Sorry to hear that there has been some trouble with your account. After doing a review, it seems the charge was for early termination fee and not for equipment.  Though it looks like you still have equipment in your possession that has not been returned yet.  Specifically, two [redacted] terminals and one pinpad.  I spoke to [redacted], who says she has spoken to you several times about this.  Let me know if I could be of further assistance.

The Attachments above will not let me submit all the information to support the claim (limits to four attachments).  I also have collection letter from Transworld Systems, bank records, etc. that I cannot attach.  Going through the paperwork I also discovered that MSW shows -$174.79 outstanding  on the March 2015 statement, however this amount was debited from my bank on 4/*.  I also discovered that the April 2015 statement shows -$54.80 due; however that amount also cleared my bank on 5/**  I will faxing additional paperwork since I'm unable to submit with this response.  I'm disputing monthly billings in the amount of $79.80 beginning with the June 2015 statement to current.  I owe no further money to MWS.  Actually, MSW owes me money for assessing fees and charges that I was promised would not be assessed and weren't in the contract.

GLASS SUPPLY HOUSE, INC [redacted] Merchant called back on October and complained about her rates. Customer Services Representative informed merchant that a request would be submitted for a rate review. Merchant’s rates were lowered. Merchant emailed a proposal from another...

provider and we responded to merchant letting her know that we will match the same rates and emailed the merchant the proper documentation to sign for us to proceed with the new rates and match the proposal she received from another provider. Merchant called and requested account to be closed stating that equipment was on its way.As result, and as   per merchant application account was close and an early termination fee of $495.00 was applied.

Yes but that is not what is on the contract that you agreed to and signed.  We must go by your contract.  Your agreement shows that there is a cancellation fee if you terminate early.

When you didn't tell the truth about the rate I believe that I had every rightto NILL and VOID the contract...Your rate were lies and your promises made by your sales rep. were also untrue. I don't believe the contract should be withheldwhen it wasn't upheld by your company.    I will not be paying the $495 .00 said to be due. And I was also reading in the contract were the fee is $395.00. So as you can see you are WRONG all theway around...Look into that!!!

This merchant sent in a cancellation letter after he stopped processing and changed to another company.  Retention made a call upon receipt of the letter and advised merchant of the ETF as well as the closeness of the end of his contractual obligation, merchant denied...

having an etf and said he was not going to process with us anymore. When he was charged, he called in to customer support and became aggressive on the phone to two of the staff, then he asked the manager to intervene.  Though the manager was unable to speak because the merchant refused to hear anything but what he believed to be true.  After almost 20 minutes of trying to reason with this merchant, the manager told him he would no longer be able to argue and to have a nice day but the etf was justified and was clearly stated in the ETF paragraph of the agreement, RIGHT ABOVE ONE OF HIS 5 SIGNATURES on the agreement pagesIn summary, every attempt was made to retain the merchant, as well as offering him to remain a customer until end of the agreement which was approximately 2 more months.  He refused and incurred the early termination fee as a result, which was calculated as per the details in the ETF paragraph in the agreement.After reviewing his pricing, I have concluded that there were no pricing increases, but rather there were some fees that were decreased.  Unfortunately no refund can be issued to this merchant.

Our account was closed 12/**/2014.  Under our agreement with Merchant Industries we were not to be assessed any fees.  Notwithstanding, our account was closed in 2014....this new fee was for 2015 and therfore we should not be billed for fees in advance for services we did not use on an account that was cancelled.  This is not a satisfactory resolution.

Review: We sent back and cancelled the credit card machine with this company a few months ago, which they are saying they received. They just today charged us $495.00 which they never notified us of for a credit card machine that was returned in November of 2013. We showed them proof at that time that it was returned through the [redacted] with a receipt that it was dropped at their door, and we were told that was OK. Now with no notification they charged us $495.00 (taken directly from our account) for this machine they say was never received and we never showed them proof. We dealt with a guy named [redacted] at that time and was told it was all taken care of in November 2013. We want our money back and we want it NOW.Desired Settlement: We want all of our money back into our account ASAP. They had no right to take it in the first place.

