I did receive the check for $2,000. However, I do not plan
to endorse it yet as it is stamped “By endorsing this check you agree to this
settlement and that your refund has been paid in full.”
 
I last spoke to you on Friday, January 2, 2015. We arranged to speak later that
day to have you pay my maintenance fee for 2015 for [redacted] on a conference
call. When I called you were not available, I called [redacted] and learned
they do not accept payments over the phone, I left you two voice mails and later
an email with a copy of the Maintenance Fee Invoice (copy attached) and have
not heard back from you. If you do not pay the total $673.44 by Monday evening,
January 12, 2015 I will
have to pay the $168.36 for the 1st quarter myself and you can then send
me a check for the entire amount of $673.44 and I will pay the balance later.
 
If you would like to spell out step by step what we
discussed from beginning to end I will agree to sign something to get this
settled. Please state in that agreement that it will supersede any other
signature/endorsement.

LGI has attempted to reach out to the...

client in order to validate the customer claims in this open file. We have had limited success in discussing the file with the client as we were "hung up" on during our customer service call (prior to reaching an amicable solution).  
1. After reviewing all documents, audio recordings, and notes on this account, there is no indication that we are in default of this agreement nor do we have any proof that would substantiate any of the claims relayed by the client.  
2. The LGI customer care team (as well as our corporate headquarters) was not made aware of any potential complaint with the handling of this client or the file  prior to receiving this Revdex.com notice.

I am currently reviewing all of the agreements and facts as they have been presented. I will contact the client shortly after the new year to work on a mutually satisfactory resolution.

Despite our best efforts to have substantive dialogue (in order to substantiate the clients claims) we have been unable to reach an agreement that will allow us to move forward with this client. We are offering a release from our legal agreement and a return of funds within 15 business days of receipt of the clients notarized general liability release along with a confidentiality agreement.  This will be sent to her email at [redacted]

 The offer does not tell me how the 4 timeshares that we own will be transferred from our name and when. For all we know from this offer we may still own them next year and will be responsible for another set of maintenance fees.
Last July we did not reach out to Leisure Getaways help us. They contacted us to provide a solution to our timeshare ownership problem. We did not want another timeshare but as was proposed to us that would be a tool toward getting us out from the ownership of the 4 that we had. All of the time shares are easily transferable, if someone is willing to be the new owner and accept that responsibility. We were persuaded that Leisure Getaways or Crown Resorts would be the transferee.
If Leisure Getaways are not able to transfer these 4 timeshares from our names we request that they make us whole. We keep the 4 timeshares but transfer the Crown Resort timeshare from our name and return the amount that we paid.

I can only speak for myself but I have closed on 2-3 timeshares with this company. My experience has been positive and the closing was done in a reasonable time frame. The biggest thing that I had an issue with was I thought communication could have been better and more frequent. .

We have agreed to a mutual agreement f a partial refund ($2000) and we shall pay the MF on trade prior to 1/15

I want to commend Benjamin [redacted], the Customer Care Supervisor for Leisure Getaways, Inc. I had a concern and he took the time to look into it for me and resolved it to my satisfaction! He was professional, understanding, and caring.
In addition, I have always had positive experiences when calling and speaking to representatives from this company. ( A special thanks to Ashley [redacted])
