Montway is great! I have used them times now and they have always been communicative and always on timeI will continue to use them for all of my auto transport needs!

This review covers two areas of the car transport process--Montway (which books the transport) and *** Auto Transport (which actually does the transport) Montway gets an A-; *** gets an A+ The only reason that Montway did not get an A+ was that when I first booked the transport I specifically asked whether I could ship things in the car I was told this was no problem as long as there was 100% visibility from all of the car windows and mirrorsWhen Montway called to confirm the pickup I was told that everything had to be in the trunk and could not weigh more than lbs They ultimately honored their first statement but it created unneeded stress and anxiety for us *** had NO problem with the items packed in our car because there was 100% visibility I definitely understand the concern that they have--loading and unloading the carrier is tricky and the driver needs complete visibility But, I was concerned we were getting a 'bait and switch' situation until they agreed to stand by their original comments*** was perfect from start to finish Charles was 100% professional and communicated regularly before the pick up and drop off It was an excellent experienceI will definitely use Montway again

Montway transport was totally professional from beginning to endwould recommend them without reservationI will use them exclusively

Hard to believe that someone in Colorado would buy a car from a someone in Kentucky but that's precisely what we didWith the internet the world has shrunk and with this new tool we were able to not only find the exact car we were looking for but at a fair priceThe next step was finding someone to transport the car and after much research we selected Montway Auto TransportI have nothing but the highest praise for this father and son team who not only got our car here safe and sound but did so in just daysThey are great people to work with and communicated with us before and during the trip so we knew exactly where they were and the timing of their arrivalThey get an A+ for the job they did and we would recommend them to anybody

The process for transporting my automobile from Vermont to Florida was seamlessMontway's system of communicating with the customer means everything to meThe representative reached out to me along the way to keep me in the loop regarding when pick up would occur, what I should expect, and when my car would arrive at its destination The driver was thorough in reviewing my car before loading it onto the truckHe was also courteous and gave me his cell number inviting me to call him along the way He also kept me in the loop regarding a target arrival date then called me shortly before his arrival timeThe car arrived as scheduled and in the same condition as it left I have used them twice now and would highly recommend this company for any one who cares for their car the way I do

Transported a car from Oklahoma City to ChicagoGreat communicationEmail updates were timely and support folks were available quickly to take down my information and pass on details for transportThe car getting picked up had a small fluid leak and they made sure the contracted transporter was aware of this and placed the car appropriately for transport to keep from damaging other vehiclesThere was a minor delay due to driver sickness, but communication was right onHappy with my experience! I also liked the online interface and ability to pay everything up frontMade a very easy transport

promisedThe reasoning behind estimated dates are factors which impact the entire transport industryBecause truck schedules are aggressively ever-changing, estimated dates keep prices affordableGuaranteed dates near doubles the cost of most transportsAnother major key reason is because no company in the transport industry can predict problems that may occur when driving across country such as traffic, accidents, weather, road blockages, delays with other deliveries, etc
Our estimated date policy is published on our website, customers are informed throughout the process, and it is listed in the customer's contract terms and conditionsIt is also listed in every communication sent thereafter regarding any updates to the pickup or delivery dates
We estimate assigning a carrier within to business days from the first available date the vehicle is ready for pickupThe first available date was April Although every effort was made to secure a trucker sooner, a trucker was secured and the vehicle was picked up on the 5th business day of May For a transport of 1,miles it takes approximately to daysThe vehicle was delivered May 9, within days
Truck prices are driven by trucker availability and pickup/delivery locations and routesMontway, nor any transport company can control such aspects of the marketplaceThe snowbird season is also upon us meaning there are more vehicles requiring transport than there are available truckers, thus increasing the competitive transport marketplaceAdditional trucker pay requests are relayed to customers to allow them the opportunity to evaluate the option when truckers are not willing to take the transport at the given priceThe customer was informed this is optional and at no time is a customer obligated to pay anything additionalPlease know that any additional trucker pay requests are just that, Montway does not collect that money, it all goes directly to the trucker to transport the customer's vehicle
After delivery, the customer provided feedback, to which we responded immediately apologizing for his inconveniences and explaining our estimated date policyAs a thank you for the feedback and as courtesy to compensate the customer for their inconveniences, a $gift certificate was issued

