The above vehicle has returned to LG on 4/3/15 and is being evaluated for the check engine light concern and same is not accident related at this point that occurred 2 years, [redacted] Service manager has been communicating with drop off contact on the progession of the repairs...

I apologize and by no means is it any scam , We need to verify coverage of the driver in possession of our vehicle that they are fully covered by insurance prior to releasing a rental vehicle to them , If by some chance they don't meet our insurance policy standards then our alternate would be to supply same a rental through enterprise.  I will have my team contact you to make these arrangements

Lester Glenn Ford has decided to refund the customer back as a goodwill gesture even though the repairs are not related and the initial repairs were satisfactory for approx. 2 months prior to another part failure.

I am rejecting this response because:I spoke to both Erica and John at Lester Glenn this morning (August 3).  Erica is quite useless and in denial.  She reads the script from [redacted] Corporate. [redacted] and she are well aware that the car is dangerous and unsafe to drive.  When that fact was brought to her attention, she deflecting when I asked her if she would let her daughter drive such an unsafe vehicle.  John from Lester Glenn at least admitted he would not.  It's the old runaround game.  [redacted] points to the dealer, the dealer blames corporate  The idea that they can't replicate the issue on the spot, while true is, nevertheless not a solution.  The code is P070c.  There are dozens of websites and [redacted] advisors on these websites trying to rectify the issue.  [redacted] has a program 14Mo2 basically admitting the issue exists and they issued letters saying they would make the repair.  The car has multiple transmission issues.  This is the 6th visit to the dealer.  Both issues have one thing in common, the TCM (transmission Control Module).Let's exercise some logic here.  Where did I get the code?  Did I make it up?  Was it not seen by a repair shop who towed the car to Lester Glenn?  Was my daughter terrified that she had no control over the accelerator on the vehicle? Did I not provide John with links to videos and websites outlining thousand of [redacted] owners with the same concern.  Erica is a Regional Manger who refuses to even admit that there are those above her who can authorize a repair. What neither tell you is that the only thing preventing a repair is that Lester Glenn has to provide a printed code in order for [redacted] to reimburse them.  The issue is that the code is pre-programmed to erase itself.  They have a lame excuse why it isn't in the memory.  Odd how a computer has no code in memory, Their response was to try to imply the repair shop erased it.  Makes no sense then why would the repair shop tow it to them. They the repair shop gains nothing.  They know the car was under an extended transmission warranty.  So does thousands of others.  There are websites and technicians from [redacted] who are on record as stating that once the vehicle is shut off the code self erases.  The Check Engine light was on the morning it was towed. [redacted] has still not fixed my vehicle and now I'm inconvienced to have to rent a car on my vacation for 475 for 15 days when I should be able to have my 2011 Jeep Wrangler to take. This is an on going issue with [redacted] since being paid by my auto insurance to fix my vehicle properly back in June and July of 2013.The service manager has not taken the initiative to talk to me and my check engine light is still on in my jeep!!! And hasn't shut off. [redacted] was paid over 5000 to fix my jeep and they still haven't fixed it right. I have been back there over a dozen times. Their service advisor was rude as can be to me and the service manager made a comment stating..." You should be happy it was fixed for free". Obviously it's not fixed. I Need your help please. Tell us why here...We have driven the vehicle approx. 100 miles to date and have not been able to duplicate the concern hence [redacted] not allowing LG to perform any repairs until the problem is duplicated , I apologize for giving you the answer your not welcome to hear , We will continue to attempt to duplicate the concerns we also have time into the situation and would like to make the nessary repairs to put all minds at ease.  if your not happy with the anwers being told to you  by Lester Glenn  I would recommend you contact to [redacted] Motor as you have already.

