1. Did not know that I was signing up for a subscription. Charged me twice, approx 389. Did not allow me to return the 2nd shipment.
I signed up for a trial for a small price. I did not know they were going to charge me nearly 200.00 for that face cream then a few weeks later sent another box.I phoned them several times only to be put on hold for long periods of time. Then I was shocked to see the prices on my credit card.I called my credit card company and they started an investigation. They send me their findings. In a small box they claimed I agreed to this subscription.
While I knew I did not read this tiny print, my credit card company gave me a different phone number to call which worked. However, they won't let me return the 2nd shipment because it was past the 30 days. It is unopened and still in the box. This is such a scam that something needs to be done with these companies.

Desired Outcome

I would like to return the 2nd shipment unopened, unused product for a refund.

The customer, ***, signed up for our free 14 day trial for the Lumabelle Skin Cream and Lumabelle Eye Serum on 10/04/2017 in which she paid $4.99 and $4.95 for shipping and handling to receive the products. In order for the customer to process the order, they have to click a box to agree to the terms and conditions on the website. We only promote trials and there is no mention of any smaller sized bottles or samples. The 14 day free trial expired on 10/18/2017 and as it was agreed upon in the terms and conditions, the customer purchased the trial bottle of the Skin Cream for $89.92 and the Eye Serum for $84.95.
The account remained active on our monthly program so on 11/18/2017 the customer purchased new shipments of the Skin Cream for $94.91 and the Eye Serum for $89.90. We noticed a dispute has been filed with the customer's financial institution as they contacted us in December 2017. Once a dispute is filed, we completely close the account and aren't allowed to make any changes as the financial institution investigates all transactions. On 12/29/2017, the customer called in requesting to return the products. The program and all transactions has been fully explained to the customer. Unfortunately, we weren't able to issue any refunds at that time due to the dispute being filed. The account has been completely cancelled on 12/10/2017, when the financial institution contacted us regarding the dispute, so the customer won't be receiving any future shipments or transactions from our company. We kindly request that the customer call back and speak to one of our customer service representatives for any further concerns and we will be more than happy to assist the customer. Our main toll free number is: 844-608-5127 and our business hours are from 8:30 AM to 7:30 PM EST Monday through Friday and 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Saturday. Thank you for your cooperation.

Is researching this which I should've done in the beginning seen all the complaints on this company .They lead you to believe theater you're trying to Their product. Then you pay a small fee for the product and then They Bill you $89 and $84 for small jar and small tube.Super expensive would never have agreed to pay this if it was shown in a bigger fashion

I now understand that I was at fault for not reading the fine print however if this is a reputable company they would and should have at least refunded me the second shipment since it was on opened still in the box and within 30 days and allow me to return the product.

This company should not "dupe" The public into the exorbitant pricey face products And referring to a smallTerms and conditions so they explained that is written and not allow people to return products.

They got me for close to $400 for two small jars and two small tubes that this product doesn't even do what it supposed to do.Not only it's a rip off but also the customer service lines are always busy you can't get through three times I've tried to call and put on hold to automated system and finally hung up after 35 minutes and 45 minutes

This is a huge learning experience and I hope the public will read and look up companies like I should have
what a disgrace of a company
If this is the only way they can make money it is pretty sad

We sincerely apologize for any inconveniences. Unfortunately, there's not much we can do regarding a refund on the account at this time as the bank has already started the dispute which block any transactions including refunds from the company. Please feel free to call our toll free number for any further concerns and one of our customer service representatives will be more than glad to assist you. Our main toll free number is: 844-608-5127 and our business hours are from 8:30 AM to 7:30 PM EST Monday through Friday and 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Saturday. Thank you for your cooperation.

Product was billed to my account, with no identifying information, following a free trial.
I ordered Luma Bella face cream and eye serum for a free trial. My credit card information was given to cover the cost of shipping. I did not receive a confirmation e-mail or any other correspondence regarding my trial or the fact that my card would be charged $79.99 per month for additional shipments. There was no specific identifying informaiton on my credit card regarding the purchase, just a number, and a debit of $83.79. I received two shipments, neither of which I wanted.

