Local Splash has thoroughly reviewed the client's account.There are a few discrepancies that should be clarified before moving forward, howeverIn the complaint, the client wrote (these are the client's exact words) " I PAID SOFAR OVER $FOR PROJECT AND I LOST REVENUE FOR PERIOD YEAR TOTALING $FOR WEBSITE AND SEP PROJECT AND LOSS REVENUE $TOTAL COMPENSATE DOLLORS $ 5800.00"What the client actually paid was $total: $for the website and $for local SEO.Because of the abamount of time it took to complete the client's website, we have offered the client a refund for the amount paid for his website onlyWe offered this refund in a private email sent to [email protected] have not received a response from the client as of the time of this posting

Did not provided services that were promised to meWhen I brought it to their attention, they refused to show me the work that was done and they refused to refund my moneyUnethical with a long line of bad reviews on the web

Local Splash would like to specifically address each of the points made by the client in the client’s latest response to make it clear that all of the work that we did was approved by the client and that it was done in a timely mannerWe have spent hours listening to each of the 20+ phone conversations between ourselves and the clientSome specifics of those conversations will be cited while addressing the client’s issuesAlso, we will cite our Terms and Conditions ( [redacted] ) while addressing the client’s issues “My ranking on the [redacted] pages is still the same as it was in the month of January when this dispute beganI am first on the [redacted] listing when you search for the key words "wedding videographer [redacted] ***"I have explained earlier that these keywords were decided by local splash, not meAnd I had also explained earlier that as a wedding photographer/videographer in New York, I would not have any benefit of being listed first with such key words.” Local Splash does our best to improve the rankings for our clientsThere is no guarantee of increased rankingWe do have a Performance Promise ( [redacted] section 5.1) which states: “Local Splash promises that it will apply a credit for Client’s next month of basic service if, after the second payment, Client’s business is not on the first page of a major search engine using any of your search phrases in your local area (e.gAttorney in Santa Rosa)It is the Client’s responsibility to call us before each eligible month’s billing date to receive said credit.” The purpose of the Performance Promise is to protect our clients from having to pay for our service if they are not seeing resultsThis client utilized the Performance Promise three times while he was an active client (11/3/2014, 1/3/2014, 2/3/2014)The client received a total of $worth of credit while utilizing our Performance Promise The client states that Local Splash decided on his keyword “wedding videographer [redacted] ***.” The client clearly states on multiple calls that he wanted the keyword “wedding videography.” During the Client Interview calls that took place between 8/4/and 8/6/2014, the client agreed to all of the keywords that we used in his campaignThe geographic modifier (“ [redacted] ***”) included in the search query is not part of a keywordBecause Local Splash creates local search engine optimization campaigns for our clients, the client can only expect to see increased exposure in their local area [redacted] and the other search engines determine “local area” based on a number of factors like, but not limited to: How much competition the client has, how well the client’s competition is search engine optimized, population density, etcReferring back to our Performance Promise, you can see that we clearly state, in writing, that the client should only expect to see increased exposure in their local area If Local splash says my position/listing on [redacted] pages was any different from what it is now, they should be able to show proof In the same way that I am asked to produce proof for my claimsI am repeating, Local Splash has to show proof that they have delivered what I have paid After extensive account review it was found that the referenced claims are due to a missunderstandingThis client has placement on the first page in his local area for multiple key wordsHis listings have been optimized with the keywords that the client verified on 08/06/when he called client supportThis is a successfull account in terms of placementThe client seems to be under the impression that his business should be showing up state wide and for keywords that Local Splash was not instructed to optimize forLocal Splash provides services that optimize locally and does not by any means misrepresent its servicesWe do understand that social conflicts often involve some misunderstanding, however at this time Local Splash has decided not to refund the client to whom services were rendered

I would have given them a zero, but that isn't possible I signed up with them March They charged me $for the first three months in advanceI was promised to be on the first page of google within daysThe sale rep even told me a joke"Where do you hide a dead body? On the second page of Google" It would probably be sooner I was toldIf for any reason I was not on the first page in days, they would not charge me until I was June My company is not on the first page of googleThey charged my card for $anywayWhen I called to complain, and get a refundThey told me they do not give refundsThey were sorry They charged me, but apparently I was suppose to contact them not to be charged if I was not on the first page! I remembered to call for JulyNo charge August my bank reissued new credit cardsI did not update Local SplashThey were very unhappy with me because my card did not workStill not on the first pageFrom then on I would get emails of no charge Finally today, I get a callThey are stopping my accountThey have had no success and are freeing me to go with someone elseI asked about a refundNot for the whole amountI went in with my eyes open and wrote off the $What I want is the $that should never have been taken They do not refund money over a year ago

