I would accept the terms of their offer, but it hasn't been done. The $33 has yet to be refunded.  They need to make that happen immediately. I'm disappointed that they have wasted so much of my time, and refuse to offer any further compensation for that.

I am rejecting this response because: This was money I paid and was placed as a refund onto a store credit card. It was not a gift card I received but rather was my money that now has been used because The Limited somehow released the number and permitted the entire balance to be used by keying in the digits in a state I have never been to! Essentislly, The Limited is saying my money is gone because they allowed the digits of the card to be used. Please see the emails and receipt, card photo for the details I have explained to The Limited. This is completely unfair and The Limited got the benefit of my money and I have absolutely nothing to show for it. I would not have agreed to accept a store credit if I was told there was a chance The Limited would do this.

We do have the original call from
when the customer called in to do the rapid exchange. (if needed)
Unfortunately the customer didn't
mention what card the return credit would be issued to (as stated below in her
complaint)
She mentions below that
she
asked for clarification several times
she didn't ask at all. There was no
"promise" to issue the refund to any particular card
Our agent let the customer know that
we would issue the refund to her card once the pants were returned This
would be going as our policy statesWhat card was used for the transaction
would be the card that is refundedCustomer used a gift card for the original
transaction
The customer also contacted us
on 03/05/2016. We advised the credit was issued back to the same gift
card. The customer told us that she no longer had the gift card – it was
thrown away.
The agent advised that a new gc
would be issued.. On 03/a new gift card was processed for $52.14,
and is being sent to her The Limited

I am rejecting this response because:I HEARD, AT LEAST 5 TIMES, YOUR REPRESENTATIVE SAYING "WE DON'T KNOW WHEN YOUR ORDER WILL BE SHIPPED", "WE DON'T KNOW IF YOU WILL GET BEFORE CHRISTMAS"!!! THAT IS UNACCEPTABLE!!!

Unfortunately this gift card in question has already been
used at another location. When a card has been “lost or stolen” which the
customer still has in her possession, The Limited does not replace the funds. Unfortunately
we will not be able to add the funds back to the gift card in question....

I contacted The Limited prior to filing for bankruptcy via Twitter, email, and phone but never received a response.  I did not receive a response until after bankruptcy was filed.  Now I have no recourse and am out the funds and product.  This is ridiculous!
