The loan from Loan me is a predatory loanI need a contact in Maryland that can walk me through what needs to be done to cancel itTHye have been paid in full and made plenty of interest

The problem is the harassing calls that are made to my place of work and also to my I'll mothers home. Also I don't deny the fact that I owe the debt incurred however the downplay mentioned of is too steep for me to make all at once .then turn around and have to pay dollars a month.I think it's a scam to be honest with you.and they want me to pay pack 18,dollars from a dollar loan.they are unwilling to work with my indivisible need.like I said the calls during my work hours and to my job is ridiculous.I'm willing to pay but I need a chance to pay lower payments a month.I had issues concerning hardships and my bank account that would not allow for me to abide under the initial agreement.please help

I took out a loan on November 11th, for $Annual percentage rate is Making my monthly payments $The total amount of the loan would be $16,I paid one or two payments and then couldn't afford it anymore, so they went to court to garnish my wages on May 2nd, They starting garnishing my paycheck every two weeks in Septemeber of for $They did this until January of and I was told by my employer that it was paid off in fullAll of a sudden LoanMe employee Ashlee Flores contacted my employer and said that they are still interest /fess that has not been paid in the amount of $SHe said it might be attributed to a daily interest/fees charged by the ** *** *** DepartmentOn the Earning Withholding Order, they sent me it clearly states the *** Fee is $

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I do not agree with LoanMeLoanMe needs to provide myself and the Revdex.com with the dates that I have missed my months payments month's consectively (days)I have never missed making my monthly payments for months in a rowThat would constitute a CHARGE OFF/Write OffA company cannot decide to arbitrarily decide what a CHARGE OFF means and when they can use itAlso, I paid every penny that I borrowed from companyI did not "SETTLE" for a lessor amountI am requesting that the CHARGE OFF be removed from my credit reportI am going to pursue this is court just like they tried to pursue it with me
A charge-off or chargeoff is the declaration by a creditor (usually a credit card account) that an amount of debt is unlikely to be collectedThis occurs when a consumer becomes severely delinquent on a debtTraditionally, creditors will make this declaration at the point of six months without paymentA charge-off is a form of write-off

I got a loan thru loanme.com After receiving the loan I was required to make my first payment by February 1st I called loanme.com and made my first payment on January 19th, in the amount of Loanme.com then took another payment of on February 1st So basically they took the money out of my account even though I submitted my first payment of on January 19th I have outstanding checks that are going to be returned because of loanme.com's accounting mistake They then proceed to tell me that I needed to provide proof that the payment was taken out of my account I should not have to do this they should have record of my payment on my account and should not have taken a duplicate payment on February 1st This has put me in a bad situation Loanme.com then decides not to immediately refund the duplicate payment and asked me to come up with all the information in regards to the payment This in unethical on so many levels Not only is loanme.com

On 12/1/2016, I took out a personal loan of $($+ $loan fee)Monthly payments were to be $388.40/month for monthsThe 1st payment was due on 1/1/I made a request to change my due date to the 15th of each month, making the 1st payment due on 1/15/On 12/1/2016, I made an principal only payment of $to lower the balanceThe balance was then reduced to $with a daily interest of $On 1/15/2016, Loanme manually reduced my 1st monthly payment to $from $and appled it to interest onlyThe interest due at that time would have been $(x days)The monthly payment's I agreed upon would have covered all interest dueBecause Loanme manually lowered my monthly payment, it left a "past due" interest balance of $This in turn has made all future payments go towards interest only as Loanme has created this past due interestI have attempted to reach them in regards to them changing my payment and not applying the paymen

LoanMe, Inc(“LoanMe”) is in receipt of the customer’s reply, however she does not raise an issue or concernIf the customer has new facts or additional information that was not already considered, LoanMe would be glad to review such information