The client signed up for Local Splash’s services on March 2nd, 2016, and was billed for the first month on 3/totaling $199.The client claims she was mislead into buying a website, when in actuality it was a landing page After reviewing all of the calls between Local Splash and the client, the sales agent used the term ‘webpage’, never website There seems to be a miscommunication between the client and sales agent When building the webpage/landing page Local Splash uses stock photos based on the industry of the client, until the client electronically sends pictures of their work done (please note no pictures were ever sent in by the client to use on the landing page, so stock photos were used) The client claims there is no links on the landing page When agent described these links he stated Local Splash would put links for [redacted] *, [redacted] , [redacted] , [redacted] , etc All of these links were included Again, it seems there was a miscommunication of the wording of what ‘links’ are between the client and sales agent When the client called in with questions about the account and landing page, she was not interested in uploading pictures of her work, going over the links that were there, and other issues, the client demanded a refund Local Splash is not able to provide a refund owing to the fact that many hours of work have already been done on this account:3/4/client completed the Client Interview.3/4/keyword verification, and photo request email sent.3/8/ [redacted] local placement verified.3/8/ [redacted] placement verified.3/8/***/ [redacted] ID placement verified.3/8/ [redacted] completed ready for promotionAt this time Local splash does not feel a refund should be authorized, due to the amount of work done on the account

The video the claimant refers too was "Live" as she states but the content of the video was correct - was only the Title tag of the email sent to her from YOU TUBE (Not Us) that was incorrectcontrary to her claim, this claimant has been coachedand not by GoogleHad Google been notified of any "3rd party disclosure violations" as she states, Google would have contacted us immediatelyWe stand by our original statement, we wish the claimant well

Claimant began his service with Local Splash February After review of notes and recordings, the claimant's service was cancelled because he had stopped paying usLocal Splash made several attempts to contact him, and make payment arrangements due to his financial hardshipAfter two months of non-payment Local Splash cancelled the service Local Splash had got the listing to Letter "A" Page one of [redacted] for Keywords "Dump", "Dumpster" "Hauling" "Junk removal" (keywords of his request) - The analytic s of his listing prior to cancelling showed over 30,impressions (the number of times he showed up in a search result) His response to the cancellation was, "I get more calls from [redacted] ***" In June the claimant started sending Local Splash threatening emails claiming his [redacted] and that if we did not give him his credentials he was going to sue usThe client was sent his credentials, however; we have no knowledge about his claim of calls for Auto PartsWe wish the claimant well and consider this matter closed

Don't Start with Local Splash as It Will NOT Help Your Business We have been with Local Splash for years (March - current); Not something I check on every day But I was promised an account team to make sure we are getting results It's been awhile since I looked at the dashboard (October 2014), and March 24, shows that they haven't updated the reports since November 19, (Yes over months ago) When I called (714) 481-spoke with a female- but didn't get her name - the first time - they said it was a glitch on their end and it would be fixed and be correct the next morning I checked the next morning, no change; Live Chatted with [redacted] ***, who "checked" on it Day 3, checked again, no change; then Called in and spoke with [redacted] 877-635-ext 1; he said he was escalating it to someone else and they had people working on it, but the problem was Google As they are a Google partner - asked what is taking so long to find out the tracking and statistics And why I'm barely on any page (on page for 2-keyword terms), on many other page 2, 3, 4, or more results when we are paying to be on the first page for key words? I also requested status updates of the problem; he said he couldn't do that; all we could do as look at the dashboard (which is not correct as already noted) So after being with Local Splash for 2+ years and them not getting promised results AND even the bogus reports they do give show that they cannot do what they promise....One Very Expensive Learning Experience for me - Please Save Yourself the Headache of Canceling (which is difficult do do), and Don't Start with Local Splash as it will not help your business DO NOT USE LOCAL SPLASH
