Mover's Van Lines Doraville Ga Reviews (%countItem)

As I'm here, you can already tell I'm satisfied with the moving services Movers van lines provided me. Why shouldn't I be? They may be comparatively new in the business but their men have gone through serious training and some of them have been working for other top moving companies. They arrived right on schedule, their packing was a work of art and no glitches took place while loading my stuffs onto their vans. Even their vans are brand spanking new. So, chances of your things to get damaged on the way are slightly less. I think these guys will very soon become one of the top movers in America. I suggest you hire them now.

I am so thankful to Movers van lines. I hired them because a friend of mine wouldn't shut up about them. They quoted low and seemed friendly on the phone. The movers arrived on time. They packed up everything carefully and took great care of my furniture while loading them. The boxes were properly wrapped with tape. It really was great to see them taking such good care of my belongings. The delivery was made on time and everything went very smoothly. I will recommend them wholeheartedly.

My husband had to move on the shortest notice you can imagine. I was stuck with the responsibility of hiring a moving company and move all our belongings. I hired Movers van lines because I knew a guy who worked there and he highly recommended them. They were absolutely amazing. The quote they gave me was unbeatable and the men were all so well prepared. They were so efficient and always wrapping and loading with great care. My entire house was packed and loaded onto 3 vans in only 4 hours. When I received the delivery, everything was in fantastic condition. Thank god for companies like Movers van lines that makes the stresses of moving a little less daunting.

Thank You

I hate moving. It's stressful and with a bad moving company, it can be a headache. But surprisingly Movers van lines and its people are excellent!! Booking them was easy; they have a user friendly form with detailed and helpful prompts. They gave me the date and time I wanted with no problem (though I asked for a Monday morning so maybe it wasn't booked). They let you change your inventory until 5pm the night before the move. No up charge unless it is a significant change. The movers came exactly on time. I told them what I had and said that there were a few pieces of luggage that I didn't have on the inventory and was planning to take myself in the cab. But it was no problem and they put in the truck. It took almost no time to finish the job and they were so fast. I was so impressed. And their prices were amazing. Affordable and reasonable. Highly recommended!! They really made moving look like fun.

Thank you

I had to move within 24 hours and Movers van lines was the company I hired very hastily. But, on contrary to my fears, the movers turned out to be wonderful. The men were all very experienced and it showed in their work. They packed up all our belongings in just 2 hours. Not only were they fast, they were also very efficient. They took such great care of our furniture while loading them onto the van. Soon they were off to the road. They made the delivery right on time as well. All our things traveled quite well. I think I got really lucky that I hired Movers van lines. Most moving companies are just out for blood these days.

Movers van lines were superb in every sense of the word. We were moving from a rental to our first time buyers' apartment and the exact moving date only emerged with a few days' notice but they fitted us in. We were on a tight timetable due to the building we were leaving having limited timeframes. The movers are really fast at safely and securely packaging the larger items we had that we couldn't pack ourselves in advance and getting our crates into their truck and up the stairs of our walk up but throughout I was confident that our stuff was going to make it without breakages- they really do treat it with care as though it was theirs. They charged an hourly rate and I felt it was really good value for the service as they do their work very quickly but with great care. They got the whole thing done much faster than I'd have thought possible, but again with real care. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend or use them again.

I have had many friends relocate in the last few years and they all kept suggesting me the same company. Most of my friends were moving from one big city to another. I, however, live in a small town. I didn't know if Movers van lines was available in such a small city like mine but when I called them the man said that they give you countrywide services. They were very friendly and the quote was not too high. The movers arrived early on the moving day. They packed up everything very swiftly. Would you believe if I tell you that the movers were done in just 50 minutes? Essentially they were off before I could even offer them some coffee. The delivery was made in the evening. The movers unpacked everything and put the boxes in the right rooms. They truly won me over with their amazing skills and efficiency.

Thank you

WOW! What to say about these guys from Movers van lines - the price was right, and as my mom and I struggled to get all of our stuff together, the four movers were super-fast and had our things all packed up quicker than we had planned, with lots of room to spare. They're fast, efficient, great at what they do, are a lot of fun to talk to, and nice to look at as well. Thanks, boys! We'll definitely be calling you again next move we need!

This was my finest moving experience yet. It was easy picking these guys for the job- the quote was great, they were available for my moving day, and they were incredibly friendly. Movers van lines employees kept in contact with me prior to my move and day-of communication was tops. The moving team arrived on time with ample (and, ahem, good looking) muscle power. My move was done in a few hours and I moved quite a long distance, which was at least three hours' drive. The guys were fast, strong, professional, and smart. No damage to my stuff at all. My final bill was less than I was expecting so we had a pizza party to celebrate (hint: they apparently really dig pineapple pizza). I want to add that I have several pieces of very delicate and priceless (to me) antique furniture that I have inherited. I informed the movers of these pieces and witnessed them take particularly great care with them. I am pleased with how they handled my special items. USE THESE GUYS!

