To Whom It May Concern: This letter is in response to a complaint filed by [redacted] Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention Equity Auto Center has looked into this matter and finds the following Mr [redacted] purchased a Nissan Sentra in June of Mr [redacted] had an opportunity to inspect and drive the vehicle at time of purchase and it was disclosed to him this vehicle was in used condition At that time customer decided to purchase the vehicle and the appropriate disclosures about the vehicles history were signed Equity Auto Center sales used cars and tries to give customers to the best of our ability a good running vehicle at a price that meets there budget Unfortunately with used vehicles they cannot be perfect Customer stated that the vehicle had a bad battery and the breaks were squeaking Equity put a new battery in the vehicle and the brakes were inspected and found to be working to manufacture guidelines The customer has driven the vehicle for a month and failed to make the agreed upon payments that were contingent of his loan approval The down payment that Mr [redacted] paid with a check bounced, [redacted] Customer failed to meet the agreed upon terms and because of that the car was taken away The customer came in with his mother and she is on camera yelling profanities in our main lobby so they were asked to leave Upon leaving Mr [redacted] is on video kicking and causing damage to the vehicle The damages will be assessed, a police report will be filed and Mr [redacted] will be hearing from our attorneys with the amount he has to pay our store for damages Equity Auto Center considers this matter to be closed Thank you Equity Auto Center [redacted] ***

To whom it may concern; This letter is in response to a complaint filed by [redacted] Complaint ID# [redacted] Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention Equity Auto Center has looked into this matter and finds the following MrFigueroa purchased a warranty with the purchase of his vehicle Warranties are a cancelable item at customer’s request The Cancelation proses is as follows Customers can ask to speak with a finance manager at Equity Auto Center from 9am to 5pm Monday thru Friday Warranties are pro-rated and refunds are calculated by how many miles remain that have not been used Customer must provide the vehicle so that a finance manager can verify the miles on the vehicle at time of cancellation Refunds can take from to weeks before customers can see a credit with their lenders if vehicle has a loan, or same amount of time for the dealer to issue a refund check to the customer if vehicle is paid in full Please let us know if there is any further information you may need Equity Auto Center consider this matter to be resolved Thank you

To Whom It May Concern: This letter is in response to a complaint filed by Terence P Butler Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention Upon review Equity Auto Center found the following Check [redacted] was sent to [redacted] a secondary lender Check # [redacted] has cleared our bank account Equity has contacted the lender and the lender stated it could take to weeks after a check clears there account before any lien can be released and title can be mailed to dealer Equity has not received a title from the lender at this point No refund checks are released until title has been received A refund in the amount of will be available for MrButler from Equity Auto Center to customer one week after title has been received Equity Auto Center finds this matter to be resolved Please let us know if there is any further information you may need

Equity Auto did not pay the full contract travalue of $25,100, they paid only $24,and still owe the remaining balance of $to me. Due to the fact they delayed in paying off the traloan for 50+ days I had to make another payment that brought down the principle balance from time of contract. Request the remaining balance be paid to me as the buyer and owner of the travehicle as the contract was agreed to

I am very grateful that Equity Auto Center is willing to work with me regarding this matterI however will have to reject their initial resolutionThe reasons I am rejecting this initial attempt for resolution are two foldFirst, the proposed resolution is merely a restatement of the suggestion I received from Equity which promoted me to contact the Revdex.comSecondly, the term "fair market value" used in Equity's proposal can be interpreted in many different waysIf Equity does indeed refer to the market value based on Kelly Blue Book dealership trade in value taking into account mileage of the vehicle, then I would be of course willing to do soI however can not accept another $1600+ charge for lifetime tinting considering I will be exchanging a vehicle to Equity which is already equipped with this feature

shortly after leaving the message with you, I did finally receive the payoffHowever, the payoff agreed upon was $They payoff my bank received was $short of thatI have tried to call and find my money in which I paid to them, but every time I get a different answer and I am never able to speak with Cindy who is supposedly the one to handle the matterI'm extremely disappointed and beyond frustrated with all the separate conflicts I have come across

of his vehicle and would pay a fair market value for vehicle based on miles and condition towards the purchase of another vehicle. Thank you

First, the incompetence of the employees at Equity Auto Center did not explain the cancellation policy in this manner I was told it would still be going through processing with the 3rd party insurance company I have called Wells Fargo Dealership Services multiple times to verify if they have received the payment refunding the $895, which they have not The most recent time they have been contacted was Monday, October 31, and it was still not posted to the account If it was sent to the financial institution as the dealership states, and done when I cancelled, which has been over a month ago, the financial institution would have record of it by now I do not accept their response that they have submitted a refund