When I was finally able to track the withdrawals, and called LumaBella, I was advised that I was past the 14 day trial period, and the 30 day money back guarantee, even though my last shipment was sent on December 1, 2017, and I had called the company on December 27, 2017.

The service representative, #835 advised me that she would cancel my "subscription", and would not charge me a cancellation fee. I pushed further that I did not want the two shipments I had received and would like a full refund. I was advised that I was past the 30 day refund period, and the best the representative could do for me was to apply her employee discount, and refund me $43.69. I agreed that I would like the refund of $43.69, but that I would ultimately like to return the product and receive a full refund. She told me that was not possible.

Desired Outcome

I would like a full refund for the two shipments I received. I am willing to pay the $4.99 shipping charge for the original trial that I received.

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I did accept the company's 25% refund as it was the only recourse I had available to me. However I feel that their advertising is very desceptive. I did not realize that I was signing up to recieve eye serum and face cream at nearly $100 each on a monthly basis! Even if I used the products religiously, morning and night, I would not be able to use up enough of the product to constitue them sending me new bottles on a monthly basis.

I was under the impression that I was signing up for a trial, and when I searched my email for confirmation so I could cancel it, there was no email. I had to scour through two months of credit card receipts to find the charges, and they were not listed under Luma Bella, only a number.

I feel this practice is deceptive, and left me as a consumer extremely frustrated. The company has in essence stolen nearly $400 from me for a trial lotion and eye serum. When I spoke to the representative, she told me I had thirty days to return my shipment. I had received my December shipment and was attempting to return it in the thirty day window, but for some reason I could not.

I was under the impression that if a consumer is not happy with a product they can return it for a full refund. I am not happy with the product and feel that their advertisment was deceptive. I would like a full refund of my money. I have two unopened packages that I will gladly return. I hope we can come to a compatable understanding.

Thank you for your time and consideration of this matter.

Sincerely

Upon ordering the eye serum and face cream, the ONLY agreement I had was to authorize my card to be used to pay for the $4.95 shipping and handling! The commercial advertised by this company has false advertising say you will ONLY BE CHARGED for shipping & handling.

This company is out to scam innocent people. if you google Luma belle, you will see that hundreds of reviews show the same complaint. Customer agrees to the trial, they make NO mention of the continuous automated billing.

I have contacted the company to cancel my order but yet they continued to tell me I was still being charged with another shipment. I asked for a RETUN address and they said if I sent the product back, it would get re-scanned, and re-shipped to me! Billing me again along with shipping and handling.

I contacted CITI (my credit card comp) and they started the dispute resollution. I requested they call Lumabelle as they said, but CITI said they do not call the company and will handle things visit dispute center??

Lumabelle is a scam!!

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
As I stated on December 21, I only agreed to pay the "shipping & handling" for this trial size product that was to be $4.95. I NEVER authorized the company to sign me up for new product monthly in which I am being billed.
The company states: "We kindly request the customer to call back in with a representative from her financial institution on the line because any disputes filed with the customer's financial institution would block any transactions from our company including refunds"..
My credit card institution (CITI) has been notified of this, but advised me they do not call the company and it will be handled via their dispute center.

I would like the two charges of $89.94 and the new current re-occurring charge of $94.94 (monthly) to be credited to my CITI account.

Misadvertising of free product and collection of monies after alleged end of sample product.
Advertisement of Luma Belle stated free sample of beauty cream, just paying shipping of $4.99. Not once did I hear the advertisement say it was a trial timeframe, neither did the person on the phone when I called to receive my sample. I noticed on December 18th there was a charge of about $89. I called the number affiliated with the charge on December 19th and it was Luma Belle. They were closed at the time I called them. They returned my call later that day. I explained to them that I got charged $89 for the free sample they sent me and they said it was a trial and since December 15th came and went and I didn't submit or returned the item, they charged me for the item. I told them it was never explained to me that it was a trial period and that it was a free sample and I only had to pay for shipping, $4.99. Needless to say, they canceled my subscription and they stated they would not charge me a fee for canceling but would not refund me my money. I offered to send back the sample unused, however, they said they would did not want it back and the charge would stay.

Desired Outcome

I would like a refund of my money and I will return their product to them.

