Mid Atlantic Water has failed to deliver a product I ordered, and despite numerous promises has failed to deliver a refund.
On Dec. 30, 2018 I ordered a Clack 2.5 Cubic Foot Neutralizer from Mid Atlantic Water for $545.00, with an estimated delivery time of 2-4 weeks. After approximately 8 weeks I got a phone message from them apologizing for the delay and promising that the product would arrive within a couple weeks. It did not. On 4/18/19 I e-mailed to ask when I could expect delivery, and got an immediate response "We will check on that for you and call you back." On 5/1/19 I received another e-mailed promising that "It will be delivered next week." It was not. Since that time I have contacted them by e-mail, by my count 8 times, to ask for a refund. They initially responded that they would refund it, but I have gotten no refund as of 11/29/19, nearly a year after I placed the order. They have stopped responding to my inquiries. I have never had such a frustrating experience with any company that refuses to provide the advertised product, or provide a refund when it obviously cannot deliver.

Product was delivered

Ordered a calcite filter and water softener. Over a month later still no product. I called and they said it takes a month to ship and it should be ready to ship any time. I asked for any sort of confirmation of this and they could not provide anything. I requested a refund and they said it would be processed the following day. When not refund was processed I called again and requested a refund. When no refund was processed I filed a claim with my credit card company.

The lead time was supposed to be 2-4 weeks. On 11 Feb 2019, I contacted the company via email checking on the status on my order. On 13 Feb, xompany emailed me telling me it would be delivered by *** freight the following week. Never received my order. Contacted them again via email on 15 March, inquiring about the status of my order. Received a reply the same daying telling me they would check on it on 16 March. No further reply from Mid Atlantic Water. On 19 March I emailed the company that .maybe I should just cancel my order. Still no response. On 4 Jul, I emailed the company again inquiring about the status of my order. No response. On 31 Aug, I emailed the company that I want to cancel my order and my payment refunded. On 4 Sep, I email company asking when I can expect my refund. On 6 Sep, I was told I could expect refund in a couple of days. On 24 Sep, I contacted them again because I still haven't received my refund. On 25 Sep, they tell me they are under new management but give no indication if my payment will be refunded. To resolve this I want my payment refunded in full.

Placed order in late May 2019 payment charged to my credit card. Still have not received the shipment as of Sept 2019.
Order for 2 50lb bags of Calcite placed May 26, 2019. Should have received in June. As of September 12, 2019 still no delivery. I have tried to contact via phone numerous times and left messages. In mid-June they texted that the order would be delivered next week and they would send tracking information. Never received a tracking code or the order. On July 4 I sent an email - no response. On August 18 I reached out again - received text that they will look into it. No futher response..Requesting that they credit me back ASAP. Filing complaint that they never processed my order in spite of charging payment to my credit card and were non-responsive to my inquiries.

Refund me back the $110 charged to my credit card.

Mid Atlantic Water assured me 5 times over email they would take care of the shipment, but after 6 months I still do not have the calcite. I can provide the email trail of 8 requests from me to Mid Atlantic Water and their 5 responses indicating they would resolve this matter.

Desired Outcome

I would prefer to receive the calcite immediately. If this is not possible, I want a refund to my credit card for the $90.

This response is completely unacceptable. It's similar to the short replies I've received to 8 inquiries over the past 6 months assuring me the business will address the issue -- with no further action actually taken by the business. I have zero confidence they will follow up with me. The only acceptable responses from the business would be 1) Your product shipped and here is a tracking link to confirm the shipment or 2) We've issued a check via tracked mail refunding your money and here is the tracking number

Mid Atlantic Water failed to deliver complete system that was paid for. What they delivered has manufacturer defects. They are not responding.
I purchased an acid neutralizer and water softening system (#*** Clack 2.5 Upflow Acid Neutralizer) from Mid Atlantic Water on September 3, 2018 for $1,295.00. I received the equipment about mid December after numerous emails. When I broke the pallet down, I realized that the water softener had not been included. I contacted them immediately, and they told me they would check into it.

