Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: The response simply restates Megabus's policy that passengers must be at the specified place of departure minutes prior to the departure time Apparently, you have not read my complaint clearly, because my complaint is not regarding this policyMy complaint is that I missed the 7:p.mbus and was charged for another ticket on a subsequent bus EVEN THOUGH I WAS WAITING AT THE SPECIFIED BUS STOP MINUTE PRIOR TO DEPARTURE TIME AS ACCORDING TO THE TERMS OF THE POLICYTo be precise, I was waiting at the specified stop from 7:15-7:p.m., at which time I was informed by an arriving bus driver that my bus departed from a stop different than the one described on the ticket, and that I had missed the busWhen I called Megabus to have the situation addressed, I was forced to buy another ticket and my request to speak with supervisor was denied and the "customer service" agent (I use quotes here because I received nothing resembling "service" during this ordeal) hung up the phoneAccordingly, I demand a refund for that ticket, and an apology for pushing my eventual arrival time at my destination until midnight [redacted]

So 9/12/my friend and her kids needed to catch a bus to DetroitDeparture time was 1300/1:pmWe were on our way I received a email mind before we arrived that a windstar bus lines will take over instead of megabus.Well this is Chicago and to 3pm traffic is crazy.We made it there by 1.We saw a megabus but it was to Cleveland.Megabus was called we were told the bus was running behind because of the switchSo we waited and waitedStill no business tor Detroit until one of the other drivers notified us that he saw the bus on the way to Chicago and that the bus left alreadyWe called to see if we can reschedule my friend and her kids we were told no and we will have to pay an additional $in order to get them on the next bus at 7amWhat I don't understand is why can't she switch her unused ticket for the next dayMegabus should communicate more better than what they did

Story Time: So against my better judgement I decided to take a Megabus from Atlanta to MemphisThe ticket was dirt cheap and I could just sleep on the tripThe first bus going to Memphis was minutes lateThe driver was a bit disorganized being that he accidentally locked himself out of the bus and one of the passengers had to figure out how to open the doors for himHe didn't know where the destination points were and just seemed confused all togetherAgain, I said hey, it's a cheap ticket no big dealToday I was supposed to return to Atlanta and I arrived on time to the location (pulling up directly behind the bus) in which everyone was already on the bus, so I quickly got out and kissed my family goodbyeThe driver sees usThe luggage handlers tell me to hurry because, "She's (the bus driver) petty." As soon as they tell us this, the bus pulls off?? My mother is physically chasing the bus and knocks on the window desperately trying to get the driver to stopShe doesn'tInstead she looks my mother in the eyes and shakes her finger at her like a petulant child It's not that I cannot change my ticket to another time or even that I missed the bus, it was the evil manner in which this specific bus driver treated usThe luggage handler told us that this specific driver named Latonya did this all of the time to people and that even if we went to the rest stop in Tupelo half an hour away to meet the bus, she would still probably not let us onShe's had multiple complaints, yet she's still workingI tried calling to make a complaint but the company is overseas and gave me the, "send us an email and we will investigate the situation" speech I can appreciate that there is a schedule to keep and that she technically left on time, HOWEVER, we were on time and she saw usIt would have take all of seconds for me to get onI imagine there is a reason that all of this happened: Lesson On time means minutes early Lesson Some people are as compassionate as spoon Lesson Never take the Megabus again And I'm so sorry to my mother that this woman was so blatantly rude to youAtleast I get to spend more time you before I have to return to AtlantaAs for the bus driver, God Bless you anyways
