I have never, in my life, felt more taken advantage of. My furnace was old and not working. I called a tried and true local, mom and pop company that I had used for years. I was diverted to this office as they had purchased the small mom and pop company. Because of this, I thought that I could trust them and not shop around. They told my that I needed to replace my air conditioner and my furnace. I believed them and paid them $10K on the spot for a new HVAC system. They installed several components wrong, some of which they did come out over the next 2 weeks and fix. The biggest problem was that they never hooked the condensation line up to the drain, therefor the furnace drained all the bi-product water in to my attic until it caved in my ceiling and ran down my walls. I called and called and they told me that it was my fault that this had happened and were not coming out to fix it. Now they won't even take my phone calls. This all started in February of 2019. Just this month I have received registration paperwork for warranty. I called Lennox to register my equipment, because it has been greater than 60 days, I can no longer register my new(ish) expensive equipment and am not eligible for any warranty. My ceiling is hanging down still and just now I also received county inspection requirement paperwork. I immediately called for an inspection, 11 months late! The county inspector found several installation mistakes.

We apologize that this issue has not been resolved in a more timely manner. We have addressed and corrected the inspection corrections. We have contacted our drywall specialist to go to Ms. home to assess the damage and outline what repairs need to be made. As soon as we receive his report, we will reach out to Ms..

Lion reps came out a year ago. We are both in our eighties and do not want anything going wrong. My husband wanted more heat to go to the bath at the back of the house. They added something to the boiler and two HUGE new hot water heaters. (we never were out of hot water with the older smaller ones) We have been informed by three different companies since then that we did not need them. We paid over $5500 for the work. Now they returned to "check out the water heaters and boiler". This time we were told that the burner was turned so high that it had burned through the unit above or below it. Also that the pipes were needing replacement or they would explode and cause more damage. Our lives were in peril. This cost was to be $18,100.00.
How can you give an excellent rating to crooks? We are old but not stupid. We simply called another person who checked everything and said it is all in good shape. John & Janet J

Lion Home Service serviced my furnace. As part of that service, the UV light bulb needed to be replaced. The bill for servicing was extremely more than I had anticipated. When I looked at the bill, there was a charge for $843 for the UV bulb. I checked online and found that UV bulbs are generally in the $45-65 range. I documented this and sent it to Lion Home Service. A week or so later I received a call from Corey (a manager?) who agreed that I was overcharged and that I had probably received an entire new UV system, not just a bulb. The service guy made no mention that the entire system had been replaced...and I didn't need an entire new system. I simply needed a replacement bulb. Corey contacted me before Christmas and said that someone would be contacting me about resolving this issue. It's now mid-January and I haven't heard from them.

I called and called and they told me that it was my fault that this had happened and were not coming out to fix it. Now they won't even take my phone calls. This all started in February of 2019. Just this week I have received registration paperwork for warranty. I called Lennox to register my equipment, because it has been greater than 60 days, I can no longer register my new(ish) expensive equipment and am not eligible for any warranty. So now they have screwed my out of that, my ceiling is hanging down still and just now I also received county inspection requirement paperwork. I have reported them to the building code department for Larimer county. I feel stupid for getting myself in to this mess. I hope this and every other bad review will save the next person from this awful company. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!!!

I had a new furnace install. Scheduling was confusing and difficult. After the install, I had concerns re-the safety and function of the new furnace. Scheduling was more confusing, with calls often not returned and many delays. The technician was extremely rude and condescending. My questions were dismissed, and my concerns were never addressed. There was no follow up despite the fact I have been a total care customer for years. As a senior, I was especially disappointed with the lack of service.

Lion us by far the best company to work with.

Chuck was able to solve our water heater plumbing problem after a couple others could not figure it out!! Recirculating system that we operate intermittently was causing cool water to come out instead of hot, with our new hot water heater. Apparently a back flow problem. Lion service got it taken care of right away! Very professional.

Everyone we've been in contact with at Lion (from the gentleman we met at Home Depot to the woman on the phone to the technician who came to the house) has been great. We have an old furnace and I was expecting them to tell me it needed to be replaced - but they did an inspection and everything looked good (same thing we were told when it was serviced last year by a different company). Andy was thorough and honest - will call them again. Thank you!

Technician was really delayed in getting there and I had to call to find out what was going on; problem with dispatch they said. But then he was courteous and professional. Didn't charge me or even recommend anything beyond the water heater check and flush that was covered by warranty.

We were fortunate to have a gentleman named Wes come to the house for same-day service check! He was able to diagnose the issue quickly and even showed us what was wrong. I especially appreciate that lion home service send me an image of who's going to be coming to my house and I love the fact that all these people are background checked! Quick, knowledgeable, and safe service!

I think Lion's upsells people. They found things they thought I needed and used soft 'strong arm' tactics to push me into installing them. Nice guys but pushy and not to forthright.

So sorry you feel that way judith. We went out there after you had no electricity in part of your house and no heat on a 15yr old furnace. We installed you a new furnace and brought things up to code. We will always recommend safety items because we are ethically required too.

They service techs were here to make sure which parts they needed and then it only took them a few minutes to finish the job.
