On September 29, 2015, Mr is="qowt-word-run" qowt-eid="E70" id="E70"> [redacted] contracted with Corky’s Pest Control, to provide a solution to the Swallow nesting problem on his propertyAt the time of the 1st inspection by our representative, [redacted] ***, there were approximately Swallow’s nests affixed to the underside of the eaves of his home and more were flying around the neighborhood, in significant numbers looking for nesting areas It was apparent, after speaking with him, that Mr [redacted] was unaware of the annual migratory habits of these birds and was unaware, when he purchased his home that this situation existed on his property and that of his neighborsSwallows will return annually to the same nesting sites every yearThey are also a protected species and their nests can only be removed before egg laying and after hatching occurs when the nests are emptyThis being the case, we were to remove the old nests and install a netting material, to discourage nest building, under the eavesWe recommended, that the netting material be extended below the eaves where it was possible for nests to be built, but Mr [redacted] declined this suggestion and only wanted to protect directly under the eaves(We charged only for the work we performed.) Consequently, this decision affected the service outcome and his expectations for this service were less than he expectedThe birds continually tried to nest below the netting, but where the netting was in place, the eaves saw no activity, it did its’ jobIn an attempt to meet Mr [redacted] ’s expectations, it was then decided that a sticky, repellant product (not a poison) would be applied to wall areas where birds might attempt to build nestsAfter mixing the product, and testing it on a stucco wall, it was determined that staining might occurMr [redacted] , declined this solution alsoAt this point the technicians (after diluting the test product for disposal) buried the remaining product (per label instructions) in an existing hole in the un-landscaped, backyard Mr [redacted] again contacted our office and spoke with ***, and informed us of his dogs passing and the fact that the Swallow situation was unacceptableHis main focus was on what we were going to do about the birdsOur representative, [redacted] ***, in an attempt to help overcome the consequences of Mr [redacted] ’s initial decision, offered, at no charge to him, to send our technicians out weekly to remove any nests starting in unprotected areas to deter the birds until the birds moved elsewhere and we would also show him how to use his hose and a stream of water to loosen and remove the nestsHe also offered to have a memorial leaf purchased in ***’s name from the H [redacted] FoundationMr [redacted] declined both offers and requested that he not be contacted againHence, we have had no further contact until the Revdex.com made us aware of this complaintMr [redacted] ’s dog ***, was his constant companion (leashed) when we were on site [redacted] was also equipped with a protective cone around his neck, the kind veterinarians use when there is a medical necessityCare for his health and importance to his family was obvious It is our belief that the service that Mr [redacted] , contracted us to do, was done professionally and where it was allowed to be enacted, was absolutely effectiveTherefore, we are declining to return the cost of the serviceWe absolutely regret ***’s loss, and realize it’s a very emotional occasion when beloved companions are taken from usWe are not without compassion for the familyIt is our professional belief that what was used on the property had not the ability to cause the dog mortal harmWe would like to again, extend our offer to memorialize ***’s life with a Leaf from the [redacted] FoundationWe would be glad to consider other means of compensation, if a diagnosis is provided by a licensed veterinarian stating ***’s cause of death and its’ relationship to the product used on the property

We have used Corky's for over years! We are very pleased with the service our tech [redacted] (CP19) has providedHe is very friendly and knowledgeableHe knows our property and always takes time to meet any specific needs or issues we might haveGreat company and great people!

I had [redacted] from Corky's Pest Control perform a treatment for subterranean termites and he did a great jobHe was very nice, courteous, thorough and knowledgeable with every aspect of the jobI would definitely recommend his servicesI also love the fact that Corky's provides a 4-year warranty on the service

[redacted] did a great job servising our home last week He was very friendly and professional Seemed to spend a good amount of time making sure that everything was sprayed to avoid the upcoming summer pests

