Kiwi.com offers flights from LAX to PVG (layover in HongKong) on the same booking. However, at this moment, no one (regardless citizenship) is allowed to lay over HK and get to mainland China. I contacted them three times and tried to get a resolution. They insisted the booking was confirmed. I contacted the airline operating flight from LAX to HK and learned that they cannot do anything because that is an agent ticket. I had to tell them that the airline informed that I cannot board the flight from LAX to HK because of travel restriction. They just piece together separate flights to force them into the same itinerary and act like this itinerary is doable (which is fake and false information!). I also learned that they cannot guarantee refund for cancellation the flight and they even told me it was my responsibility to make sure I met the visa requirement. But there is not visa requirement for this layover because the transit to mainland China is suspended at this moment, no matter whether you need a visa. Their information on the website is misleading and actually contains false information. They should pull down the fake options.

I booked a ticket with them Nyc - Rome for me and my mom with a stop in Amsterdam and Iceland. They cancelled my connection Iceland- Amsterdam and I opted for the refund(They put on the website that I was going to get a refund of 152$) which I still have not seen in my account. I re-bought another connection with them that cost me 258$ usd. They again cancelled my flight (Amsterdam- Rome) and asked me if I want it to change the flight and buy another ticket they told me for 359$ thinking I was getting the previous flight cancelled refunded (The 258$). Well no. They totally scam you in their supper misleading website and scam artist operators. I called Kiwi and asked them that I wanted to get that connection refunded (Amsterdam- Rome) because I found online that same flight for $404 when they were making me pay in total $661for that connection. Their Scam operator artist told me that they did where going to refund me which I still have not received a dime.
I decided I was going to stay in Amsterdam for some days and then figure out my flight to Rome.

Well, I arrived to the airport JFK to get my flight New York - Amsterdam and the flight Kiwi sold me did not exist and was not operational. The scammers of Kiwi are liars and they did a false accusation saying that I wanted the whole itinerary cancelled when that is a lie. They invented that because they knew already the flight did not exist so it was the perfect excuse for them.

Please this website needs to be shut down immediately. Go on Trust Pilot reviews and see for yourself the amount fo people they are scamming. How many more people need to be scammed until they close this down?

They are taking advantage of people through Covid -19 stealing people's savings. It's a disgrace.

PLEASE PLEASE SHUT IT DOWN. WHAT ELSE CAN I DO TO HAVE THIS DONE? I really don't want other people to have to go through what I just have been through. My mom almost had a collapse in the airpot and she is an older lady... like seriously, we can't put through people anymore with these scam.

I booked a flight ticket with Flexi ticket type on Kiwi, and my flight was canceled by carrier due to COVID-19. According to the cancellation policy, I would have gotten a 90% refund. The total price is about 2100 CAD, and I only got 152 Kiwi credit. The customer service told me 90% refund is only for voluntary cancellation , and they cannot process further refund anymore once the instant refund was processed, but it is not my fault that my flight was canceled, I should get more refund! Also, the policy of Flexi ticket is fraudulent!

Kiwi airlines services will not refund the amount of my airline ticket. Flights were cancelled due to not being able to land an airline in the airport of destination. I have continuously filed reports, complaints, and spoken to many representatives with the KIWI company. But after over 60 days there is no refund or contact regarding my flight.

Hello,
I booked a flight from Lebanon to Germany through Kiwi.com. They found me a seat on Sundair on Friday May 30. After I paid for the ticket, they sent me the E-ticket. After few days, I visited the airlines official website to check if there are any announcements regarding Covid-19. An announcement just popped up telling that there will be no flights between 23.03.2020 up to and including 14.06.2020. They have made this clear. I contacted kiwi.com and asked them why did you booked me if you know that there will no flights during this period. They said they didn't know, which I doubted it. I told them reschedule for another after June 15th. They said we can't do that, and that I should contact the airlines to request a change. I told them refund me, they said we will try to refund as much as possible, which I understood there will be no full refund, though the flight is cancelled or there were not any flight in the first place. So, as you can see, they are selling seats on people, then do not rebook them for another date or fully refund them. It is mere fraud.

