Paid my car off early and getting the run around about my title and they havent reported the early payoff to the credit bureau

I recently had a payment deferredAfter sending in the required documentation, they refuse to honor the deferment
I called to have a payment deferred in November After receiving the document, I paid the deferment cost and sent in the required documents sent from Mid AtlanticThe following month I noticed the deferment was not processed but my debit card was charged for the defermentI called again on 12/1/to get everything taken care ofAt that time they refused the deferment because according to them, the deferment letter was not received in timeI then sent them additional emails showing where I sent it in to and their email addressesIt is not January and they still will not honor the deferment, resulting in a negative impact on my credit

I have read reviews and complaints regarding this company and quite frankly, I am mystified. I bought my car in 2012 for a buy here pay here lot and they sold my loan to Mid-Atlantic and was I relieved. Firstly, MAF reports to the credit agencies, secondly, I found myself in difficult situations from time to time and the representatives ALWAYS went above and beyond to help see me through. They were never threatening, but helpful and compassionate. I read a complaint that the customer still owed $800.00, but that he was not going to pay it, because the car was not running. How is this the fault of the finance company. The money is still owed. He also gleefully declared that he enjoyed cussing them out daily. WOW....REALLY? Sadly, my car is in desperate need of repair and I too owe approximately $800.00. I had to visit a dealership and purchase a new car, but the bank that provided my new car loan will pay my old loan off. I am sorry that I could not have stayed with Mid-Atlantic. The message being that if you find yourself in particular trying times, please treat your finance rep in the same manner that you expect from them. I guarantee that your customer service will go far. Thank you Mid-Atlantic. Highly recommended!!

I don't appreciate having to be on hold for 30 to 45minutes and a representive name Aundrea decided to answer.I tell her my problem with my account, she ask can she put me on hold!! Now mind you I been on hold for 30 to 45minutes already!! So another 10 minutes goes by, all of a sudden I get hung up on!! Seriously!! I already don't like the fact my dealership sold my contract to this company!! But their call center is absolutely horrible!! This company needs to train their representative professionally!! And another thing the payment system they have sucks completely!! In order to make your payments you have to have a checking account!! They don't take debit or credit card payments over the phone or online!! So they want to suck you out of more money by sending it through MONEY GRAM !! Which cost another $ 10 extra dollars on top of your car payment!! I don't recommend anyone going with this company!! If you sign a contract with your dealership make sure you read the fine print, because it state's that they can sell your contract, especially to this worst company ever!!!Just BE AWARE of what you are signing!! I know better now!!! Never Again!! This company SUCKS!!

This company SUCKS!!! they lost my money order back in October of 2015. I've called, faxed over receipt showing I made my payment I the office," in person " nothing has been done about it. But yet they call me constantly about a payment. There employees are HORRIBLE in collections department. I'm tired off dealing with these ppl. I'm getting my attorney involved....
They're making threats, I'm making promises. I dont have money to throw away easing with these is. And they think us as customers don't know what's right or wrong.
They've messed with the wrong lady. FED UP!!!

I undestand how many businesses operate when they need to have some cash. I have bought cars from a local dealer / friend here in Coos Bay, Oregon several times in the last 2 years. When he needed some working capitol, he sold my account to Mid-atlantic Finance Company. Luckily, I checked to confirm my balance and decided to pay the principal off immediately.
My concern stems from this companies lack of business commuinication. I received no acknowledgement of my bank drafted check. After 1 month, I called to learn what was going on. Finally I reached someone in the title department who told that yes, they had received the pay off balance and that my title should be coming soon. Another month later, I had to call again because I had not received anything. This time someone told me that it takes 60 day before they send out the title after paying off the principal. Someone should have at least let me know their policy.