Review: I was a merchant processing with Merchant Industry after many problems I stopped doing business with merchant ind. Ihad to purchase equipment from them at the end of the ordeal with the help of Revdex.com they finally sent me new equipment. I HAVE TRIED TO USE THE EQUIPMENT BUT IT IS LOCKED , this can be unlocked by doing a download over the phone but they wont help me .Ipaid 800.00 for the equip.and have not been able to use it. I am processing with another company now and we have tried to get them to unlock the machine but they wont do this. [redacted] from [redacted]. and Ihave called but we cannot get them to do anything .Can the Revdex.com help me?Desired Settlement: unlock my machine so Ican use it

Review: Salesman [redacted] told me they would provide free credit card processing equiptment.So I signed up and they never sent me anything.Not one transaction was ever processed. I told them to cancel but they continue to charge me monthly minimums. This guy bugged me for a year to switch and when I did they never sent me the equiptment. I even opened up a new bank account.All my transactions are keyed in manually, not by computer or smartphone.[redacted] won't answer my calls.They placed their bill with a collection agency.Desired Settlement: send me the equiptment or cancel the contract and the collection agency

According to our records, you were sent a phone swiper and one of the technical support representatives tried to help you to use it. We then sent you a terminal. Soon after your bank account was closed/blocked and we start getting notifications of charges not going through your account. In this case we are unable to refund you the $395 due to the fact that an account was set up for you as per contract and cancellation was imminent because your bank account was not accepting the charges.

Review: Faxed notification of cancellation to Merchant Services Worldwide on May **, 2015 due to discrepancies and inconsistencies in processing fees and markups compared to email communication with agent and contract signed in December of 2013. In March of 2014 they added a PCI Compliance fee of $119.99, in September 2014 a terminal maintenance fee of $6.95, in October 2014 added $129.99 annual fee and other charges. The contract and email communication I had with my agent stated that my rates would never increase and I asked for full disclosure of charges. I contacted my agent and he agreed to waive added fees not in contract the first time it occurred. In January 2015, I decided to go with another credit card company and waited a few months to see how things worked out. March 2015 an inactivity fee of $29.99 (increased from $25 in contract) and annual PCI compliance fee (increased from $79 to $119 from contract) was accessed. The notice on their statement said the PCI compliance fee would be assessed May 2015. It wasn't - it was assessed in March 2015, the month I received notice. I contact my agent the first time they accessed the annual fee and others charges and he agreed, this second time I was done with wasting so much time having the monitor for additional or increased fees. Due to the constant fee changes and assessments I decided to cancel service. I also question the .00115 dues and assessment by Mastercard rate instead of 0..11%,. I also wasn't aware that I was being placed on a non-qualified rate of 3.19%. Also the Interchange Rate and cost per transaction do not always subtotal correctly on their statements. Beginning in May of 2015, they began billing me $54.80 for miscellaneous fees and card fees. I cancelled service effective May. In June of 2015 they added an ACH reject fee of $25.00 increasing the bill to $79.80 per month for miscellaneous fees and card fees: min. monthly fee, statement fee, EIN validation, inactivity fee terminal maintenance, debit access fee, ach reject fee). My bank notified by Monday, January *, 2015 that Merchant Industry was trying to withdraw of $209.79 from my account? For what? I also received a letter dated December **, 2015, from Transworld Systems, Inc. that First Data Merchant Services has placed my account with them for collection for $583.60. Why is Merchant World Wide, or Merchant Services Industry trying to withdraw money out of my account when they have turned it over for collection? And why is there such a price discrepancy between what they were trying to access from my bank and what they turned over to collection. I do not owe this company money. I paid them through 04/**/15. I haven't processed with them since January 2015. This company owes me money for excess charges and fees not disclosed or taken out prior to notice. I'm requesting they stop trying to access my bank account and remove me from any collection services or negative credit reports. I have contacted this company twice this week with no response. I faxed them another copy of my cancellation letter with came back with "no answer." I took a copy to my bank and they faxed them a copy 1/*/2015.Desired Settlement: I'm requesting a billing adjustment to show 0 balance owed from [redacted]. and to reverse any negative credit reporting. I payed this company through 04/**/2105 for I'm not paying fees assessed from the date forward for ACH reject and others fees when I provided written notice of cancellation. I believe the company owes me money for increased rates and fees when they stated in writing the rates would never increase. I'm also requesting they stop trying to access my bank account. They've already turned me over to collection per notice from Transworld Systems Inc[redacted]. I find this practice unethical. I have had no calls from Merchant Services to resolve this issue nor have they attempted to contact me since May 2015 when I cancelled services and issued a stop pay by my bank to keep them from accessing my account.