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear belowActually my husband ( [redacted] ) signed the document of the contract of agreement on 09/21/15, the contract is very clear based on the expectations from my husband an meAt this point Corkys' didn't meet those expectations, plus not showing any concern or care for my family, my dog and my houseI am asking for a reimbursements of the full price amount that was paid for the service that Corky's didn't perform And about the netting material to be extended below the eaves where it was possible for nests to be built never was discussed in detailMy husband ( [redacted] ) gave the only one direction to not make any holes in the wallOn Thursday March 31st, my husband received a call from [redacted] Lougn the representative from Corky's to ask for my husband approval to use this chemical that the Corky's technicians were planning to put on the walls around my houseWhen my husband arrived to our house he saw this big mark staining on the stucco wall that was caused from the chemical that the technicians put in there and until now remains the same (please picture attached) My husband ( [redacted] ) asked [redacted] the technician for more information on this chemical and ***'s response was that Corky's never used this chemical before and it was not a warranty that the stain will go away from the walls, that's why my husband decided to do not use this chemical at all Per the instructions on the chemical container are to "DO NOT CONTAMINATE WATER FOOD, OR FEED BY STORAGE OR DISPOSAL" Corky's technicians decided to use the first option recommended from the label and the most dangers one for my family and my dog by throwing away the chemicals directly on the holes where my dog used to hide her bones and eat from the chemical that may causing her to apss away by poisonWhy [redacted] and [redacted] didn't consider the second option from the manufacture on the label container to "DISPOSED OF AT AN APPROVED DISPOSAL FACILITY" My dog was wearing the protective cone around the neck because she was spayed on March 22nd, So her health was perfect per the veterinarian who attend my dog, until she ate that chemical I do not believe that the service provided from Corky's was done profesinally, and Corky's didn't performed based on the expectations from the contract of agreement and on top of that for the negligence from [redacted] and [redacted] (the technicians), for those reasons I demand Corky's for a return of the full price amount that I paid on The contract agreement has years of warranty that covers labor and partsDue to the negligence from [redacted] and [redacted] (the technicians) I do not want Corky's technicians to come back to may house anymore Regards, [redacted]

I have had Corky's regular service for years Would not go without it When people tell me they are having ant or spider problems I am comforted to know that I do not because of Corky's Pest Control service I love my service rep, [redacted] *** He is so sweet and very attentive to any pest control issues He is a real asset to the company

I've been with Corky's for many years and they are the only service I wantThey never fail to exceed all my expectations for professionalism, commitment, quality and resultsThe staff are all greatI want to specifically mention [redacted] ***, my current service specialistHe carries on the great Corky's tradition I have come to expect

My Corky's 'Service Technician' Mr [redacted] ; is and has always been extremely patient, very polite, willing to go above and beyond to make sure that his clients are completely happyHe is will ask you 'if you want a particular service that wasn't scheduled that day, but to make you feel at ease, he offers it and seems to have no problem with doing soHe's extremely informativeHe will try & generally answers any question and/or concern that I may haveHe tells me about the insect that I ask him about 'completely' or that I have one that I had found (spider) withinHe's friendly, welcoming and will never rush you, and being disabled and older 'it's extremely appreciated,' I truly appreciate him as a person and appreciate Corky's for having him on as a member of their teamAlso, Corky's service plan wasn't over priced at all, especially for all that i'm getting in return; MY PEACE OF MINDThank you so much, especially to [redacted] (for being so consistent always with your work and personality)

We used to have an ant infestation that worsened in the Fall, and ant traps and gel did not work, given the magnitude of the infestation. Since we started using Corky's approximately 3 or 4 years ago, we no longer have this problem.We don't like to use chemicals, but the infestation became intolerable. Our courteous technician, [redacted] has explained the spraying. He is very conscientious about where he sprays, avoiding the bird bath and items that we may have outside, like clothes and towels. And the birds and lizards are thriving!

*** *** was our technician and he was excellent He arrived on time and kept us informed of his progress through out the termite extermination process
*** did a wonderful job and I would highly recommend him

I was concerned with the findings of black widows in my back yard and my children playing near these areasMy tech focused on those areas; went above and beyond to secure my play area

*** *** is reliable, helpful, hard working, & honestI will recommend Corky's & *** *** to family and friends

I've used Corky's Pest for over years now and they have always provided good service but today they went above and beyond I asked if they could come out early am due to prior commitments and they showed up at 7:30a as I requested I had a problem with rats and the tech (*** ***) crawled around the whole house to find the small hole that rats were coming in He placed a few traps for me and did not charge me any extra $ for whole service

I like Corky's, but the very best thing about Corky's is *** ***, CP# I have known him for several years now, and he is so kind and considerate, and he does a great job! He is also my elderly Mother's Corky's man, and she feels the very same way about him He is always positive and professional!

We have used Corky's pest control service for over years We started with them because we had a problem with ants After their first visit, the ants were gone and did not return Our service technician, *** ***, is great He is very professional and friendly During his last service, he gave us useful suggestions regarding our landscaping to prevent rodent infestation in our house Thanks *** and Corky's!
