I've been a contractor for over 40 years and it's rare to deal with an individual or company so passionate about their products, attention to detail, provide me with ALL information regarding my purchase, and his desire to satisfy a customer with follow up after the sale. I highly reccomend Mid Atlantic Water for your residential or commercial water needs.

Untruthful communication on multiple occasions, extremely long processing/shipping times, failure to follow through after making promises repeatedly.
We placed an order for an iron filtering system on June 26. Took our $1095.00 right away and said item should ship in 10-15 business days. Called after 15 days and they hadn't even processed our order, which we knew because they asked us what kind of tank we preferred. When ordering, there are no options regarding which we wanted. If there was a question, they should have contacted us. Still had our $1095.00. Promised my husband shipping and a tracking number by the end of the week. He asked them to verify twice that it would ship that week. The next week, we emailed them as we hadn't received any shipping info. 2 days later, we got an email that it was preparing to ship (which was the second lie). We called again. They had to check to see if it was in stock (obviously it was not preparing to ship). Said it was in stock and would ship soon. Several days later, another email. They called us and told a story about it being back ordered and them being busy. Also told us that we would receive a $50 credit because it had gone on sale since we paid for it. Still no shipping. Another phone call. Told us we would receive an additional $100 credit for the extremely long shipping time (they now had been holding our $1095.00 for well over a month) and that we would receive an email confirming this refund after 6pm that day. We never did receive the email or either credit. I emailed again. Finally got a tracking number. We received the item almost 2 months after the order was placed and money withdrew from our account. In the meantime, we had to have someone come and clean the water softener, which had become caked with iron. We also had to replace the hot water heater, as the iron in the water corroded the bottom and leaked orange sludge all through our furnace room. We installed the iron filter and ran it a few days take sure it was working properly. We then emailed to check on the $150 they promised. No response. I emailed again. They said they'd take care of it. Almost 10 days later, still no refund and no further communication. We have tried numerous times to communicate with Mid-Atlantic Water and work this out without having to make this complaint. We have spoken to them with courtesy and even told them that we understood that sometimes things take longer than anticipated to ship; but that we wished they would have been forthcoming about that rather than blatantly and repeatedly lying, changing stories, and making promises that they did not follow through on. We have exhausted the amount of time, energy, and patience we have in order to try to resolve this in a direct and civil manner. We are out of options. I believe that this company is dishonest and shady. We will never do business with them again. After we started having problems, I started reading reviews both here and elsewhere and discovered that this is not an isolated incident,and I believe it will continue to occur.

Desired Outcome

Refund of $150,which was promised by this company; preferably in the form of a check.

Ordered an acid neutralizer on 6/25/18, and have not received it as of 8/11/18, requested refund.
Order #*** on 6/25/18, Clack 1.5 Non Backwashing Acid Neutralizer Gravel Bed/Calcite, and Rusco Inline Sediment Filter. $470
I have exchanged multiple emails, and told it was shipping each week for 4 weeks,and was delayed due to backorder.
I have requested a cancelation, and refund request, but have not seen it as of 8/11/18.

A full refund.

Correction, refund was credited on 8/20/18.

Don't buy anything from this liar. He advertised getting your system in 8-10 days. It took 2 months and then the ordered was wrong. He refused to send the part of the order that wasn't sent. This not only happened to me it happened to two of my friends that ordered from him. When you call him he lies about the ordered being shipped. He is nothing but a web site with no inventory.

This person received his order which ships directly from the manufacturer of the product.
His neighbor purchased the same system and told us it was working great.

4/22/18 Ordered a water filter system $545.00 on line, Mid Atlantic Water, never received filter system. called and emailed, no response.
4/22/18 placed an on-line order to Mid Atlantic Water for filter system costing $545.00, received order confirmation stating 10-15 business days to ship. Have not yet received the filter system. Called twice and emailed once. I called again and the voice mail box is full so can't leave a message asking them to refund my $545.00.

Desired Outcome

I would like Mid Atlantic Water to refund the $545.00 for the water system I ordered on-line and have never received. I have not been able to contact anyone from this company as their voice mailbox is full so unable to leave message. I sent an email 5/15/22

The order was delivered to my home 6/1/18 - The sell Mid Atlantic Water did contact me stating order had been shipped.

