Subscriber reports he has received a paper the last few day. I have asked our distributors to be sure and watch this entire street.I issued a month credit on his account also He has my name and number if he has any more problems or questions

Our records show each monthly payment of $has been processed and applied to your subscription for each week period, beginning January 5, and continuing each month up to 1/4/You were not charged above your agreed upon amountI apologize for the missed delivery issuesYour account does not show any complaints of missed delivery, however, so we would not have been able to apply credit for those since we were unaware that you were missedThe account has already been issued credit for two weeks, and I will apply an additional weeks totaling one month

Our New Start Subscription Form states the information below...."Subscription rates include a separate fee for delivery, but do not include a one-time activation fee of $ Subscriptions will start 3-days after receipt of reply Offer limited to regular carrier-delivered routes and

This is in response to complaint #*** In reviewing Ms*** account There were several missed paper complaints from 11/8/until the route became non-serviceable on February 22, I have requested a refund in the amount of 73.20, which is the $minus $7.11,
Per Ms*** request We certainly do apologize for the issues with delivery In most cases when an area becomes Non-Serviceable the Kansas City Star has determined that there are not enough subscribers in that area and/or we are unable to find a carrier that will deliver the area in question Making an area non-serviceable is not something that is taken lightly but in some cases unavoidable We do offer mail subscriptions in that area Delivery is not same day, since Post office requirements for newspapers is 2nd class and there are no ads in Mail Subscription papers Pricing depends on what type of subscription she wants and our Customer Service Department at ###-###-#### can supply that information or she can call locally at ###-###-#### Again, I sincerely apologize for the issue Ms*** has encountered with usI have contacted the Telemarketing area and ask them to remove her number from their calling list since this area is no longer a carrier serviced area If we can be of further service please do not hesitate to contact us Sincerely, *** *** Finance Department

I received a call from B*** who said there was confusionTo be clear, since the day we moved in to this house I have received a newspaper delivered dailyEven after filing this complaint, I st*** continue to receive the newspaper daily that I did not orderThere hasn't been any change since I opened this complaint even though I've been told they w*** submit the change several times, which is what I was told on the phone which led me to filing this complaint in the first placeObviously there is some type of disconnect at some level because I keep getting told the same thing.I hope this latest response w*** actually bring closure to the issue

Our logistics manager has emailed Mr*** and Mr*** been receiving his newspaper delivery since Saturday I have extended his subscription for weeks for his delivery issues

Thank you for bringing this issue to our attentionWe have received your complaint 5/2/17. I see the problem on the account and was able to correct the issueThe rate was change to the correct amount on 4/30/Credits to correct the expiration date are being appliedTheir expiration date

I am rejecting this response because: Actually, there has never been a resolution to this matter and I would like to have it resolved as soon as possable I have tried many times by phone, leaving my name and phone number for Phillis G*** to call me; however, I hear nothing and find that unsatisfactory under the sircumstances The Kansas City Star sent us a bill for $$payable in advance of the delivery of the paper Miss G*** stated in a short email that we was not behind in any payments; " We just converted over to a new sytstem and all the bills went out for weeks" Our Kansas Star delivery was dropped My husband and I have taken the Star for over years and they are not inerested in making a delivery We just want this over with and be done with, but it seems the Kansas City Star is not interested in closing the file nor hearing my side of anything I don't know what else to do or say about this problem

After a week or so our KC Star delivery has become timely and no days have been
skipped A copy of the KC Royals special sections from November 8, was mailed to our home along with a KC Star ball point pen I still think the KC Star and McClatchy news services customer service interface needs a major overhaul and much less "generic" response to issues Getting our paper delivered and delivered on time should not require letters to the editorial page editor and to the Revdex.comThe Star did provide me with a local phone number for any future issues I have not needed to try that number yet My personal opinion is all customer service issues should be answered locally rather than some where over the international date line