On 1/*/2016, I submitted, email memo and contract from MSW, and cancellation letter with fax confirmation. Today, I'm sending collection notice from Transworld Systems, Inc. who states my account was turned over to them from MSW (knows as First Data Merchant Services) for early termination fees? MSW is also trying to collect from me? My contract was month-to-month and the contract I submitted last week shows $0.00 early termination fee. September 2014 statement listing terminal maintenance fee of $6.95 not in contract, increased statement fee $7.95 ($7 in contract), October 2014 statement where they started adding $129.99 annual fee which my agent waived because it was not in contract and I was advised my fees would not increase. It also shows discrepancies in interchange rate/cost per transaction and subtotals. My contract also states no minimum monthly fee, which they began assessing. Again, I request my account MSW show zero balance owed for [redacted]. and show our account closed.

Review: I feel completely ripped off by this company. Beware S C A M. I was approached by the daughter of a lady that works near my business location. She introduced herself and asked me who I was using to do our debit/credit cards transactions. I told her I was using SQUARE. She told me that they were over charging me @2.75% and suggested that they (Merchant Industry) could save me a lot money by only charging me 1.5% and no monthly fees. I had been using SQUARE for over 2 years and never had and issue, but decided to give it a chance and help her out as she was my neighbor's daughter (BIG MISTAKE). I told her that I needed the machine to be wireless as I did not have the room to have dedicated to a machine I randomly used and had to be plugged all they long. She replied that it was OK, she could get me a wireless unit by the end of the week. One week went by, two weeks went by nothing happened. Three weeks in she shows off with a non wireless machine. When I suggested that was not what we had agreed on she said she was going to get the wireless machine. To make the story short. I never got the equipment to be able to process the cards. Next thing I see a charge of around $38 from this company. Next month another charge for around $38. I called and complained and requested my account to be cancelled. They made do a Cancellation letter in writing. To my surprise this month I got hit with a $495.00 charge. I call the company to find out that this is an "EARLY TERMINATION FEE" which nobody mentioned. This is a true S C A M.Desired Settlement: I would like to refund in the form of a CHECK in the amount of $570.98 and to be fully and completely untied to this company or any other related to MERCHANT INDUSTRY

Review: I have attempted on several occasions to close my processing account via phone calls in to the customer service dept and my account continues to revolve. I received a call today stating I owe $500 for termination fees when I have had this account much longer than the two years service agreement stated. They advised the automatically renewed my contract because I had not called in in time to cancel.Desired Settlement: I would like for my account to be closed with no early termination fee because I have switched processors and added a block in my bank account in order to prevent any further fees.

This account was closed on 2/**/2015 due to the merchant’s bank reject indicating stopped payments. We require all of our merchants to submit a cancellation letter requesting the closure of an account as we do not take verbal request over the phone to ensure validity. In regard to the charges, the terms of the agreement state that it is valid for three years and auto renews yearly unless we are notified. As we never received a cancellation letter and there was a continuation of processing, the account was auto renewed after the initial period of three years. An early termination fee is applicable even after the three year period. Merchant is now in collections for the early termination fee of $350 in addition to fees associated with [redacted] rejects and collections.