I did click the box to receive the product for $4.99 not knowing it was a 14 day trial. I haven't even tried the cream yet since I've been too busy to get to it. They need to put the 14 day trial and full cost up front in bold letters so customers can see before making purchases.

This is a scam. They get you for a free bottle you only pay shipping for it. I never received anything from this Company. I checked my checking account online and was charged $89.92. I never gave anyone permission to take a penny out of my account. The email they have is invalid. BEWARE

I too, unfortunately ordered the trial size facial and eye cream (14 day trial size), with no indication that I would be billed for 89.90 and 94.91 respectively instead of the shipping and handling fee of 4.95 and 5.95 which is what the ad touted. I certainly never signed up for any subsequent deliveries of any further products. My Visa was billed for the 89.90 and 94.91, which was unauthorized, but unfortunately, I didn't catch it before paying my Visa bill monthly, as I always do. When I realized what had happened, I contacted the company, which is very hard to access, it has 2 different #s, one is 800-648-7053 and the other is 800-410-7053, and finally spoke with a person, about what had happened, and was told he was "sorry" but that I had committed to being billed the 89.90 and 94.91. I told him I never signed up for this, just the trial size product. He told me he was very sorry but he couldn't refund my money as it was outside of the 14 day trial period. He then offered me his "employee discount" which came out to about 46$ for the two products. I again told him it wasn't an option that I wanted the whole amount refunded. He kept apologizing and saying he couldn't do that, so I asked to speak to his manager. He told me that they were "very busy" and couldn't do that. I again reiterated exactly the same thing again, and he continued to repeat his " memorized speech". He kept trying to say "we will refund you 46$, is that okay?" Wanting me to say "yes" which I never once said. After 20 minutes or so of back and forth, I said "I don't have much choice", but never once did I say yes. Today I got my Visa bill, and they have charged my card for another 170$. I called them again (as I did receive the e-mail stating they reimbursed me for $46. I spoke with another rep., who gave me the same spiel again, so I insisted to speak with the manager, which she resisited for the first 15 - 20 minutes of conversation, I kept telling her if she couldn't authorize the whole refund, we had nothing more to speak about. I did finally speak with a "manager" and after I spoke with her an explained everything, and said I wouldn't stop calling till they refunded the whole amount (which she told me I had agreed to, which is completely false), she ended up hanging up on me. Then I read this sight, and called a third toll free number which was listed, and again I was told that they couldn't do that (refund my money) because they had already sent out a second shipment, and billed me for it. She offered to send me more product, to which I responded, "don't EVER, send me anything anymore, and that I better not see anymore charges to my Visa, as I will take this case to my lawyer." I am going to speak with my banking institution, and I will have this company blocked from ever incurring charges ever again, as well as refusing to pay this latest charge made to my credit card. Please learn from my mistake, do not ever buy this product, as you will regret it immensely! I have to leave a star review, but unfortunately, there are no negative stars!

the billing was messed up and I called and talked to a supervisor. He said it was handled but it was not and they billed me and would not refund it.
On October 11, 2017 I ordered online the eye serum and face cream. At that time I accidentally added the Missy Fit Pro to the order. I called them in the morning and they couldn't even find my order and it had not come out of my account. I told them I did not want the missy fit pro, but did want the trial of the creams. It was a 2 wk trial so I needed to call in by the 24th of October to keep at a reduced price or cancel and pay full price. In the mean time I was billed $29.95 for the Missy Fit Pro. I told them I had called already about this when I called on the 24th and that I would like a refund. They said all sales were final and that it was an online program. Of which I never received any info about in order to access anyway. I then spoke with a supervisor and he told me that they would let me keep both the eye serum and face cream for the $29.95 I had already been billed. I then signed up for a monthly purchase of eye serum only for $29.97. This was to happen on the 22nd of each month. On the 22 of November I was billed $42.45 and sent nothing. I waited to see if anything came in the mail but nothing did. I looked back at my notes and contacted them on December 15, 2017. I was told that the $42.45 was for the trial product I had received . I explained that I had already handled that and was expecting eye serum and a invoice of $29.97. I was told that they could not refund the $42.45 becuase it had been passed the 30 day refund period. I told them I called in the 1st two weeks as instructed and worked all this out. I requested to talk to a supervisor who could fix this issue. Finally I cancelled any orders going forward as obviously they are messed up and I wanted nothing to do with them. I finally talked to a supervisor *** and she just kept repeating that they would not/could not do anything for me. I lost my temper and hung up and filed this complaint. All I really want is the 29.95 I paid for the Missy Fit Pro I never received and am willing to forgo the $42.45 they said I would not be billed since I did use the product.

