Shawn did not get a permit to do work
did not get an inspector to inspect work
did not give a price estmate on work or cost of insert
built hearth over rug
did not seal in side fire brick-- replaced one RED brick regular not fire brick
worker did not come to door and let anyone know that he was there
told him to leave till an inspector could inspect job

They did a great job! Very clean, organized, professional and sharp
They are currently in the process of restoring units that are badly in need of brick repair and lots of other issues
I do like that they come preparedThey show us on a large screen before and after picsWe feel like were part of the process

EHS Restoration is an immensely great company! Such a great staff, and makes sure to make themselves clear on how to handle things until they arrive, which is was very fast! I give them a 10/10!

It’s going to be a cozy winter!!! I have a chimney on my house built in in Parma IdI called Safer Chimney to have it cleaned but I really wanted them to be honest with me about repairs that I knew it needed, especially the crown Shawn came out to clean it and ended up giving the chimney a full structural inspection He went over everything from inside and out giving me a price quote for the repairs that would make heating my home safe again Shawn was very professional and I felt comfortable dealing with him The repairs included relining the chimney flue with a new stainless steel liner in place of the existing broken tiles, rebuilding the broken crown which included a new screened cap I also decided to replace the wood stove since it had some issues that concerned me We agreed on the price, procedure and install time We schedule a time on Monday which included Idaho Power coming out to drop the power line so the scaffolding could be set up along with trimming some tree limbs away from the chimney Idaho Power showed first thing in the morning to do their part, then Shawn showed up shortly after that He went right to work cutting the metal heatilator out of the old fire place A little later, Tristin arrived jumping right in I was amazed of how these two guys worked together like a well-oiled machine to accomplish the job at hand They completed the work in a day as planned and under budget which thankfully saved me some money I am VERY impressed with the company, Shawn himself, and Tristin The answered any questions or concerns I had and completed what they said they were going to do including getting Idaho Power back to turn the power back on the same day I can already tell that the work Safer Chimney did is far more advanced and higher quality than the run of the mill chimney sweep Now every year there will be no question in my mind about who I will be calling to clean my chimneyThank You Safe Chimney, Shawn and TristinKathy M

My year old mother had chimney work done and a new pellet stove insert installed on feb26,Safer chimney crew were short two parts that they would have made in there shop and bring later to be installedMy mom paid for the complete installation and they have not been back to finish the jobIn septWe went to lite the stove and it will not liteWe have been calling safer chimney sense septTo get the stove fixedAs of Dec.5,we still have not seen themThey said they would be here on sat Decat 10:AM to fix the stove and finish the rest of the workSo far we have not seen or heard from them and they will not return our phone calls

I decided to get my chimney cleaned this summer only because I had a live bird in my fireplace to pay me a visit Safer Chimney had a sign posted along the road in Kuna so I decided to give them a call and have them come out and clean my stove pipe They inspected my stove and said it was unsafe to build a fire, so I had them fix the problem and I built a fire today I have to say I have been skeptical after writing that check because I had to spend quite a lot of money to get my fireplace fixed, but this is the warmest my house has been since using my fireplace

I had a problem with mold and the employees talked me through the process on what they were doing to take it out and I really appreciated that, they are very good workers

I own homesOne in *** and one in ***Had the crews from Safer Chimney do full cleaning s on bothWas very impressed with the quality and professionalism of both crewsWas also nice knowing they had a shop in Boise and Twin to accommodate my multiple locations
We ended up doing new wood inserts and full chimney repairs on the *** homeThey noted they had no liners and bricks were falling apartThey quoted me a fair price and finished on timeThey did run into a few hidden issues upon RepairingI really appreciate that they stop the work and did full video/pictures of tge addition issuesIt only ran around $extra but I appreciate that they made me fully aware of tge price, procedure and installIt did cause a delay due to them having to manufacture the parts
But no big deal
Very clean,on time and professional
We are currently having them build an outdoor fireplace at our main home in *** by the pool
Im a general contractor and deal with subs and independents all the timeYou will be very satisfied with the quality they do
Plus they gave me a couple really cool BSU mugs with our last name on them
