set up everything we needed.

The product: Great AC unit. Honestly I'd never go back to those dark days before I had central air in this house!
Post Install: Although we had one teeny wrinkle to iron out, it only bears mentioning so I can say how promptly the issue was dealt with. Follow up calls were made by customer service and the owner, himself after the install as well.
I do not hesitate in recommending JPS to any of my friends and family. I am confident that I received a good product installed by people who care about what they do and their customers.
We're in sunny Lethbridge and ductless air conditioning is not well known among residential installers here. We wanted Daikin brand products for their engineering reputation but could not seem to get these from a local installer. As a result we contacted JMS in Calgary and asked them to the job.
JMS quoted the job fairly; arrived as scheduled to do a quick, professional seeming, install; and did a quality control follow-up call about two weeks later to see how things worked out. So far the answer to that is very well: the system is extremely quiet, reasonably unobstrusive, and has kept the interior at a uniform 24 degrees on days it hit 31+ outside.
Overall, we give the contractor and the product two enthusiastic thumbs up.
Last year (Sept 2014) JPS Home Heating installed our new Goodman furnace. The furnace has been working great, and our energy bills are definitely lower. JPS provided a very good price, did a good installation, and they were prompt and professional. We spent a lot of time researching furnaces and getting quotes from other companies before we decided to go with JPS, and we don't regret our decision; we would have no problems recommending them for a furnace replacement.
Fortunately, our very old furnace (30+ Years) didn't completely fail, but had to be replaced due to safety issues so we had lots time to research Brands and Contractors. We ended up having 4 major contractors that all represented name brand furnaces in to provide a quote. Each contractor took anywhere from 30 minutes to 1.5 hours (JPS) to evaluate our needs, I did extensive internet research which when it came to the different brands and ratings became very confusing for it seems that you'll get conflicting information from various web sites. My recommendation is to visit a many sites as possible. I did the same looking at the various contractors being cautious that the contractors were established and had good ratings with the Revdex.com. You'll find that from the internet that most of the problems occur do to poor installations, the lowest cost may result into future headaches. JPS (James [redacted]) was not the lowest bidder, but we had the most confidence in the product, their contracting abilities and what they could provide include after-service and yearly maintenance. Our furnace is located in a very confined area, I was completely amazed that old could be removed and the new on can be brought in. We decided to have Air Conditioning installed as well which there was no up sell pressure we were given the options and recommendations and we took it from there.
We now have a new Furnace and Air Conditioning which took about 2 days to install (new furnace was functional the first day). Jason was the senior installer and Scott was his assistant. They were punctual, polite, worked extremely hard (I'm not even sure if they took a break). The installation was very well done and complete, clean-up was done at the end of the first day and the second day. The furnace is working perfectly and the air condition which was installed in November has to be charged and power finished in March or April when the temperature is at least 15 above C. I can highly recommend JPS Home Heating & Air Conditioning.
The overall experience was efficient and done in a timely matter. One thing that would of been nice to know beforehand was that this company didn't do furnace cleaning. This was not communicated clearly since we wanted a replacement and cleaning and was told over the phone these could be done but once arrived on site, it was communicated that this company didn't do cleanings.