On 2/26/2020, my wife purchased a ticket from Sydney to Kulur Lumpor for roughly $284 USD. Shortly after the transaction was confirmed, we received an email saying that a price change event had occurred on the airline side, and the new price of the ticket would be $840 (which, is double the price if I bought directly from the airline, as I found out later). I was given the choice to pay the difference, or the transaction will be cancelled and I would be refunded the $284. I immediately chose to cancel the transaction and get a refund. 15 minutes later, to my surprised, Kiwi charged my credit card for $284 and I was given a faked airline confirmation number. I tried to retrieve the ticket from the airline's system to no availability, so I went ahead and request the refund AGAIN, per their original email. I was rejected a full refund as promised by their email, and they are using my original agreement to pay $284 against me when I try to dispute the transaction. I never received any tickets from them that I can find on the airline's website. The attempted bait and switch and the fact that I clicked on the "refund" button on their email should have nullified any agreement to pay prior to them charging me.

Booked Round trip flight to Brazil with Kiwi prior to executive order prohibiting flights from entering US from Brazil and Kiwi is refusing to refund, for a circumstance outside of my control (executive order)

Me and my fiancé was trying to go to my hometown and let everyone know we are getting married and to attend my family reunion. Unfortunately *** my fiancé cannot travel because he has to assist down at the clinic because some of the workers tested positive for covid-19 and they need more workers. I’ve tried everything from getting a credit or even use his ticket to modify my own because I still have to take the trip. The kiwi website offers me a $10 refund on a almost $400 ticket. Then the customer service representative asked me why are there two men on the ticket I told her it was for me and my boyfriend she immediately changed tones and was all of sudden very rude and trying to get me off the phone. She constantly cut me off while I was trying to explain. I felt so bad I started crying cause she clearly was discriminating against me because I was a gay male. I tried the refund and cancellation but nothing worked. So I just gave up let them keep the tickets and booked myself another flight thru a more secure airlines. They are really getting over on a lot of people and it needs to stop.

I purchased a flight through Kiwi (travel agency) on 2/21/20 for a round trip flight from Los Angeles, CA to Rome, Italy. Due to the travel restrictions and because I’m a first responder (police officer) I’m unable to travel with my girlfriend (military) outside of the country. Kiwi has refused to work with me and only offered me a $10.00 refund on a $1040.09 flight I paid for. They also won’t even offer me a travel voucher instead that I could use at a later date and was told it’s my fault I didn’t buy trip insurance or a more expensive flight. The problem is with Covid-19 there was no way I could know that it would turn into this big of a problem back in February.....

I’ve booked with them two flights for April 2020 from Stuttgart to Madrid and they were cancelled due to COVID-19.

Now they say the refund can take up to 3months and they don’t assure the full refund for those flights.

Furthermore, you’re obliged to pay 20€ in advance (on top of the flight costs) to proceed with the refund request! That’s immoral!

Kiwi is holding funds from airline reimbursement. We asked for a full refund and Kiwi said they were too busy so they may not even be able to contact the airline prior to our departure date.. ( in which case airlines typically do not issue refunds!) So we did the work of contacting the airlines and facilitated a full refund which is now in Kiwis possession. I believe they also may have overcharged me for my tickets since I reached out to the airline to facilitate the refund and they said the amount charged was less then what Kiwi charged me. They so far have not provided me with any kind of receipt or anything proving the amount they paid to the airline.

On January 15th 2020 I made a reservation for a return flight with *** Outbound Munich to Toronto March 13,2020
Inbound Toronto to Munich March 23, 2020
It was confirmed after I paid for it the same day with my *** credit card.
I did receive the e-ticket for the outbound flight with a strange receipt for payment made with a different non existent credit card under my husband’s name, as he is the passenger.
When I questioned it, I was told it is company policy.
As I had confirmation, booking number and a receipt for the payment I made with my Visa card, it was not a problem.
My husband had no problems with the outbound flight to Toronto.
However a couple of days before the return flight to Munich, we received
notification from *** that the flight was cancelled. They did change it to a flight to Frankfurt, which was also cancelled. ***said that I was entitled to refund or credit for the flight Toronto to Munich. However as the booking was made through kiwi.com, I would need to arrange it through them.
When I got in touch with kiwi, their correspondence suddenly made no mention of the outbound flight as if I never paid or made a booking for it.
Suddenly the flight also disappeared from the official invoice when I tried to retrieve it through the app.
As I had taken screenshots of most of my email correspondence with kiwi and ***, that shows that indeed I booked and paid for the return flight, I had no doubt that they would honour the refund, but from then onwards whatever they sent to me in writing totally ignores that particular part of the booking.
I am sending you copies of all the emails and notifications that prove my point
and I hope you can assist me in getting the refund, or a credit for a future flight
which legally I am entitled to.
Thanking you in advance.