It is now late August 2019, and I still have not received the water softener. I nave sent dozens of emails, always being assured that they would get back to me right away. They have not. I didn't want to install the system twice, so I waited for the water softener. After over 8 months of waiting, and 2 water leaks, I installed the neutralizer on the weekend of May 18, 2019, only to find that the acid neutralizer was leaking from a manufacturer installed part. I contacted Mid Atlantic Water and they told me it was unusual, and asked me for pictures. I sent the pictures within a few days, and they told me they would forward them to the manufacturer. I have emailed them dozens of times, and they use to apologize and promise to get right back to me, but they don't.

I have waited this long to lodge a complaint because I own a business, and I know how hurtful bad press can be to a company, but I am now closing in on a full year of waiting for Mid Atlantic Water to step up and make it good. I am tired of waiting, and they were paid almost a year ago.

Desired Outcome

I want Mid Atlantic Water to give me a full refund, and then send an RA, and a trucking Company to pick up the faulty product. The return shipping should be on them. I have spent countless hours trying to make this system work, and emailing this business trying to get resolution. I want them to refund my money first as I have zero faith in their follow through.

Placed an order for an acid neutralizer on 3/10/19, still have not received it.
On 3/10/19 I placed an order for a Clack 1.5 Cubic Foot acid neutralizer. My credit card was billed immediately. Was told that delivery would be in 2-4 weeks. Sent numerous e-mails since then asking for the status and only received generic replies such as "We had a back log of orders and are working to get them out as quick as possible. As soon as your order ships we will forward the freight information". It has now been 5 months and I still have not received anything.

Desired Outcome

At this point in time I want a full refund, any business that treats their customers like this does not deserve your money.

I ordered equipment, I was charged immediately, I was promised delivery within 4 weeks and that was almost 7 months ago.
I ordered equipment from midatlanticwater.net on 2/18/19, I was charged immediately and promised delivery within 2 to 4 weeks and would be E-mailed a tracking number when it shipped. After 2 months I contacted them to find out why my order had not yet been shipped. They apologized and assured me that they would get it shipped that week. After a few more weeks I tried to contact them again thru phone & E-mail. After several tries I finally got someone on the phone & after some excuses I was given the same promise. Over the next few months this was basically repeated several times. In June I got them on the phone again & after apologizing he asked if I wanted a refund. I said that I would rather have what I ordered but that if that was not going to happen, then of course I wanted my money back... He said that he would get my order taken care of right away & would give me a partial refund for my patience. On July 17th I E-mailed them detailing all the trouble they had put me thru & reminding them of all their promises & said that if they continued to just put me off that I would contact the Revdex.com. They responded " we will take care of it this month" I waited till August & E-mailed them again, they have not responded so unlike them I am following thru & filing this complaint. The order number is ***, the payment was $680.00 with my credit card. He did not state the amount of the "partial refund for my patience."

I want Mid Atlantic to do what they promised. I want the equipment I paid for as soon as possible & some portion of the purchase price refunded as they said. And I want something to prevent them from doing this same type of thing to others.

Mid Atlantic knows they can call or text me (they have both mine & my wife's cell phone number & both our E-mail & mailing address), but they have not yet made any effort to contact us in the time since I filed my complaint with the Revdex.com.

Paid for product but have not yet received
worked with the sales department to find the exact product needed for my specific application on May 7th 2019 order number ***. Order was for Clack 2.5 Cubic Foot Non-Backwashing Acid Neutralizer Calcite,Flomag,Vortech. Payment was made for the amount of $795.00 by debit card online from their official website. I received the order invoice directly after the purchase was made. I waited for 2 weeks as I assumed this was ample time to ship my order. I then sent an email on May 23rd, July 2nd, July 23rd, July 30th. I sent several texts to the number I got from their answering service from the phone number listed on their website asking for an update or shipping information along with several voicemails on their business phone. I received 1 call after the second email and 2 phone calls stating they are in the middle of merging with another company and sent my order to the shipping department. this was on July 1st when they said the order was sent to shipping department. I have received no other updates from them whether it be test, email, or voicemail.

