This company is a joke First off, they prey on people with bad credit by charging a whopping 135% APR Luckily, it was only a loan until I got paid, so I wasn't charged an exorbitant amount of interest My complaint is with their customer service department First off, half the people I talk to had no idea what they were doing I was constantly asking for a supervisor Second, I overpaid on my loan by $ I called on Monday and spoke to a woman who told me it would be 2-business days until I was refunded It is now Friday and I am not refunded So I called again and spoke with someone who had no clue what she was talking about and kept asking me what date I paid the loan off I had her transfer me to a supervisor This supervisor told me that it would be 10-business days before I am refunded because they are sending me a paper check He said if I wanted it sent sooner I would have to pay a wire transfer fee of $ How ridiculous is that? What kind of business CHARGES someone who has paid them INTEREST for a REFUND?! So now I am out $for another 10-business days which means it could be calendar days This is not how they should treat a customer that just paid off a $3,loan IN FULL within the first month of getting it They need to properly train their customer service people to give the right information I was given information about when I would receive my refund I have never heard of a company waiting 10-business days to refund via papercheck It is
Complete SCAM artists!! They charge 180% interest so even though I pay $a month, only CENTS goes towards the principal amountAnd they don't let you borrow less than $so you're literally screwedThen, they posted an unauthorized charge of $to my account WITHOUT MY PERMISSION! Since I didn't have that money in my bank acct (obviously, thats why I'm borrowing) the bank returned the $and LoanMe charged a return payment fee, they are CRIMINALS and it's even illegal to charge 180% interestI'm getting a lawyer now and am taking them down!!!!
This is a jokeMy credit is - not great; but goodI applied for a personal loan for $10,to do some home improvement workThey told me I was approved and just needed to verify my bank accountAfter "verifying" my account four timesThey said it had only been open monthI have had the account for 20+ years and called the bankI called back my "Senior Loan Agent" Andre to tell him they were checking my wife's Christmas Club account and not our checking accountThen a Customer Service Rep called to ask me some questions to verify my identityI answered everythingHe said I would be getting a call from Andre with good newsI literally was hanging up with him - when I got the "decline" letterIndicated because of my credit score and delinquent accountI missed one payment of $back in Other then that, I have credit card, no loans, nothing....Amazed at the fact that they literally ran me through the ringer and after verifying my identity - declined me? what a jokeWhat is worse, I wasted an entire day dealing with these people, wasted part of my wife's day and all I got was a hard hit on my credit! Stay away!!
Loan me asserts; " New Mexico State statute requires a minimum 10-day grace period before a late fee can be imposedHowever, as a courtesy to our customer’s, LoanMe charges a late fee of $if/when payments are days lateLoanMe charges a $fee for returned payments, i.e., non-sufficient funds (NSF) when applicableAs an additional courtesy, we provided our customer with the option to have her payments electronically drafted on the 15th of the monthHowever, if a payment is made after the 15th of the month, it is considered late and a late fee will apply"
Does this look like compliance to this assertion:

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
When Agents from a company lie directly to you to make a deal or whatever it may be, is bad business and I believe that people need to know that about this companyThey will lie to you and have no problems doing it.