Desired Outcome

Refund for the $42.45 I was billed incorrectly on the 22nd of November. Or refund of the $29,95 for the Missy Fit Pro I never received any info on.

The customer was also supposed to purchase the trial bottle of the Skin Cream for $44.96 but that was not purchased so left a remaining balance for that amount. Signed up for a free 14 day trial and instead received a 30 day supply and was charged for two products instead of one: $84.95 & $89.92.
I saw a free trial advertisement on the internet so signed up for a 14 day trial. It was only for face cream but I received eye serum as well. Nothing I saw said to pay for shipping but I was charged $4.99 and $4.95 on 11/06/17. I called the company when I was also charged $19.93 on 11/08/17 from Diamond Academy (877-3488-8125) for a magazine I never signed up for. I called the company and they reversed the charges. However, when I received a charge on 11/21/17 for $84.95 and $89.92 for two separate products I called the company and was very upset. I assumed they would reverse the charges but no, after talking for 30 minutes or so (844-222-1430)the most they would do is give me a 25% employee courtesy discount so on 11/29/17 they refunded me $21.20 and $22.49. The guy I talked to said they could not accept a return because it wouldn't work in their system and when I asked to speak to a supervisor he said there was no one there to speak to. I was beside myself with frustration. He finally agreed to send me another set of the product. I said fine because that was all they would do. But I didn't want ANY of the product. I just wanted my money refunded! Now I am still out $141.12 and I would never have spent this kind of money on a facial product!! So I have two sets of this product that has never been opened or used.

Desired Outcome

I now have two sets of this cream and eye serum that has never been used. I want to return them and get my refund of $141.

I ordered a sample/trial of Lumabelle cream paying only shipping; I have since been charged without authorization $90/bottle twice.
On Oct. 24 I placed an online order for Lumabelle cream for $0 cost, paying only $4.99 shipping (order #XXXXXXXXXX). During checkout somehow a serum was added, also free but with an additional shipping charge. I don't recall seeing any terms or conditions explaining that I would later have to pay $90 per bottle for each the cream and serum. When I did receive the box, it contained only the cream (and I forgot about the serum). There was not a packing list or any information about the product, company or agreement to future purchases. My email receipt also had absolutely no data or information, not even a company name and was sent from a no-reply email address. I did try the product for about a week and saw no results. Despite not believing I had signed up for anything, I emailed the company (***@***.com) on Nov. 7 confirming that I was not to be charged anything further for any product or service. I did not receive a reply so presumed that there was no continuing obligation.

On my VISA statement, I today discovered that I was charged on Nov. 7 and 8 $89.92 for the cream and $84.95 for the serum I never received. I called VISA, and the rep stayed on the line as we were connected to Lumabelle rep Tayesha (I'm sure VISA recorded this call). She said I had agreed to some (unprovided) terms and conditions at the time of purchase. I emphasized I never saw those, and never received confirmation either via email or in the box. She confirmed having received my cancellation email on Nov. 7 (which was within their 14 day cancellation period), and she says they emailed back (I did not receive) saying cancellations were not allowed in writing and must be done by phone. Having not received that, I had no idea any relationship was continuing.

My VISA rep pointed out that there were two additional charges I have not yet seen on a statement for an additional shipment (not received but Lumabelle rep conveniently said she tracked and was delivered to me today). I demanded a full refund of both unauthorized charges (about $350 in total). She refused stating my 30-day money back guarantee had expired. She initially offered a courtesy 20% discount (ludicrous), then after several back and forths said I could get an 85% credit on the 2nd shipment of the product, but that I'd have to ship at my expense and it would take them 2-3 weeks to determine if the product was in fact unopened. In place of that, she offered $104.94 if "I agreed to settle the account" and said I could keep the second shipment (which I was charged anyway for but had no intention of ordering). Several times I stated I did not agree and that was only the start to getting the full refund. She never had an answer to my never having received the serum either, yet believes the company is still justified to charge for it.