I just want the product I paid for. I am not looking for my money back or to file a claim, I just want what I ordered

The most recent response proves my concern and original complaint. Everytime I have contacted them in regards to sending my order. I get the same answer everytime. Just send my order. Why is that so difficult.

Ordered equipment online on 04/17/19 and Mid Atlantic Water charged my credit card ($695.00) and never shipped the order.
On April 17, 2019 I purchased online, a Fleck *** 1.5 cubic foot Acid Neutralizer System from Mid Atlantic Water (order no. ***) for $695.00. They charged my Visa Credit Card on April 17, 2019 for the amount of $695.00. The online receipt stated that due to their high sales volume the order will ship in 2-4 weeks. I continued to email the company (***) about the ship date and would always receive delayed responses that they would check on my order. I tried calling their number *** and left a message. I did not receive any response. The only responses were by email. I continually would email Mid Atlantic Water about the delivery date of my order. The response would be the same that they "Would check on my order". I never received a confirmation ship date of my order. I would continue to email the support group about my order stating that they have already charged my credit card for $695.00 but have not shipped the order. I also stated my credit card should not have been charged until the order had shipped and they were using my money during this period of time. On June 12, 2019 I received a response from Mr., Owner, that he had health issues and he would refund my money. I did not receive the refund as promised. I continued to email the company about the refund and the support group would eventually respond "We will look into it". Finally on July 21, 2019 I email the support group that they have until July 26, 2019 to respond to my refund or I would contact the Revdex.com and my bank about their fraudulent business practice. To date I still have not received a response.

On August 20 he said his order department will ship it out. He will not because this guy is a con artist and you cannot believe anything he says. He will continue to steal peoples money if nothing is done.

MID ATLANTIC WATER is a scam company. Never use this company

My order was never received and I have waited since April 14th 2019.
Placed an order online on April 14th, order *** and have asked numerous times when it is coming. Two weeks ago I was told the company has merged with another one and my order will be coming last week. Never happened. Emailed them twice with no response. I just went through this site asking for delivery by 7-25-19 or I want a full refund.

Heard this many times

The water filter and water softener that I ordered on June 1 has never been delivered. It was supposed to be a 2 to 4 week delivery.
I ordered a water iron and water softener combo set on June 1 2019 from Mid Atlantic Water.The specifics of the order were: Invoice # ***, Item # *** Fleck *** Katolox Light combo system. When I first ordered Aidan (salesman) seemed very nice. He offered advice and was willing to help. I placed the order in good faith. I did not see anything about a 2 to 4 week shipping time until after I purchased and printed out the receipt. The total purchase price was $1895.00 and was placed on my debit card. I figured at the worst case scenario it would be 4 weeks. I have tried repeatedly to contact, by phone and email, Mid Atlantic Water with very little response. They never answer the phone. You just get a voicemail recording. They never really give any detailed response to emails except to say that they will pass along to the order department. As they have chosen to basically ignore me and I have grown increasingly frustrated and suspicious. I am believing now that this business is a scam to get money without delivering products on time. I wish I had checked them out at Revdex.com before I purchased the units. The reviews on their website must be all hand picked as they are all overwhelmingly positive. As I write this on July 20 2019 I am approaching a 7 week wait with no response from Mid Atlantic water and no equipment delivered. On July 11th I emailed them and asked for a full refund. I no longer wish to do business with a shady business like this. Their response to my email requesting a full refund was one word, "OK". No other details or response was given. I have not received any other emails, texts or calls despite the fact that they have all my contact information. As of this writing I have not received a refund nor a response. So at this point I feel taken advantage of and don't have the financial resources to start over with another company. I have already gotten plumbing permits to do this job and now I cannot proceed as planned. Very disappointed to say the least.

