I am rejecting this response because:I will file a claim for overages and inconvenience as indicated. However, at no point in addressing any and all issues pertaining to my complaint via the Revdex.com has Majestic Movers, Inc., acknowledged being at fault in any way.I have clearly described all issues and negligence.Additionally, I called and emailed Majestic movers, Inc., Customer Service on a daily basis once days had passed from the pick up in Chicago, IL - July 14, 2017.On a daily basis I requested updates from customer service on a delivery date or time frame at a minimum Customer service stated they would attain a deilvery date daily from the dispatch department and provide me an update (call me back). These updates were never provided as promised (on a recorded line as indicated by Majestic Movers, Inc.), and I continued my daily calls. This is negligence and led to my complaint with the Revdex.com.Majestic Movers, Inc., has also stated that they have provided directions to file a claim. They haven't provided me the proper channels and instructions including a contact person. In the contract paperwork - documentation the only instructions to file a claim pertain to loss or damage to goods / possessions in the delivery.
Sincerely,

Dear Consumer, Majestic Movers apologizes for the inconvenience during your moveThe estimate given over the phone is binding and guaranteed based on the cubic feet provided by the inventoryFrom overlooking your paper work, I do see that there was an overload of cubic feet at the time of
your pick upYour estimate was taken over the phone which is based on a certain cubic foot for each itemFrom my understanding there were additional items added on as well as some of the items exceeding the cubic foot that it was accounted for on your estimateMajestic Movers will look over your signed contract at the time of pick up as well as the phone estimate and will come to a decision for the cost of your settlement to help you file a claim to be reimbursed for any inconvenience

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me However, the consistent lack of communication and accurate information during the move (just completed yesterday, by the way, making it business days & calendar days since delivery was requested) made this a very unpleasant experience While we accept the financial resolution, we very much do not accept the way Majestic does its business and will not be using or recommending them again.Majestic Mover's business practices are very carefully & intentionally crafted to be just barely legal This may work for them in court, but in real life there are laws you can't get around, the Law of Karma for one, and these laws will eventually resolve this issue in a way they may not like...but which will be truly just

I am rejecting this response because:My cell phone number is listed as the main contact number on the contractThat is the only number that calls were received from the company prior to them picking up my possessionsIf you have tried to deliver my furniture, why haven't I received a call on my cell phone to arrange a delivery dateThis is not the way customers are supposed to be treated, and this is an unacceptable business transaction from a supposedly legitimate companyImagine someone picking up your personal possessions after paying 75% of the total, and still not having them delivered in almost months! How about you guys call me on the correct phone number listed on the contract to discuss a delivery date and final payment

Dear consumer, The estimate is binding and guaranteed based off of the cubic foot that's provided while conducting the estimateFrom looking over your paperwork you exceeded the cubic feet by This increased your pricePer the contract we have up to business days to deliver your
goodsMajestic is still within the contract to deliver your items

So not only did my bill change a lot in price it changed again right before y stuff was deliveredThey charged me and additional On top of the I owed on deliveryThey said it was for storageWhen I called in all week to ask why I was hung up on put on hold they finally after days of hunting down someone to talk to me they told me it was storageBut then the girl *** that does their billing gave me a credit and told me that I then only owed Why? Because I was given the bill the four days before they delivered my stuff whichY the way is percent damagedI have filed a claim for that as wellI don't mind paying what I owe but when I am asking the company and calling for 3months straight and they say yes u only owe then it changes last minute mAlso *** told me someone was doing billing incorrectly and I should have been told about the extra charges for storageAlso when I called to tell them my stuff had been promised to be delivered the last almost weeks no one could tell me a date so and when they did give me one me and my fiancé who is military stayed home from work every time and it cost us a lot of moneyThen having to pay the extra on top when I should have been told before hand so I could have tried to fix it and pay it while it was in storageInstead I was told pay this money now or u don't get ur stuffMy daughters stuff her stuff for school that is now weeks late and it's her senior yearI got my stuff this past Saturday damagedHer bedroom set looks like someone has rolled it down a hill.I now have no money for rent because I paid all that money to get damaged stuff and it's a shameI pay my bills I pay what I owedWe are military and we have moved many times but I have never ever had a company be so rude, not call people backLeav u on hold for a hr at a timeTalk to u like ur a dog and just change prices on u and tell u that u can't have ur stuff till u pay when u have went above and beyond to make sure u paid them so u have no troubles the day ur stuff gets thereAfter they have already cashed your check the day later when u asked them to please hold it when the money changed the day they picked my stuff up as well.yeah thy did that bounced my Accra and I every have the place where they said they would hold it and they recorded the convo of them saying they would hold itSo yeah I don't accept their answe cause they lie and cheat people and they don't care about peoples stuffBut most of all customer service sucksSo I'm curious to hear them lie their way out of this

Dear Consumer, Majestic Movers apologizes for the inconvenience during your moveThe estimate given over the phone is binding and guaranteed based on the cubic feet provided by the inventoryFrom overlooking your paper work, I do see that there was an overload of cubic feet at the time of
your pick upYour estimate was taken over the phone which is based on a certain cubic foot for each itemFrom my understanding there were additional items added on as well as some of the items exceeding the cubic foot that it was accounted for on your estimate. Your items are in our storage facility in New Jersey until we receive a payment of $2,per the signed contract we have the right to collect up to 100% of the balance before your delivery however, that is not what is being askedYou can do a wire transfer from your *** account so that you do not need to drive two hours away

Dear Revdex.com ,   The consumer wanted his items in storage for a few months. His long distance form stated that from his first available delivery date which was 10/01 we had up to 21 business day per the first available delivery date to deliver his items. We have successfully delivered his...

items within the time frame window.

I am responding to this response because: I understand that quotes over the phone are necessarily limited and are subject to change. It's the job of the sales staff to explain all of this well before any decisions are...

made, not the poor movers who show up late on the scheduled date of the move. It's kind of a dick move to expect us to shuffle our whole cross-country relocation around on a Saturday when our landlord expects us to move out on that Monday. We were never explained the whole cubit foot issue. Again, totally quotes being subject to change is understandable, but this variance definitely caught us blindsided. We would not have gone with your company if we had known that the variance would be so great. We signed the contract because the movers were there and we were being essentially evicted in 2 days, as the landlord found a new tenant. At this point, you have our stuff. We are basically at your mercy. Throwing the contract in our face is pretty insensitive, given the circumstances. Your response also does nothing to address the fact that Max [redacted] specifically promised my wife that we would be having our stuff stored in California, not on the East Coast. This was a specific request. When told that they were going to store our stuff on the East Coast, we initially passed. We only went with Majestic Movers It also does not address the fact that the delivery guys came 2 hours late and imperiled our security deposit with regards to using our moving elevator. It doesn't address the fact that the movers were given the wrong address and that the contract misspells my wife's name even though she corrected them (just as evidence of carelessness). It doesn't address the fact that we called three days in a row to help avoid this mess and nobody cared. It doesn't address the fact that the customer service lady refused to talk to my wife when we tried to explain the situation. Also, we gave the movers the checks already, the amount that they asked for. I'm not sure what Majestic Movers wants from us in order to move our stuff. I'm sorry if I come across as frustrated. The both of us called multiple times on multiple days trying to make this move as smooth as possible and we were brushed aside. On the day of the move, the customer service department was so dismissive! None of the problems were unavoidable. They all could have been avoided with better communication and more responsiveness from Majestic Movers.
Sincerely,
Mohammad [redacted]