I had a flight booked to Germany in June 2020 and received email of flight cancellation due to covid-19 and offering $100. For a flight that cost me $650.

In February I booked a flight to Spain, scheduled to depart April 2020. Due to Covid-19, one of my flights has now been rescheduled to 6 hours later, making it impossible to make my connecting flight. Another of my flights has been outright cancelled. In trying to request a refund from Kiwi, I was first offered $500 in kiwi credits to use towards future travel. Now I am only being offered $ 100 in credits towards future travel for a trip that I paid $950 for. I have attempted to reach Kiwi through email and messenger with the only response being an automatic reply. I simply want the money that I paid for the trip refunded back to me.

Was supposed to fly to Chile on Match 23. Had layovers in Mexico City and Peru. The borders there were closed and airlines were unable to fly. They charged my credit card through their system but booked the flights with another credit card. They were given a refund from the airline but refuse to give me back my money. They told me my only options were to take f107 crudity on their website or pay them am additional fee to receive an unguaranteed amount. At the time of booking I was told my flights were fully guaranteed.

KIWI.COM

WORST THAN DOG SLAUGHTERING WET MARKETS.
RUN THE OTHER WAY, IT PAINS ME TO GIVE THEM 1 STAR.

Long story short, tried it once, AND PAID THE PRICE.
and it’s just a pit of snakes, rip off scammers,
that give prices that will leave you running around like a chicken with its head chopped off.

they will use every trick in the book, buying time to prevent refunds, take advantage any way possible, and the scariest thing is the Business card I used to pay with, ended up with SOMEONE ELSE MASTER CARD, = I paid kiwi.com = kiwi paid airlines with someone else's credit card.

As for refunds, save your time on earth, and all the bank.
There is NO help. at all, literally, you run into random reps, with random, fabricated meat market haggle refunds, TO BE SPECIFIC, if you want a refund, you need to haggle and complain to see if you'll get RIP OFF LESS, that's it.

Truth be Told,
their business model is on par with the wet markets in china,
you pay them to get slaughtered, PERIOD
truth be told. JUST DON'T EVEN BOTHER.

P.S> the will try to trick you,
with word play to "agree" for a refund of 10$ or 10 Euros,
and the trick is, they make you agree and make it seem like they are giving you a full refund.

I hope this saves someone a huge pain and not waste their,
God given time on earth on rubbish like this.

I have been broke and on a budget, so I know how it is, I am successful now, thank God, but I know how it is to be broke and needing to travel just to work a honest job.
I sincerely hope this helps, anyone thinking about traveling to a foreign country, who is on a budget, who is wondering.

STAY THE HECK AWAY,
Your welcome.

Trip to Netherlands booked in February. President's travel ban prevented us from being able to travel. Additionally, the second lag of the flight was cancelled by the airlines. Kiwi was willing to refund through credit only $107 of our purchased $1200 flight. To add insult to injury, they would work harder with the airlines to get me more refund if I paid them an additional $20. Told me I could try to work directly with the 2 airlines first if I chose to do so. Upon attempting that I soon realized the airlines won't even communicate with you if booked through a third party, which I feel Kiwi had to have been aware of.

Booked airfare and flight was cancelled with ryanair but booked with kiwi.com and they refused to give a full refund or credit like the airline is giving to there guest if they booked directly with them. Eu rule 261 requires a full refund or full credit. They are charging to ask the airline for a full refund/credit which the airline is offering on their website but not Kiwi.com, they are only offering 18.00 store credit.

On March , 20, 2020, I purchased an airline ticket for travel with Thai Smile Airline through Kiwi.com, because of the pandemic the airline cancelled all international flights and told me I would get a refund but I would have to go through Kiwi.com.

But Kiwi.com tokd me I would have to pay 20 euros to get my money back even though I also purchased travel insurance.

Kiwi.com is using this as a golden opportunity to rip people off.

The website keeps advertising about a very good price for a flight ($48) but when the flight is selected to enter traveling info, the price jumps to $332! Drastic change! After repeated searches, the same enticing price keeps coming up as a way to click on the link but it's a complete lure each time. I find this to be very dishonest.