This response from Mid Atlantic Water is unacceptable as it provides no detail as to how this issue is intended to be resolved. How,when, will it be resolved? I specifically asked for a full refund. I need to get this money returned to me ASAP. Mid Atlantic Water has not tried to contact me nor have they made any apparent attempt to refund my money.

No I do not accept this response. Again there is very little detail as to what they are doing. I have been asking for a full refund for over a month with no action taken. Mid Atlantic has all the information that they need from me to issue a full refund. Saying the refund is coming this this month is vague. They are not responding to emails that I am sending them personally. I am not willing to agree to close this case until a full refund is issued to me.

Ordered an acid neutralizer tank in Nov of LAST YEAR.
Dec 5th the company wrote that it takes 2 - 4 weeks to ship. Then in Feb of 2019 they wrote that they were shipping that week. Then March 1st we were told that it was arriving at a "local terminal" and that we would be contacted to schedule delivery to our home. March 11th, we had a lot of orders to deliver and that they wanted to give us a $50 discount. April 5th they told them they had them coming in by freight and if it was not out to us by next Friday we would receive a full refund. May 1st we were again told they were sending the tank the next week and again. offered a $50 credit. May 15th we were told that they were shipping using another supplier and it would be delivered "next week by R&L Freight." When I wrote June 17th to either ship the tank or send a check today... I was told they had merged with another company and they had help to expedite orders to be shipped the next week. I then sent a copy of the numerous lies they had told us...and June 20th they said "We are doing our best to get any standing orders out". Then June 28th I was told "I'm working on it for you. I will make it worth the wait"

This company answers all emails with an Iphone. This company is nothing but a con man and he should be put in jail.

Refund all money by *** "***". I do not trust giving him my credit card number or getting a check from him.

They had texted me two days ago from ***. That is a cell iphone that all email messages come from and belonging to Aidan *** saying "Did you want a refund or the equipment. The company is under new management." I told him to refund to my *** account (***). Mr *** responded, "This is tech support. What is the order number. We will get that processed." I provided the details.

If a refund was actually sent it shows up immediately in the *** account as pending. So, this again is another stall tactic.

We ordered a water system in February which has never been delivered. We called multiple times to request a refund, and it has not been refunded.
On February 14, 2019, my husband and I placed an online order (Order number ***) for a Clack 2.5 Cubic Foot Upload Acid Neutralizer & Fleck *** 48,000 Grain Water Softener. Our credit card was immediately charged the $1,145. We gave the company a few weeks, as we were aware that it may take some time to ship, but we never received the items we had paid for. We called the company multiple times to obtain a shipping tracking number, and were continually told the item would ship "next week." After putting up with this response, we informed the company multiple times that we wanted a refund. This was done by leaving voicemails and speaking directly with the company. The company confirmed via text messages on 5/28/19 and 6/15/19, that we would receive a refund, but there has been no such refund. Last week we mailed a letter to the company again asking for our refund, as they are no longer returning our phone calls.

I do not accept this response, because as of this date, a refund HAS NOT been issued to my credit card. I have been monitoring my credit card, and even called to verify that the refund wasn't stuck in some sort of "pending" status. NO REFUND HAS BEEN RECEIVE ON MY CREDIT CARD.

Despite Mid Atlantic Water's response, I have not yet receive a refund. Credit card records can be provided to prove this. Maybe they have our order confused with one of the many other orders they took payment for and did not follow through on.

Please re-open this case, as this business is stealing from people and I am still awaiting my refund! Thank you!

Oder placed 5/24/19, seller gave a 2-4 week window for shipping. Contacted seller several times via e-mail and phone messages without any response.
Seller has yet to respond to any attempts to contact them to establish a shipping date or other options.