A few other inconsistencies...she stated I could have returned the product to the PO Box printed on the label. In fact, I am now looking at the label and there is no street address, only "Miami, FL 33131". There are three different toll-free #'s: one on the bottle, one for the cream charge, and one for the serum charge (on my statements).

Desired Outcome

Full refund of both product charges. The serum was never received in the first place so there is absolutely no justification for either that shipping charge or the subsequent product charge. And since I had cancelled in writing on Nov. 7 there was absolutely no justification for a second future shipment and charge (for both products). Also, there was no instruction ever received, nor an address provided, to return the product for 30-day guarantee so that charge is also invalid. If in fact the $104.94 refund did go through to my VISA today, I would accept the balance of the difference totaling the amount charged less $4.99 shipping.

Luma Belle Response

The customer, ***, signed up for our free 14 day trial for the Lumabelle Skin Cream and Lumabelle Eye Serum on 10/24/2017 in which she paid $4.99 and $4.95 for shipping and handling to receive the products. In order for the customer to process the order, they have to click a box to agree to the terms and conditions on the website. We only promote trials and there is no mention of any smaller sized bottles or samples. The 14 day free trial then expired on 11/07/2017 and as it was agreed upon in the terms and conditions, the customer purchased the trial bottle of the Skin Cream for $89.92 and the Eye Serum for $84.95. The account remained active on our monthly program so on 12/07/2017, a new shipment of the Skin Cream was sent out for $94.91 and the Eye Serum for $89.90. On 12/13/2017, the customer called in requesting to cancel the account. The program and all transactions has been fully explained to the customer. However, we understand that on rare occasions customers can miss this information or misunderstand how the program works. We do have a 30 day money back guarantee so the customer was eligible to return the most recent shipments. The customer agreed to a 60% refund for the new shipments and was able to keep the products instead of returning it. The account has been completely cancelled on 12/13/2017 so the customer won't be receiving any future shipments or transactions from our company. We kindly request that the customer call back and speak to one of our customer service representatives and we will be more than happy to resolve this issue. Our main toll free number is: 844-608-5127 and our business hours are from 8:30 AM to 7:30 PM EST Monday through Friday and 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Saturday. Thank you for your cooperation.

I thought I was purchasing a trial sample, just paying s&h. I didn't see anything about a subscription. A month later I received an automatic shipment
Received shipment on 12/08/17. Called to learn I have been charged $184.81 to credit card. Will not allow me to return. Original charge was $4.96 on 10/20/27. I never noticed anything in the ad about autoshipments. No paperwork in package with an order number, account number, etc. They said they cancelled subscription, but will not allow me to return.

Desired Outcome

$184.81 refund to credit card

They advertised a offer to purchase a sample of their cream for $4.99 shipping and handling only. Now they want to charge me $89.92.
On 10/23/17 I saw an add for Luma Belle Cream for a trial offer of $4.99 for shipping and handling only. I put in my credit card and when it came to almost the end of the transaction they started trying to sell me several other products, nothing about creams or makeup. I felt uncomfortable and cancelled out. They already had my credit card information and sent me the cream and billed me for the $4.99. I accepted the cream and paid the bill. Today, 11/29/17 I received my credit card bill and noticed a charge on 11/5/17 for $89.92. I immediately called the company at *** on 11/29/17 (the day I received my bill) and talked with "Agent ***". I explained that I never signed up for any additional cream, and only received the one sample which I paid $4.99 for and I wanted the charge of $89.92 removed from my credit card. She said they could not because I had agreed if I kept the product to pay the $89.92 and signed up to receive ongoing products and charges. I explained that I never saw any information indicating any of that and I wanted the bill removed. I had never used the product and would be happy to return it. She said she could not do either, however, when I asked to speak to her manager she said she would give me her own personal discount of 30 or 40% off (I do not remember which). I told her I was not interested in a discount and wanted the full amount off my bill and asked again to speak to a manager. She said there was no manager available and the phone was disconnected. I called back and talked with her again with still the same outcome. Then a Carmen #*** called me back repeated what agent *** said, however, when I continued to say "no, I want the full amount removed from my card then she said she would also give me her discount which was more than the first girl. I did not accept and hung up letting them know I was going to call the Revdex.com and my credit card company and that I thought they were a fraudulent company. I did call Citi and told them the story and I wanted to dispute the charge and now I am emailing you.

