Montway offers a in-house claims department who is available to assist our customers via email and phoneAlthough there are very few claim cases we want to be sure we're preparing our customers for the unexpectedWhen damage is reported each customer is assigned a personal claims agent to provide personalized assistance and accuracy
Keeping in mind that Montway is not the insurance company therefore we do not have the legal authority to approve or deny any claimsOur claims department is here to assist our customers we work with customers directly to quickly resolve each issueIn doing so we work on the customer's behalf to ensure the success of each damage claimDue to Montway being a larger carrier company, the largest in the midwest, we've had the chance to come across many difference insurance companies which allows us to work closely with our customers to prepare them for a successful insurance claimAgain Montway is not the insurance company our job is to simply advise each customer with the success of filing an official claimFor this customer, this was no exceptionA Montway claims agent was assigned to this case whom helped the customer gather documentation to submit to the insurance company to actually file an official insurance claim

Montway most certainly apologize for your experience and inconveniencesWe are doing everything we can to assist in this situation of unforeseen circumstances The trailer suffered a mechanical failure causing delay to the delivery of this vehicle as
well as other vehicles Status updates are being relayed as they are received from the trucker as well as the location of where the repairs for the trailer are taking place
We are transparent that all transport dates are estimated as occurrences such as these can not always be anticipated.
The carrier was fully vetted including passing a full safety check with the FMCSA and USDOT and due to this occurrence will undergo a service safety audit in order to be reinstated for future work with MontwayThe entire order will also be audited to ensure that all proper steps were taken internally with all agents as well
To further assist, Montway has negotiated a significant discount on the customer's behalf for their time and inconveniences associated.
The order is being constantly monitored for any updates to which will be immediately relayed to the customer Other carriers are being researched to possibly take over the transport from its current location
Again, we apologize for the inconveniences this has caused and will continue to focus on get the customer's vehicle delivered safely as soon as possible

Although my initial communication with Montway was disappointing, overall it was a pleasant experience shipping our car to our new homeInitially, I spoke with a representative who stated that they don't usually book car shipments more than a month out, but since we were speaking only a few days more than a month out, I could still make my reservationI hadn't received any emails or phone calls, so a few weeks later I called back and there was no reservation in the systemThis was frustrating, but the gentleman I spoke with mended the situation and made the reservation/orderI then received a confirmation email and phone call when the actual company who would be transporting our car was assignedThis company was prompt and had good communication during the moveMontway met our needs, but required some follow up on our part
I had two cars shipped cross countryBoth cars were picked up on time and delivered the next day without a scratch! I was very nervous about shipping my cars but Montway did a fantastic job
Horrible company, Loves to give you the run around and not take responsibilities for there fault! DO NOT USE THEM
Car was picked up by a somewhat sketchy driver Same driver delivered the car on time
Found Chain marks across the whole top of my car with two dents through the paint bending the metal Spent months fighting this company trying to get my damages covered (even when I paid EXTRA for insurance) incase this exact thing happened

DO NOT TRUST THEM WITH YOUR CAR!
I had my car shipped out to CA and Montway handled everything for me and the did a very good job They communicated every step of the way; from when the car was picked up at my home then out to CA and then when it was shipped back from CA
