Any decision you make that can affect your clients getting in touch with your business is important I have been looking for a service like Grasshopper's for a few years and was always hesitant to make the leapAfter reading what Grasshopper had to offer I had to pull the trigger It had everything I was looking for and then some
The interface is easy to use, the features meet or exceed my expectations, and the customer service is second to noneI had a small issue after porting my number (which wasn't Grasshopper's fault, it was my previous carrier) and the Grasshopper customer service rep eMailed me frequently and responded to my questions almost instantly
I also took advantage of their professional voice studio to improve the impression my business gives when someone calls into it
I would recommend this service to any small business that would like to improve the way they sounds when customers call in and would like additional flexibility to easily forward numbers to a land line, employees cell phones, or your cell phone while you're on the beach!

Similar to another complaint, after using Grasshopper's services for a couple months, I realized I needed additional services that they did not offer and switched to another company I began the porting process to get my four Grasshopper phone numbers over to the new provider On their website, they instruct users to contact them first to obtain the necessary information to port the numbers I called their support line and was told that a supervisor would send me the information I needed via email After a week with no email I called the support line again asking for assistance They responded that all of the information I needed was on my user profile page So I used the information on my profile page to submit the port requests for all four numbers I had identical information on all four port requests, but only one of the numbers successfully ported, the other three were rejected due to an "incorrect billing phone number"

I don't need to think about whether it works or not; calls get forwarded to my primary number Reliable service When I've had snaffu's which happen with all venders they've resolved quickly and responsibly Thank you Grasshopper

Fast and easy setup Email support within a few minutes or a phone call away with a live person in seconds Oh, and the phone calls sound just like using a land line

orlando from customer service told me I cant update my credit card on the phone then harassed me for minutes being sarcastic and abusing his power, seemed to take pleasure in telling me he couldnt help refused to give me a supervisor
then tells me he lied and I can actually update it on the phone then transfers me to jay I tell jay I want to talk to supervisor jay says one will contact me within minutes

We are a tax exempt organization and provided Grasshopper Group proper documentation of our tax exempt status in March Grasshopper Group charged us NY Local Tax in the amount of $on our September bill and when contacted refused to issue a refund per their company policy They stated that a credit would be issued on the next bill in October Unfortunately, we wished to cancel our subscription and am forced to decide to keep the service for another month for $in order to get the $credit or if we cancel now we loose the credit all together We feel that this should not be allowed since it was their billing department that erroneously charged us tax when our account was clearly tax exempt but now due to their no refund policy, we cannot recover the tax charged without paying for additional service that we do not need

Your customer service is terrible Forced me to cancel with youNO care in trying to fix my problem and seemed quite happy to cancel my toll free number I asked about customer retention and she said "oh we don't have that"

We have been with this company for 2-yearsWe contacted them on September 29th at approximately 1:48pm (EST) and asked if they could make a minimal change to our weekend messageThe message indicates our office is opened between 9-and we asked if the message could be changed to 9-6....very immaterial changeThe representative told me they can't make the change as a one-time favor and we would have to pay $to make this changeI asked if they could do us a one-time favor as a valuable customer who has never made a late payment...the representative said noI subsequently asked the representative if they would rather lose a customer and he said there was nothing he could doThat said, as the CEO for our company, I am now shopping around for a new company to manage our messaging/communication needsToo bad!!

Grasshopper provided very poor service and when I called to talk to a supervisor I was repeatedly told that the supervisor would not talk to meI asked five times for the supervisor to get on the line because I am the customer that is paying them for a serviceAfter no luck I received my case # (07823345), so hopefully someone at this company will listen to this recording and act accordinglyI have never received such blatant disregard for a customers concernsTotally unacceptable

I ordered a vanity phone number from this business in connection to our family business, Call IQ, which I am Vice President ofI carefully read the terms associated with ordering this number because I knew I would be transferring it to another service and cancelling my account with Grasshopper afterPer their policy, after I transferred the number away I called to cancel my serviceWhen I called, the representative told me to log into my account and submit my request in their system for the account to be deletedI did so on July 9, I have a ticket number from them acknowledging my request: ***I never heard back from the company but assumed that it was deleted based on the policy that I had readI logged in today, thinking of ordering another vanity for the same purpose as before, only to find that my service was still activeWhen I called the company, they told me that they sent a verification email on 7/19/to cancel the account, but I never received any such emai

Grasshopper makes iit virtually impossible to transfer (port) your phone number to another serviceThey have held up my number transfer for my business for over months by falsely claiming the account information is not entered accurately when it isI have written confirmation from them of the exact information and confirmation with screen shots from the carrier screens

Horrible service and trying to get your number ported out is next to impossibleThey keep denying the request to port out and claim the 'port department' can't be reached because they can't receive callsMeanwhile, they continue to charge for serviceDo not use Grasshopper!!

Being billed almost $a month for something I canceled months agoNow they have almost $of my money without my permissionThe company has a support page to hit cancel and email them from main emailI did and no response and continue to get billed

I've been using Grasshopper for the past few months and they have been really helpful when I need somethingThey have been very responsive to calls and questionsWhen it comes to fees and what they offer, I have never seen any hidden fees and they have always been clear about what each service entailsThe user-interface does take a little bit of time to get used to it, but after one afternoon of playing around with it, I'm comfortable using it nowThey are also very gracious in their trials, so I have had many opportunities to get to know the services I'm interested in using

Just worked with a customer service rep named *** My customers were not getting my recorded messages***patiently worked with me on-line to get my messages set up and in placeShe was a joy to work with and saved me from losing customers

Grasshopper has failed to deliver full service for which I am paying forI can't make outgoing callsI've submitted request to fix and they have not used any urgencyAfter expressing my concern, they stopped responding

I've signed up for the service about months ago, submitted my DEBIT card and was using it for about a month
The quality of the service is a garbage, but it's a different storyAfter a month of using I went to another service provider and signed up with them
The DEBIT card I put in grasshopper account was emptyI kept getting massages from the bank that they tried to charge the card with no success, since there was no moneyThe disabled the service for me, I was not going to use this card anymore anyway, didn't really have time to call them to cancel the service so I just forgot about it

A couple of days ago I'm getting a call from the bank saying there is a negative balance on my DEBIT card
I'm checking the grasshopper account and see that it became active