Inconsistent customer service at it's finest. I shopped this company online, after researching many others, and found them to be initially very responsive to pre-sales questions. The unnamed rep replied from an iPhone at all hours, which I found somewhat comforting and somewhat disturbing. I would have expected a larger, more proper, customer service organization but who am I to judge. The nightmare started after I paid, of course... the items did not ship for 3-4 weeks after my order was placed. Constant ignoring of my emails or responses that would delay me another week. When the order finally did arrive two of the components were not as I specifically asked they be, which MidAtlantic agreed to. Upon my note to them further delays, ignoring, etc. It is now 2 months since my original order and I have yet to have the items needed for me to install the equipment which I have long since paid for. Supposedly, today, the day which I ask for a refund (only for the missing items) the order has been "processed" with the manufacturer and so I am to assume the items are shipping "any day" .... so I will again wait a day or two since I have no other recourse. If that does not actually happen, if I do not actually get tracking numbers, I will be disputing with my card company. These people sell nothing special, it's all name brand stuff that anyone else sells.. so buy elsewhere. It's not worth the hassle.

After speaking with the company and being told that it was in stock I ordered an upflow acid neutralizer system. (order number *** dated 1/13/2018) Only after placing my order did I get a receipt promising a 2-4 week delivery. After almost 3 weeks (on 1/29/18)I sent an email requesting shipping information and I got no response. A second email inquiry was sent on 1/31/18 and the company reply was that " I will look into it". No further reply ever came. The 4 weeks is over and as of today I have sent an email to cancel the order and I told them that if it is shipped I will not accept delivery. Am contacting my credit card company requesting a refund, as I have zero confidence that they will provide any refund on their own

Unacceptably long time to deliver. Now going on four weeks. MAW needs to declare terrible delivery boldly and up-front, not as a hidden postscript
MAW needs to declare a terrible delivery time of four weeks boldly and up-front, not as a hidden postscript. Most consumers expect 'reasonable' shipping of a few days and MAW hides this practice in fine print on the post-payment statement.

Desired Outcome

as a courtesy to future customers, use a bold red-flag statement declaring old-fashioned 'i'll get it there somehow at some point' shipping, rather than a modern logistics-based carrier. No tracking info, no 'ship' date, no 'delivery date'. I suspect this website is a front and MAW goes and buys stuff, has it delivered to itself, then sends it on. Who can wait a month for a package?????

Our automated order system informs customers of the delivery time by email and informs them their order can be expedited if needed.

Not received item when indicated by company. Only after repeated emails did they indicate I would receive the week of 10/9/2017.
purchased Sept 22 2017, neutralize tank and accessories. was told I wold receive tracking information. After several emails I receive email indicating I would receive items week of 10/9/2017. Emailed the end of that week, received email indicating I would receive the end of week 10/16/2017. At this point I have scheduled and re-scheduled my resources for installation. I still at this point have no tracking info. I send you this complaint since I do not believable I will now not get anything, ans will be ripped off further.

My filtration system is past the promised delivery date by 44+ days. Ordered and paid in full on 04/10/17 and have not yet received order 06/08/17
I have ordered two water filtration systems from Mid Atlantic Water. Both systems shipped excessively late. The current system that is on order is 44 days late past the ship date promised to me. Every time a shipment is missed Mid Atlantic does not contact me proactively. I have to email them because they do not pick up their phone. In each email I request that they call me yet they decide to email me back instead. In each response to me Mid Atlantic Water does not take ownership of the shipment and simply blames it on a supplier. They give a new date and then miss it again. They have had my money for along time. Consumers should think long and hard before relying on this company for your project.

Desired Outcome

I would like for Mid Atlantic Water to call me weekly while my product is excessively late to keep me informed on what they are doing to correct the situation. I just need the product delivered complete and in good condition. Mid Atlantic should offer me a credit for my troubles. If you offer a product and make promises you need to be able to support them.

Great experience, and Aidan was very helpful - had him on phone several times during install process and he was able to expertly troubleshoot. Highly recommend!