Desired Outcome

The charge of $89.92 removed from my bill and no further contact with this company.

Customer Response

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I did call Lumabelle back and they said they would erase all charges if I would call my credit card company and get all three of us on the line at the same time. I called my credit card company, Citi Bank, and told them what Lumabelle wanted and they said I should just ignore the request because they investigated the company and took the charge off my credit card and they are not interested in doing as Lumabelle asked. I called Lumabelle to let them know I had tried to get the bank to do as they asked, however, the bank would not. Lumabelle said there was nothing they could do to finalize this issue because the bank would not get on the line. This leaves me not know what Lumabelle is planning on doing with that charge, however, as I have said before I believe this company has not represented themselves in an honorable way and do not feel I should have to pay the $89.92 for the cream. I paid the $4.99, which is what I thought the total charge was. I have offered to return the cream as I have not used it but they do not want me to do so.

Luma Belle Response

We sincerely apologize for any inconveniences. We weren't able to process any refunds at this time because if a dispute is filed with the financial institution, as they investigate the program and transactions, they block any transactions including refunds. I ordered the "free trial" of their wrinkle cream and ended up being billed almost $200.
I ordered the "free trial" of their wrinkle cream which supposedly came with a free sample of their eye serum. These two items were purportedly free with the customer only paying shipping costs. I paid the shipping charge right away. I opened my credit card bill just now to find a charge of $89.92 for the skin cream and another charge of $84.95 for the eye serum. I called the company to dispute the charges and without ever getting a person on the phone, I was left on hold for about 10 minutes after which the phone disconnected. I want a full refund since I cannot even speak with a representative to dispute my charges.

Desired Outcome

I am seeking a full refund for both charges.

Through an internet ad, LumaBelle offered free samples of skin product, just a $4.95 mailing fee.
I was charged almost $180.00 on my credit card.
First, I signed up for one product sample, the Moisturizer and once giving them my credit card #, saw that I was receiving the eye serum. I paid a $4.95 (2x) handling fee for both. The internet ad said it was a sample. I receive my credit card invoice with the $180 charge and called the company. They said that after the 14 trial period was over I was charged the full price of the products. No where did the ad say that was going to happen.

Desired Outcome

Through my TJX credit card, I filed a dispute for the charges. I'm returning the products to the Florida P.O. Box # today. I want the charges taken off my credit card. The reference numbers are *** and ***.

Bottom Line: THIS IS A TOTAL SCAM! You don't see the "fine print" until after you pay. When you call to get the $90 refunded they really try to scare you by saying they have the documents to prove you agreed to the terms. I told them I'd call my credit card company and they dug deep to offer me $22 dollars back. When I explained that I still think that was not enough for a product that did nothing and that Nordstroms or any other reputable company would refund it, AND that I think my credit card would still side with me on a product that did not do what I was told it would do, they offered me 50% back. I took it. Perhaps I should have called my credit card first to see what they suggested. Hopefully I'm done with this terrible company now.

This company is falsely charging my account and sending unwanted product. No invoice or packing slip so no way to track a phone number or transaction number. DO NOT ORDER their "Trial size." Do what you can to get your money back by disputing the charges.

