Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
The first rep at Duq Light was not at all helpfulShe didn't return any of my calls or attempts at contact until I said that she left me with no alternative than to contact the police or Revdex.comFinally she called and said Duq Light does not accept responsibility for my car - by that time I had filed a Revdex.com complaintSoon after filing the complaint, another rep (***) contacted me and was much nicer - she offered to complete an investigation and asked for several pieces of informationI sent her all the info she requested except the police report of the hit-and-run: I wasn't able to contact the police and she indicated not to worry about itHowever, its been a few weeks and I haven't heard back from herSince I got this email from Revdex.com, I emailed her inquiring about the investigation. The fact is I drove the car directly from *** *o the house and parked itThe only other people there were many people from Duq Light with big vehiclesThe next morning my rental car was dentedDuq Light employees were reckless: their truck made a huge scrape in the asphalt only feet from my rental carThe smaller vehicle with treads on it dug up large portions of grass going down the lawn into the backyard to fix the power lineAll of this was right next to the side of my car that was damaged. Regardless of whether or not the company takes responsibility for the damages to my rental car, the worst part of the experience was how I was mistreated by themThey treated me like I was the one who mashed up their car! All I asked is that they look into it, and they neglected me, and acted as if "who was I to bring up the damage they caused to my property? I'm lucky enough they fixed my power!" This is the type of thing the Revdex.com is designed to fixThey were totally inappropriate.

Last time the customer representative called me and assured that the $25 credit has been applied to my account, and that's why I accepted their solution. But obviously they did not apply the credit at all! The bill they now send me does not anywhere apply the $25 credit. Duquesne Light did not really do what they had promised.

Company has
reviewed the customer’s complaint and investigated the matter.  Duquesne Light Company recently began
upgrading customer meters as part of a required system upgrade.  The customer requested that her recently installed
advanced meter be removed.  However, a
Duquesne Light Company representative explained to the customer that the new
meter was installed as part of a directive from the Pennsylvania Public Utility
Commission and Act 129 which mandate the installation of advanced meters.  Thus, the customer’s advanced meter cannot be
removed as it is required by the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission.Duquesne Light Company respectfully requests that this
complaint be dismissed as the Company does not have the ability to remove the advanced
meter since it was a Commission ordered mandatory upgrade.Sincerely, Marie E. T[redacted] Supervisor Regulatory Consumer Relations
