We have explained to *** *** the difference in the way that we calculate the square footage and the way that *** *** *** *** calculates the square footage. *** *** does not add the footage for the stair cases and landings. This is the reason for the
difference. Mr*** has not owned this home for over years and he admitted that he sold the home for more than *** *** appraised it for. We will not respond to any further comments from Mr*** regarding this issue

While we are sorry that the homeowner has experienced issues with their HVAC units, Lennar has addressed their concerns. We have also had our HVAC contractor check the units for excessive noise and they have been to be within tolerance. I believe the issue is where the units are
located. Because there are units, there are only certain areas where they can be located. To prevent drainage issues and because of the community restrictions on the location of the fences, these units are located just outside the master bedroom. Even though the walls are heavily insulated, there will be times, particularly at night when everything else is quiet, when the stanoise from the units can be heard inside the home. Unfortunately, the units can not be re-located and nothing further can be done since the noise level is within industry standards

They state that all of issues were resolved and that we did not give the new construction team an opportunity to correct the issuesThese statements are conflicting, first of allSecond of all, we were NOT given any kind of option for a new construction teamThis concept is something we had never been brought up to us in the past even in the slightestIf this is one of their defense tactics, I find that erroneous and highly unethicalWe were given our builder, Mark, and were told that there was no way to directly contact him, and that we would have to go through Kelly ***, our sales representativeAfter severe lack of communication while continuing the building process, we were given no options and were told "since Mark thought everything was fine, not to worry about it." Via email, nonetheless.Third of all, they state that the issues were correctedHow were all of the issues corrected when they had initially been covered up by the sheet rock after we asked them to hold off on labor for one day in order to discuss the matters found by a third party inspector? Mark, the builder, stated that we contacted him too late and that he couldn't stop the sheetrock process or they would fall behind scheduleThe issues WERE NOT corrected, they were covered up by the sheetrockThere were minor issues, such as the flooring, that were able to be correctedHowever, NONE of the big issues were corrected, they were covered upQuickly.We are extremely disappointed in the way Lennar runs its businessQuality goes completely to the wayside in order to build as many production homes in the fastest amount of time possibleNo, Daris, we are not frustrated that our dream home wasn't exactly as we imagined itWe have a thorough distaste and disapproval of how the promise of a quality home gets lost and how the end result is cut corners and a poor jobAnd that's on LennarNOT usTHIS is why we will be getting our deposit back.Lenar really needs to reassess itself as a businessI have noticed that we aren't the first to complain about your qualityI'm not sure how you can continue as a company comfortably, knowing what you deliver is calibers below what you promiseShortchanging people and scamming them out of their money in order to build as many homes as possible does not seem to be a good business model to me

We are sorry that the homeowner is not pleased with the outcome of our investigation of their issue. We had the microwave installation checked by the manufacturer and it was found to be properly installed at the correct height above the cooktop. The homeowners were informed that one way
to help the situation would be to cook items on high heat on the back burners rather than on the front burners. This would direct the highest heat to the rear of the microwave. We have installed this microwave in the exact location in hundreds of other homes and have never received this complaint. We are sorry that we can not do anything further

made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint VB claimed that they are working on my issue , This is how they take care of my warranty for the past days:Day one : the same warranty personnel came by my house about a month ago came again couple days ago looking on my new warranty issue , he was surprise that the things that was brought to his attention last time was still not resolved , when I reminded him or pointed out some of my previous concern still not taken care, his response was either this is not cover under warranty or I need get with mike( project supervisor )over this.He is here today only to look at my new issue.Day two : I waited the whole entire afternoon , they send one person by to change one front door glass (mins) I still have about more.Day three : Waited again the entire afternoon, they send a personal by to fix my door (mins)There are still a lot of things that need to be complete .They make me take the whole entire afternoon off so they can send a person to come in to do one thing .I am not sure how many more days is it going to take to do the rest of the things or if they are trying to put things off .Two things for sure ,With the way this is going ,I need to put in a lot of time off request to take time off from work and remind them what they keep forgetting.Since I closed my house the day before Thanksgiving , I have no confidence on anything they promised VB gave me a house that has construction dirt throughout the entire house which they have promised me it will be clean by the time I closed my home that night, it wasn't .I have clean my whole entire house over the Thanks giving holiday including cleaning dirty restrooms that their staff member used .some of the things on my current list was promised be fixed before closing or right the way after closing ,they are still telling me they are working on ittoday , over a month now

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint My biggest mistake ever was I trusted the VB representative who did the walk through with me that afternoon before closing.The reason I trusted him was because of VB past reputationWhat I didn't expect was a bunch of empty promises or lies saying the house will be fixed and ready to be deliver by the time I returned back from closingThat same night after closing ,My wife and I when back to our new house found it full of dirt and dust , many areas were still left same not repair plus more problems than where we left it during the walk through before closing ; trash in rooms and many new problems such as dents and scratches everywhereI called VB customer service multiple times and left messages wanted them help me , they didn't return any of my phone callsI also send them emails , they did responded back to me saying they can not take phone calls and I need submit a warranty request by email which I couldn't figure out why since some of my issues weren't there during walk through and some of these problems weren't suppose to happen from the beginning. Regardless, I submitted my request trying to get VB to complete their repair work.Their district manager D_ _ _ _ _ _did call me few days later after he read my email promise me he will get this resolvedImmediately, workers did came by and start on some of the work for about couple weeks , then all works stops againWe are now on number 7th week They still have incomplete work from the original list that was suppose been done from the beginning . They even told me now saying it is too late on some of the repairs I pointed ,nothing they can do about it now To sum this up, It is very difficult for me to trust them up to this point because of what they say vs what they doFor this reason , I am going to keep rejecting until their work is completed.At this time , I am not asking them to make me a happy customer because I don't think that is going to happen especially after what VB did to me and my family throughout this processI just want them to finish their work and give me my life back This is not VB I know or remember , I am definitely a very disappointed customer

As previously stated, the homeowner never submitted a service request during the warranty period under which drainage would have been covered In addition, our current weather conditions would prevent any drainage issues due to the excessive heat we have been experiencing and lack of rain The only drainage issues we have seen were primarily being caused by homeowners over watering Cutting back on the watering times and only watering minutes a zone and minutes down the side of the home has eliminated any drainage issues we have received We recommend the homeowner check his sprinkler settings and make these changes.Daris ***Director of Customer CareLennar
