For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I still object that the new “smart” meter is charging astronomically different usage rates than old metersI have been told this was due to our old meter being faulty and a part being brokenHowever two of my neighbors have the same issues and we all have bills incredibly inflated over last yearTwo of us researched past heating bills for last year with old tenants and as suspected this year is dramatically moreDuquesne has explained their side of the story/ explanation but it still does not make it reasonable that we are all given various reasons and excuses for he new meter charging so much more than the old meterIn the end we still have $electric bills and all have to moveWe’re told the new meters are correct and they checked them but we have to trust Duquesne on all thisThis process was very confusing and at various times I was told different things and it feels like DL is just trying to shush us here and there is a bigger issue with the roll out of the new smart meters being very confusing to consumers and one sidedI also was hanged $to have team come out and my neighbor was notThey waived it for herThere are just inconsistencies I still think that the main complaint has been unresolved- which is that our usage rates have increased drastically with the the new meters over the old.

In response to this complaint, our records indicate that a Customer Care Supervisor reached out to customer on July 29, and explained what transpired on the previous bills and that appropriate action has been taken to correct the account. Customer stated she was satisfied.On August 3, 2015, I spoke with customer who stated she was waiting for her next bill to confirm that the issue is completely resolved. In conclusion, Duquesne Light Company has taken appropriate steps to correct customer’s account and we respectfully request that this complaint be dismissed. Duquesne Light Company conducted a meter inspection and determined that our meter was functioning properly and accurately. Duquesne Light Company also verified that the property was properly classified a residence and that he was billed at the ppropriate tariff approved rate. A Duquesne Light Company representative spoke with the customer about his usage as displayed online, and he indicated that the usage shown online currently appears to be in line with his usage.In conclusion, as the customer was billed at the appropriate rate with an accurate meter and the customer agrees that the usage shown online is in line with his manual readings, the Company respectfully requests that this complaint be dismissed. Duquesne Light agreed to give me a $credit as well as correct my account statement and allow my account information to be viewable when I go to their website.I haven't been able to view my account informationI'm unable to see fi they actually issues me the $credit that they promised, I'm still unable to see my account statement or current bill when I log on to my Duquesne light accountpare of the agreement we reached included fixing my account information and having it available when I need to look at my accountNow when I go to log on, there is no information about my account available at allThis is contrary to what Duquesne light and I had agreed uponDuquesne light assured me that my account information would be fixed and made available for me to view and They didn't follow through with this promiseRegards,

Its a inconvenience to me that I have to call duquesne light when I want access to my bill.I want an accurate bill mailed to me on a monthly basis, like businesses do.I want my account statement to reflect accurate informationThis is not how a business is supposed to be ran.As the customer, I should be able to access my bill and account statement anytime I wantI shouldn't have to call Duquesne Light and be on hold for minutes waiting for them to tell me what my bill is every monthI would like to see my bill physically every month, to know what I've been charged.this issue has been going on since November of and I have yet to be given a date as to when my bills will begin be available for viewing. this whole issue has been going on for too long and it's very frustrating that I can't know automatically what my bill is every month.my bill was already messed up in the past , that's why I need to physically view my bill every month to be sure Duquesne Light is not overcharging me like they were in the past.ar I should not have to call and verbally hear Duquesne Light tell me the amount of my bill, I need to actually see a detailed bill every single month like a customer.Regards,