299 doc fee + $10 out of state temp tag = $6809    The problem was, you were not paying cash although that's what you told us. Please understand that a credit union check is not cash, its a loan. Since its a loan you can not have the title and do your own MV work. The credit union will not clear the check to us until they receive the title and put a lien on it. Since that was the case, your purchase order instead would look like this..... $6500 + 390 tax + 299 doc + 400 estimated MV = $7589. The MV fee is an estimate since we are not a ** dealer. Any over payment on MV would be sent back to you with the actual receipt from our out of state MV agency showing you the exact charges. I hope that clears up the difference and I sure wish that could have been explained to you in person at the time you were at our store.

Review: I brought my 2006 Ford Focus in on 09/17/15 because the of the air vent would not change. They told me they needed to replace the control unit and it would cost about $300.00. I agreed and it was replaced. They charged me $228.00 for labor and $62.39 for the part.

About a week later I noticed the control was getting hard to turn once again. I made an appointment on 11/19/15 since they have a three month warranty on parts. They told me it needs a new A/C, heater box that cost $1,700 but would take off the $310.72 I paid in Sept.. I refused service and explained it is too much money for a know and age of my car. The service manager said he would charge me $700.00 after complaining too much money to have the car fixed. I kept calling and told them I want to be reimbursed some of my $310.72 since they misdiagnosed the problem and my car is still in the same condition as it was in Sept. They were not thorough with what was wrong with the car and I was not told the fix was only temporary. After a couple of weeks of not getting any results calling, I went and spoke to the service manager in person and told me it's only a couple hundred a

Review: I was initially coming in for a complimentary tire rotation to match an offer by [redacted] tire.

While I was there, I decided to add a light bulb change on the driver's side mirror turn signal bulb.

After **2 HOURS** I got my vehicle back and there was electrical tape hanging the turn signal lens onto the side mirror...

The clip had broken and was never replaced. [redacted] and the mechanic claimed that it was broken before and I guess gave them reason to use electrical tape instead?!

So I received my vehicle in a condition worse than what it was. I paid $35 to have my turn signal pop out of the mirror because the bracket is broken. $35 was supposed to just replace a turn signal bulb...

This happened May 30, 2014 and I still have to pop my turn signal lens in every time because it was going to cost me $130 to order the whole assembly...Desired Settlement: I want my 2004 [redacted] aviator driver side mirror turn signal lens bracket to be fixed. If it means replacing the whole thing then so be it.

Review: June 2011 I purchased a 2009 Chevy Malibu Lt with 12000 miles or so on it....2 months later it was in the shop for almost a month for transmission problems. Had to replace transmission along with a radiator and stabilizer arm and belt. Back in again for more transmission problems. I had contacted state of NJ about lemon law and my car would have qualified but wasn't because of the delivery of the first owner (not exactly sure what that means). Had asked for a copy of the carfax when this happened they said I should have it and I do not and another one was never provided. Car has never run the same again, told from service that there is nothing wrong that the car has to get used to me driving it. All my sales guys knew I was unhappy and wanted to do something, their response to me, don't worry we'll take car of you. Well a month ago I went back in to see if I could trade it in to get rid of it and they came out (same sales guy as before) with a quote for more money, higher percentage rate and could do nothing to help me with my car! Now a week ago I go into same company different make (Mazda) and find out my car has been in 2 accidents 6 months apart prior to me taken ownership! They told me that I should have been given a copy of the carfax with my initials on all the pages showing that I read it! They never gave me a carfax showing the accidents and I never initialed any paperwork! I never would have purchased this vehicle knowing it was in 2 accidents! I was told by the Mazda salesman that my car will not be resold but will go to auction! I do not know why that wasn't done in the first place?! I've been in contact with several people including Chairman, [redacted] and the President, [redacted], of the company and nothing has happened!Desired Settlement: I really wasn't looking for much....wanted them to take the car back so that I free and clear to start again and buy a New car from them again! I wasn't even going to another dealership, I was staying in the [redacted]. But now seeing as how I keep getting the run around from everyone there and not getting any answers.....I might just want my down payment of $2800.00 back, them taking over my car or buying it back so I can go to a different dealer and start fresh. I'm not going to continue making expensive payments on a car that is unreliable and a nuisance.