$is not sufficient under the circumstances & I am requesting a full refund in the amount of $155.86. Equity Auto ripped me off and REFUSED to sell the car. They took the car to the Chevy Dealership to get the diagnostic on it. I paid the diagnostic fee because I intended to purchase the vehicle. Please look at the dates on the cashier's check and the auto loan documents. On 9/20/16, I was given instructions to obtain a cashier’s check in the said amount. We agreed that the car would be diagnosed to prove that there were no major issues. On 9/21/16, the service tech called me to inform of the issues which were MINsafety concerns! Austin at Equity informed that they would repair the front control arm bushings at no cost to me & I would take care of the other issues. Austin stated that he would have all of this in the contract when I arrived to pay for the vehicle that evening. Once I gave Equity the diagnostic and keys obtained from Chevy, they told me to wait while they completed the purchase contract for me to sign. Austin went to get the vehicle from Chevy & once they returned with the car, they said they were not repairing it as they agreed and it was no longer for sell! They never said ANYTHING about needing to do an inspection! I offered to purchase AS IS & they STILL said no. They had me pay for their diagnostic for their benefit! Why would anyone get a loan in the exact amount Equity provided on their paperwork, pay for a diagnostic, and have a cashier's check in hand THE DAY BEFORE if they weren't trying to buy the car? The next day AFTER they went back on their word, ripped me off, and treated me poorly; they asked me to come buy the car! Please refund my money. If they intended to sell the car after it was inspected, they would have said that & we would not be having this discussion now. They had no intention on doing the repair or selling this car!

Equity Auto Center has looked into this matter and finds the following. At time of purchase MrFigueroa decided to buy the vehicle at agreed upon price and equipmentAll items were disclosed to him at that time At no time did Equity Auto Center force MrFigueroa to purchase the Vehicle with the tint or a warranty. MrFigueroa signed all the required docs needed to possess the sale and all items were listed on purchase order separately. When purchasing a vehicle some items are cancelable and some are not. The warranty is a cancelable item but the widow tint is not a cancelable item, and that was disclosed to him at time of sale MrFigueroa has already been given instructions on canceling how to cancel the warranty Please let us know if there is any further information you may need. Equity Auto Center consider this matter to be resolved. Thank you

Mr*** can bring the car to Equity Auto Center and Equity will trade Mr*** out of the car and give him a fair Kelly Blue Book trade in value for the vehicle based on condition, witch we be-leave to be more than $dollars. I am writing this rebuttal for claim# *** against Equity Auto Center As stated earlier in the complaint I purchased a Nissan Quest from this business listed on October 1st and traded in a Ford FusionEquity Auto received the funding from the new lender for the Nissan (Flagship Finance) on October 5th, However...they waited over and a half months to payoff the company of my trade in which was Car FinanceIn fact it wasnt until I filed a complaint with the Revdex.com after days already of calling daily did they even begin to careI was instructed processing should take no longer then 30-days from the date of purchase and the trade in would be paid off by thenI spoke with several employees over and over asking to speak to management but they were never allowed to release his name or informationI finally reached the owner Steven D*** on Thanksgiving weekend in regards to this and he told me he had no clue why this hasn't been paid but would give me a call on MondayMrD*** never called me back to address this issue againI called back several times and spoke with several other associates by the name of Carlos and Robert I was told they would have a letter for me to send to my finance company to remove any late fees that were caused by there untimely processI never received a letter or a call backI received an email from the Revdex.com informing me finally the car had been paid and equity auto had a check waiting for me for the amount paid on the trade in while waiting for a payoffThe letter stated the check was waiting for me at equity auto and could either be mailed or Sent outI called equity auto to ask how I could obtain the check the Revdex.com had informed me was ready, I was told there was no such check and they didn't know who I was or what I was talking aboutI requested to speak to a manager, I was transferred to MrD*** who insisted he didnt know what I was talking about and there was no checkI informed Steven that I would once again contact the Revdex.com to get this resolvedAbout five minutes passed after my conversation with MrD*** before he called my wife to say a check was waiting for her to pickup even though the car had been in my name not hersUpon my wife picking up the check she was told the check had been there since October which was clearly a lie since the check date was noticeably altered to adhere to the companies fraudulent storiesThe last time I spoke with MrD*** he acted as if there was no problem with the way I had been treated or the late fee on my credit report because the car had finally been paid offI asked to speak to MrD***'s manager to resolve issues I had experienced and to obtain the letter I was promised to have the late fee removed from my creditMrD*** stated he would not be able to give me that information instead he could write an email to have the manager contact me to discuss the issues and concerns I was havingI have yet to hear from MrD*** or his managerMy credit was effected by this leaving me with a day late payment and dropping my credit score significantlyI would like the letter I was promised immediately to aid in disputing and removing this from my credit report

The loan has been paid in full, however; I still have not received the Extended warranty information, and Gap information I
purchased from Equity Auto CenterI spoke to Ashely, who said she will mail them out to my address, did not received them, then on 7/29/16 I called again and spoke to Cindy, she said she will mail the info. to me, that they usually mail to customers after days of purchase, well, the purchase date is July 5, 2016, is way past the days, and I'm still waiting for the documents