As I said on my brief description of this transaction, When I asked that my car be picked up on April 30, they said that it might have to be picked up then or a day earlier, and that it would then take or days to reach my homeAbsolutely no mention was made of one to five days of first available pick up dayWhen it was not picked up the first or second day that had been indicated, I called every dayI was then told pickup only had to be within business days, excluding weekendsAt the end of this time I was told the only way I could get a trucker at this point was to pay $not the $agreed onI had to have my car and the contents in it including medications, so I agreed to this inflated priceI received my car about weeks after the original pickup dateI have had my cars shipped for years at a lower price than the $but forgot to call until about weeks in advanceMy cars are always picked up on the agreed date and delivered 0r days later,
as agreed at the agreed priceThis company's account is not true, I have been greatly inconvenienced and am entitled at least to the agreed price*** *** ***

All phone calls were audited and at no point in time were guaranteed pickup or delivery dates offered or promised by our agentsThe customer relayed the dates he preferred to which we responded we would do our best to accommodateWe make our terms and conditions open to the public by posting them directly on our websiteIt is also detailed within the customer's booking confirmationPlease understand it is the customer's responsibility to be aware of the terms and conditions they agreed upon at booking
Again, additional trucker pay requests are relayed to customers to allow them the opportunity to evaluate the option when truckers are not willing to take the transport at the given priceThe customer was informed the additional trucker pay request was optional and at no time were they obligated to pay moreThe customer chose to approve the additional trucker payMontway did not collect these funds; it was paid directly to the trucker by the customer at delivery
We apologize for any inconveniences but we are not clear on the customer's reference to "My cars are always picked up on the agreed date and delivered or days later" as we have no record of any previous orders with this customer

Montway was recommended to me by a friend who owns car dealershipsHe said that they were the best for the money- so I took his advice and set up an appointmentEverything was surprisingly easy and communication between the driver was super seamlessI would suggest Montway for anyone who is shipping a nice car that doesn't want to worry about anything at all

Our vehicle was transported by Montway in February We had just moved for the military and a family member paid for our vehicle to be moved since we were already driving a UhaulThe vehicle arrived on February and upon arrival the vehicle was damagedThe car is an older vehicle and already had some minor dents and peeling paint but of course it's an older vehicle and they made note of that before the vehicle left to be transported to usThe actual damage done to the car was to the top of the hood near the front glass windshieldAs if it had been bouncing around and went a little far up and hit a barThe carrier even noted that he did the damage and is most likely happened from moving around too muchHe told us to file a claim, he made note of the damage he did, and leftThat was basically itWe've been currently dealing with Montway for monthsThey won't expedite anythingThey aren't being helpfulIt's ridiculousI've dealt with two different peopleKaren and Cathy, the managerCathy gave us the run around and told us to contact our insurance company to file a claimThey were trying to handle the claim alone without contacting the insurance companyI asked for a hire ups number since Cathy, the manager wasn't helpfulShe told me she is the highest next to the CEOI honestly doubt thatIn that case you wouldn't be working in a call centerRegardless, I would never recommend these people to anyoneBeware

We were very pleased with Montway's service and their representativesThey were very easy to work withWe shipped a car from the SF Bay Area to Fort Worth, TXThey had the best price of the eight companies we checked and the original price quoted online was what we paid, $They found a carrier service for us within three daysThe car carrier they used, ** *** of Fresno, CA was also very goodThe car was picked up late afternoon 12/2/and delivered morning of 12/6/
Total time between accepting their quote and delivery of the car, days (which included Thanksgiving week)

Professional from A-Z...Correspondence...Reaching Out To Customer...Scheduling...Price...Driver's Phone number...I can only say had I known then what I know now; I would have shipped both vehicles and flown to Dallas...Well Done Montway

They did a get job finding a driver leaving when we needed it The driver was great and drove the car to our home as we weren't able to meet him in the supermarket parking lot

agent was well versed and knew what I wanted, I would give that part a rating of out of 10, the driver was supposed to pick up car before noon, that did not happen, it was changed to between and 2, that did not happen, then it was changed to around 6, with a maybe, that did not happen, I cancelled the order, but they still charged my cc, now I am disputing their charge, on their site it say guaranteed refunds, but was told to read fine print, what a scam of an outfit, I would not recommend their service to my worst enemyBe careful if you decide to use them,Not a very reputable company to do business with