In February of this year, I made a business loan through Loan Me Incfor $ I did get the loan in my account days later, but did not get the terms until days after that After the money got into my account, I made purchases with the monies When I finally got the terms, I found out that I would be paying from cents to $towards the balance of the loan and the rest of the money would be towards the interest The first payment I made in April was for about 910.00, and saw that I now owe $ The person I talked with said that it would be a higher interest rate loan, but I did not know that it would be that high, and only found out after I got the terms of the loan a couple days later IF I know this, I would have never gone through with the loan I have already written a letter to the FTC as well This is not good business practice by giving people the terms of the loan days later after they put the money into your account

LoanMe, Inc(“LoanMe”) is in receipt of the consumer’s above-referenced complaint, and we welcome this opportunity to respond to help clarify and resolve the matterPlease allow this to serve as our formal responseOur records indicate that on December 22, 2015, the consumer applied as an
individual applicant via an online application and was approved for our $60,non-homeowner’s loan programOn December 24, the applicant informed LoanMe that she wanted to be considered for our homeowner’s loan program. In order to confirm homeownership, LoanMe requested a copy of the mortgage note or the title for the property owned. She provided the mortgage note for a property, which did not include her nameThe applicant confirmed the mortgage note and the title for the property did not include her name, and she offered to send us a copy of her marriage certificateOur agent told the applicant that a marriage certificate would not suffice, and that per LoanMe’s credit policy her name must be on the mortgage note or recorded on the title in order to be eligible for the homeowner loan programThe applicant informed our loan agent that she would get her name added to title and asked the agent to call her back on Wednesday, December 30, At no point in the telephone conversation did the applicant ask our loan agent to check with his supervisor prior to the applicant taking additional steps, nor did a supervisor or the agent ever confirm that the consumer would be eligible for the program by adding her name to the title after already having appliedOn December 29, 2015, at the applicant’s request, the loan agent’s manager called the applicant. The manager informed the applicant that a Grant Deed document executed on 12/24/and sent by the applicant was not acceptable, because the applicant’s ownership interest in the property had to be recorded on title prior to the application date for the applicant to be eligible for the homeowner’s program loanLoanMe made every effort to help the applicant produce documents that would render her eligible for the homeowner loan program. The applicant also asserts, that during the same conversation a manager denied allowing the applicant to speak to the Director of the department. The manager attempted to transfer the call to the Director, however the Director was not available at that time. The manager reiterated in a subsequent conversation that LoanMe must adhere to underwriting guidelines regarding the homeowner’s loan program and that the applicant was still qualified for the non-homeowner loan During the December, 29, conversation the applicant demanded a ‘denial’ letter stating that she was denied for the homeowner’s loan. The manager explained that if the approved non-homeowner’s loan is not accepted an adverse action letter will be generated within days of the application date. The manager suggested that the applicant contact Customer Service if she would like a custom letterLoanMe takes great care in assisting our applicants in the application process, and ensuring that they fully understand the programs for which they are eligibleWe thank you for this opportunity to respond, and hope that we have helped to clarify the matter for our customerIf the consumer has additional questions or concerns, she may contact LoanMe directly at ***

LoanMe, Inc(“LoanMe”) is in receipt of the customer’s above referenced complaint, and we welcome this opportunity to respond to help clarify and resolve the matterPlease allow this to serve as our formal response. Our records indicate that the customer agreed to an unsecured small business loan
on March 14, in the amount of $5,minus a origination fee.A review of the payment transaction history reflects that LoanMe has accurately accounted for payments made to the customer’s loan, as well as the balance owedThe customer defaulted on numerous payments and the last payment was made on April 15, As a result, the loan was charged-off on September 30, and was correctly reported to the credit reporting agency as such.As with most loans, and consistent with the amortization schedule provided to him, payments made towards the beginning of a loan have a greater portion of the payment allocated toward interest and less towards principalOver time, and as the loan is paid down, a larger portion is allocated to principal until the loan is paid in fullThe customer did not make his regularly scheduled payment and therefore has not seen a significant decrease to the principal balance.LoanMe sent several notifications of the delinquent account to the email our customer provided during his application for the loan, and the customer confirmed this to be a valid emailLoanMe also made several attempts to call the customer to secure a payment arrangement, however all of those attempts went unansweredWe reviewed the few calls that took place and found none that would be considered rude or unprofessional. In closing, we would like to thank you for this opportunity to respond, and hope that we have helped to clarify the matter for our customer regarding the statements made in his complaintIf our customer has additional questions or concerns, he may contact LoanMe directly at 844-764-7368.Tell us why here