This company is falsely advertising a "free trial" of their products for only $4.95 shipping cost for the face cream and $4.99 for eye serum.
This company is advertising that they will send you a "free trial" of their cosmetic products for only the shipping fee $4.95 for "Luma Belle Ageless Eye Revitalizer 0.5oz" and only a shipping fee of $4.99 for "Luma Belle Revitalizing Moisturizer 1 oz". What they fail to clarify is that you are unwittingly signed up for an automatic monthly charge and shipment of the products if you fail to cancel within 14 days. There was no where on the ad (which appeared on an news article that I was reading on the internet)that eluded to this "automatic charge for a monthly shipment" if you failed to cancel the subscription. I never read the word subscription while ordering the product. I contacted the Luma Belle company and explained how I did not agree to subscribe to any programs where additional charges to my credit card were authorized. The individual read from a script and continued to tell me that I would not be refunded any money. I told him that I did not authorize the charges and had not received the products that were being charged to my card. I called the company on 11/21/2017. The additional unauthorized charges were made on 11/19/2017 in the amount of $89.92 for "Rejuvapinkskincream" and a second charge which was still "pending" on 11/20/2017 for the amount of $84.95 for "AQS*Aquaserum NC". Once I made it very clear that I would refuse the packages that they claimed were already being processed, they began their attempts at offering to refund me 20% off of the cost of the products, stating he was giving me his employee discount for my trouble. I unequivocally refused his offer and he put me on hold and then offered to refund 40% of the total cost, stating that the company did not "normally offer such a large discount" but that he had received permission from his supervisor. I continued to refuse his attempts to get me agree to pay for a product that I did not order or authorize payment for. I have never had an experience like this in all of my 50 years.

Desired Outcome

I am seeking a refund in the total amount of $89.92 for "Rejuvapinkskinserum" which appears to be different than the original "free trial sample of Luma Belle Ageless Eye Revitalizer" that I originally ordered on November 5, 2017 for "only the cost of shipping for $4.95" and $84.95 for "AQS*Aquaserum NC" which appears as a diffrent name on my statement than the "free trial sample of Luma Belle Revitalizing Moisturizer" that I ordered originally for "only the shipping cost of $4.99" on November 5, 2017.

Customer Response

My complaint has been resolved by the company crediting my account. Thank you very much for your assistance.

Luma Belle cosmetics or Silver Star Lit Face Cream Company offers a free trial of face cream for postage of $4.99. Then they subscribe you into a monthly program automatically charging your credit card which you used for postage on their "free product". When you call to get the charge taken off, they say the $89.92 is to pay for the "free trial" which you already received. If you didn't want to be charged, you had to return the product within 14 days.

This is totally fraudulent. The more I threatened to turn it over to my credit card fraud department, the more discount they offered me for the "free trial. They insisted that it would take months to get the fraud department to finalize my report or months if I sent the product back. Also, the product had to be unused and a restocking fee would be charged. They finally accepted $13.50 payment for the "free trial" and they would cancel my account of automatically charging my credit card again.

I repeat: This is totally fraudulent.

Desired Outcome

No settlement requested - for I agreed to pay the $13.50 if they would not charge me EVER again. Please post this where other customers will be aware!

Customer Response

(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
I think it is still devious to offer a "free trial" then after 14 days charge $89.82 for the "free" product. I believe that future customers should be warned. I agreed to their terms only because I want no more contact with this company EVER.

Charged for products that I did not sign up for
I signed up for a "sample" of this product thru a Pinterest display. I looked over the description and did not find anything verbage that indicated I was signing up to receive this product on a continual basis.

Desired Outcome

I just want to let others know how deceptive this company is in its practice of signing people up to receive this product as a sample, then using that information to sign people up to receive this product on a continual basis and charging the person's credit card

Customer Response

(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
I did check the box indicating I agreed to the terms and conditions. I did not read all of the terms and conditions, as I should have. It was not clear that I was agreeing to purchase anything further than the sample bottle of the lotion. It was not expressly detailed that I would be signing up for a monthly program.
I appreciate and accept the 50% refund and I understand that my account has been cancelled.
I will, in the future, read all of the terms and conditions when signing up for any "trial" of a product.
The sales representative that I spoke with said that I would be receiving an email from the company detailing the 50% refund and the cancelling of my account. I have not, at this date, received such email. I will consider this response as verification of the terms.

Total scam. I ordered a trial for under $10 but then got charged $170. Will not refund the money. Product does not work anyway. Do not buy!!!

I never recieved this so called trial but I sure did get billed for it! Called the company and they refused to refund any money taken out.
2 charges the first was for $89.92 and the other was for $84.95

Desired Outcome

I would like a full refund as I never recieved products or any correspondence from this company. I did not have any confirmation that there was even an order made.