I am not sure how this company has a A+ Revdex.com rating A $loan but the payback is $16,000! I thought there were laws put in place that regulated the inflated interest rates of financial companies I am not naive and understand the concept behind the "low credit = high interest" to ensure financial institutions get their money, but this is shameful This company is taking over the top advantage of those people who may need some help in short time but will have to pay for years Something should be done!
I was scammed by online Nigerian who asked me to borrow from loanme and this loan will never be paid offI have already paid $and still have $more and will not live long enough to pay this They threaten me with lawsuit to pay them Have no understanding that I was a victim of this and have already paid more than original loan
I have a payday loan with Transpacific Currency Services on Redhill, Tustin, CAI asked about their loan productsThey usually recommend LoanMeI hesitated because I've had problems with their ethics practicesThey're unscrupulousThe staff assured me they claimed they will work w/TCS customersTheir clients don't have stellar credit with FICOs above Their incomes are typically lessMine is better but my FICO is lowAt their suggestion & great reluctance I applied on 7/19/You have to do it directly w/LM by phoneI spoke to Natalie at 5:PM @ (888) 891-***She said she was unable to get my app to go thru, had no idea why, would talk to her supervisor (at my insistence for a reason as to why) & call me back before she left at PMShe never did! No surpriseI told TCS of my experienceThey were shocked because that isn't what they were toldThey are being asked to promo LoanMe's product to their clientsAll LoanMe is doing is clocking numbers, running i
I took out a loan a few months ago of $2,600, I sent in a payment of $2,to pay it off and they are still charging me $because of interest chargesI dont think thios is appropiate, I would like my money back
I made a payment of $and change towards my loan on 3/25/and when I called on 3/30/to ask why the "payoff" $amount was different from the balance due $the csr advised me that it was because the $payment hasn't reflected yetShe also advised me that it was $and change of interest daily so it just didn't add up to the amount that was dueSo again she told me the payoff amount would be less the $so we came up with $and change and I rounded it up to $and the csr advised me that if there is any left over money from overpayment I would get a paper check separate from my payoff noticeThe whole purpose of me making a huge payment was to payoffI would not have chose to pay this large amount and still have a balanceI called again on Monday 4/4/(or so) because I noticed a balance due still and they said I owe $495...and I asked why after explaining my conversation w/ the previous csrThe csr said she will leave a message with a supervisor and ge
On July 6, I made an arrangement to *** (handling my account) to pay in full my balance of $5,to Loanme and it was approved by his manager and gave me a confirmation #*** After I paid in full my account and cleared from by bank, I checked my credit thru *** today, 7/online and I found out Loanme reported to the credit bureau that 'm late in the month of July I called them and let them know my account was paid in full and posted cleared in my checking account They keep insisted is the June but I told them no it showed it was on July After I paid and closed my account they reported I'm late It was a big negative impact to my credit score and I was so upset because I'm trying so hard to maintain may credit score in good standing I hope you can help me to resolve this problem from them and advise where should I go to report them
I received a letter dated April 17th, and not received until April 21st, from this particular company in regards to a settlement offer, which seemed straight forwardIt stated that the agreement had to be made by April 28th for the agreement to be active (not an initial payment)I called to agree to the settlement offer on April 27th and made a payment towards the May 1st payment due to the letter stating all payments are due the concurring 1st of each monthToday, May 8th as I was reviewing my email, and noticed I received an email reflecting that I was past due,so I called the company to ensure that I did in fact pay and to correct the issue at hand
Please note-I have had this happen to me a couple times before with the same company of where the payment made in the month before it was due was credited towards the present month instead of the allocated future month After calling to correct the discrepancy, the customer service rep stated the agreement had to be made by Apr

I had a loan with Loan me for the amount of $3,USD and I was paying on time, one month a was late on my payment and Loan Me sold my loan to a third party when the loan had more payments left for USD now aparently I owe the original amountI find this absurd, I contacted Loan me to tell them that I would pay the resting amount but very negative and firm on their stand said no
I called loanme to ask about getting a loan for a home improvement project I specifically asked about their fees and interest ratesI was told that they would need my credit information and they call back the following day and let me know what was available for me They called back the following day and offered me a totally ridiculous loan with an enormous initiation fee and very high interest rateI told the representative that the fees and interest was way too high and I wasn't interestedThe representative call back a few times and tried to get me to agree to getting this loan by discussing various pay back options which all amounted to a very bad dealA day later, I started getting emails saying that my loan application was being processedNow here it is a month later I get a letter stating that my loan is being rejectedI specifically told the representative that I was not interested in doing business with his company but he submitted a loan application anywayI don't appreciate an unnecessary loan inquiry on my credit especially by a company that is obviously ingauging in predatory lending tacticsBuyer beware of loanme
In February of this year, I made a business loan through Loan Me Incfor $ I did get the loan in my account days later, but did not get the terms until days after that After the money got into my account, I made purchases with the monies When I finally got the terms, I found out that I would be paying from cents to $towards the balance of the loan and the rest of the money would be towards the interest The first payment I made in April was for about 910.00, and saw that I now owe $ The person I talked with said that it would be a higher interest rate loan, but I did not know that it would be that high, and only found out after I got the terms of the loan a couple days later IF I know this, I would have never gone through with the loan I have already written a letter to the FTC as well This is not good business practice by giving people the terms of the loan days later after they put the money into your account