June is when I received a loan from "Loan me" for $I've paid $over the past months ....and my bill is still $ I would like to know if this is fair

I found myself in a rare situation in being cash poor when a parent had a heart attackNot knowing any better, I borrow money from LoanMe, knowing I'd pay it back in two automatic paymentsI received the funds, paid the loan back in the two automatic payments, received paperwork stamped in full and then received an overpayment refundSuddenly, over the past week I've experienced over collection phone calls in days and threatening emails stating they are trying to collect a debt and I owe moneyRepeated requests to speak to a manager fell upon deaf ears until I threatened to report them to the Revdex.com and to file a harassment lawsuitI'm still waiting for resolution and am very worried they will leave a black mark on my credit reportSTAY away from this shady, underhanded, unprofessional crooked business

LoanMe, Inc(“LoanMe”) has investigated this complaint, and confirms that LoanMe has committed no wrongdoing regarding the account. Nevertheless, we would like to apologize for any frustration that may have inadvertently been experienced by our customer regarding the account. Our records
indicate that our customer entered into an unsecured consumer installment loan with LoanMe in May-The Promissory Note clearly displayed the Truth in Lending Act (TILA) disclosures, including the Annual Percentage Rate (APR) and Total Finance ChargeThe Note additionally provided payment amounts and due dates, as well as a provision allowing prepayment of the loan, in part or in full, at any time without penalty. When the customer entered into the loan agreement with LoanMe, the customer was directed to read the Note in its entiretyAfter reviewing the Note, the customer electronically signed or initialed the Note in multiple locations, in accordance with the Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act (ESIGN)The third of the signatures represented the customer’s confirmation that the terms and conditions of the Note were read and understood. Contrary to the customer’s complaint, the customer originally requested a higher loan amount, but was subsequently approved for a lesser amountThe customer accepted the approved amount, and agreed to the terms of the loan Our records indicate that the customer made only one payment toward the loan, and became past due for the August-payment. When the customer contacted LoanMe for assistance after becoming unemployed, LoanMe provided assistance by offering the customer a forbearance arrangement, allowing half payments for two monthsWhile the forbearance arrangement qualification process involved asking questions of a financial and circumstantial nature to better understand the customer’s needs and situation, at no time was the customer harassed or belittled in any wayAdditionally, LoanMe takes pride in maintaining compliance with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), and state collection law requirements In summary, LoanMe has investigated the claims raised in this complaint and has concluded they are without meritHowever, as a courtesy and to help resolve the customer’s situation, LoanMe has extended, without obligation, a generous settlement offer to the customer to provide further assistanceWe urge our customer to contact us directly to take advantage of the offer

Although we would certainly like to respond to any complaint by our customer, as we did with other complaints she submitted to other organizations, we cannot do so here because there appears to be no bona fide complaint. Instead, she cites an alleged “enforcement action” filed by the California Department of Business Oversight. In fact, that proceeding related to the change of LoanMe’s name from Cash4Rent and a change in an office location. The Department of Business Oversight, however, dismissed that proceeding on its own volition, and in fact, the Department of Business Oversight has approved LoanMe’s name and location change. Moreover, nothing in the proceeding filed, then dismissed, by the Department of Business Oversight alleged that LoanMe was mistreating customers or otherwise engaging in unfair, deceptive or illegal practices against its customersIn closing, as this customer mentions considering the cancellation of automated payments, we would like to advise that this can be conveniently accomplished by notifying us in writing via fax (***) or email (***) soon enough to allow us a reasonable opportunity to act on the request (generally at least three business days in advance of the next payment withdraw)Thank you, and we appreciate the opportunity to respond
