We are sorry for the inconvenience of Mrand Mrs [redacted] delivery issuesAfter following up with the customer today, I was informed that their paper was deliveredTheir account was also credited for papers on November 3, and papers on November This extended their paper subscription expiration date from December to December The customer was informed that as per our missed paper policy, there will be no difference in the amount they are paying to renew but we extended their subscription out for the dates they were missedI have encouraged them to keep us informed of their delivery as to better prevent this from happening again

On August 26th, 2015, our Delivery Services Manager, Ron D***, contacted the subscriber and was told the newspaper was being received Should the subscriber wish to contact MrD [redacted] further regarding delivery issues, he can be reached at [redacted] .Our sincere apologies for the delivery issues the subscriber experienced.Thank you,The Kansas City Star Customer Service Department

Mr. [redacted] ,We apologize for the inconvenience of your missed papers. According to my records the Customer Service Department dispatched all of your complaints and extended your subscription paid through date from 3/9/17 to 4/9/17. Although I don't see any complaints on the account since 11/28, I... sent an email to the District Manager of this route. I have also sent your request to re-evaluate which routes are owned by distributors and which routes have country carriers throw them to the the Senior Home Delivery Manager. Please continue to contact the Customer Service Department as all of our reporting of problem areas go through them. They are also capable of dispatching messages directly to the carrier and charging them for papers that are not being thrown. Thank you for your readership.

Dear Ms. [redacted] ,After contacting Mr. [redacted] last week and monitoring his delivery this week, we both agree that his delivery has substantially improved. He only received one Sunday paper this week but I had another copy specially delivered to his residence today, before he arrived home from work. Subscriber has been receiving regular service. Very happy about that. She has local number if she needs help in the future!

I am rejecting this response because: This is still not resolved A 'carrier' from Lees Summit contacted us on Thursday, 1/29/and told us our carrier would resume delivery of the paper on 2/3/- we still have no paper!!!! We were told by the Kansas City Star on Tuesday, 2/3/that a representative would contact us - no contact Still no paper!

Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention According to our records, we do not have a customer under [redacted] at PO Box number suppliedHowever we do have a [redacted] in Spring Hill, KSThe account was stopped on 4/15/The amount due was written off on 4/15/We see on the account a letter was sent out on 4/17/The letter was probably generated before the write off was posted on the accountMs [redacted] does not have a balance due on the account

And yet another pleasant person has been receiving the paper just fine.Again, she has both my number and customer service

Mr [redacted] I am sorry for the missed deliveries A new carrier began delivering the area January 13th so we will work with him to correct and sight verify your delivery the next few days.When we credit your account, it moves your pay through date forward As an example, if your account were paid through February 2nd and we credit your account two days, it moves your pay through date to February 4th This delays when your next statement is sent and payment is due I'm sorry for any misunderstanding regarding this matter.Sincerely, [redacted] Distribution and Delivery Director