I talked to the manager at Movers van lines and he provided initial comprehensive information regarding pricing, estimate, insurance, boxing and transport. If you can get crews from this company you can be assured even antique furniture will be handled with great care - they wrapped everything and nothing was damaged, and we had A LOT of heavy furniture! We have moved interstate and locally and this company was better than other fancy and nationally known moving firms. The crew was polite and friendly and it made the whole process a little less stressful. I can recommend these guys unconditionally!

I was looking for a certified moving company. None of the companies was good enough to move my furniture in safe conditions. ***, my friend told me to hire Movers van lines. He found them extreme professional. I hired them and was really surprised at how polite they were on the phone. They were truly professional. All of my stuff was inventoried and I was provided documentation to verify before I went forward. They took care of everything including packing up my boxes and furniture, making all a breeze.

Movers van lines far exceeded my expectations of a moving company. They communicated well, they treated my belongings like their own, the process they have in place was top notch. I was comfortable enough with this company that I even left at one point during the packing session and couldn't be there on the receiving end, so I had a friend let them in to deliver. There was NO doubt in my mind that everything would be there, in great shape and accounted for. I hope I never have to do a long distance move ever again due to the other stresses that go with a move- but if I do find myself in that situation, I will 100% use this company again as that will be one less thing to worry about. These guys are just superb!

I have to admit that it is scary trying to find someone you trust to move your belongings across the country. Thank goodness for Movers van lines! We interviewed several moving companies and this company definitely stood out for us. They were extremely professional and their pricing was very fair. We chose full service so they came in and packed are place up in one day. It was amazing to watch. They knew how to wrap everything just right and made sure our delicate pieces were safe and sound for the trip. The foreman was amazing. He walked us through the move every step of the way. He was very straightforward and answered all of our questions. There were NO hidden fees. Once our truck began its journey we were updated every day regarding the location and estimated delivery date. They came exactly on the day and time as promised. They were fast, friendly and amazing at unpacking and setting up our furniture. I think one of the most amazing things was that not a single item even had a scratch on them (because it was all wrapped so well!). We are thrilled that we chose to work with these guys and would absolutely, without hesitation give them our highest recommendation!

Thank you

Booking them was very easy. Their billing system is very nice and got a good quote from them. The guys worked at prompt pace. Their workers were scheduled to arrive at 8am and they came at 8.10am. The crews took apart our large cabinet, a dressing and dining table, two large size beds. The guys completed everything very professionally and with dedication. They were similarly expert on delivery. No complaint was raised from my side. I am honestly recommending Movers van lines to all.

Thank you

I'm so glad I went with Movers van lines for our move this past weekend! First, they quoted the lowest prices compared to 8 other companies I checked with. Second, the set up process was simple and free of any deposits or possible cancellation fees which are nice considering my work schedule can bring sudden changes to my days off. And last, the crew of movers was very fast!! And they charge by the hour so it clearly shows this company is all about taking care of their customer before maximizing their dollars. They managed to deliver all our things without a single dent appearing on anything. You won't go wrong going with them. Thanks again to this underrated professional moving company.

DO NOT USE MOVERS VAN LINES!
This review is lengthy. (It was a 1-1/2 week-long, horrendous experience.) If you don't want to read through my entire recounting/review, here are several of important things you should know:
1. It doesn't matter how much Movers Van Lines says your balance due will be when they deliver to your new address, if you didn't move to a small single story dwelling, the DRIVER will charge you extra if you have an elevator (which should be a plus), stairs, or if they have to walk down a hallway. He (the DRIVER) determines how much he will charge you! And, of course they will not unload your belongings until you pay it. The Sales Office and Operations know this is a usual and customary tactic of the drivers, and they let it happen!
2. MOVERS VAN LINES DOES NOT DO SMALL (one-room) MOVES. They will have you believe their company is moving your items, but in reality, they contract your move out to random other companies. That means the sub-contracted mover is free to do what he wants, WHEN he wants to do it. They do not have to answer to anyone.
3. If you want an optimum moving experience, choose a nationally known professional moving company, instead of local companies. I believe it will be worth the extra expense to have an ethical company and trustworthy people moving your possessions. I sorely regret not doing so myself.
I did my research on different local moving companies (moving from Stone Mountain GA to Charleston SC). Most of these local movers have varying degrees of customer complaints, but I thought I was choosing the lesser of the evils. I was wrong.
I booked this move with Adam P, the smooth talking, so called Senior Relocation Specialist. Having had three separate conversations with him, Adam P gave me the following assurances/guarantees: 1. The cost of my move would not change because I have a very small move, and my items fall well under the limits for the price. Adam P's statement to me was that unless I "added something like a washer and dryer" or other "big furniture", "a few extra boxes won't make a difference." 2. Adam P assured me that because I was just moving to South Carolina, he was "90% sure" my things would be delivered the same day, "because they make short trips to South Carolina all the time." 3. Adam P also assured me that my move would be easy, and that he would make sure I received two garment boxes so that I could hang my clothes on hangers in the boxes, AND the movers would remove my clothes, hang them in my new closet for me, and return the empty boxes. So here is what really happened: no garment boxes arrived, I was charged an additional $436.69 for extras (3-piece luggage, 2 under-the-bed plastic bins, 2 boxes), my things were not going to be delivered same day, or even the next day. While the movers were at my house, I called and emailed Adam P, but he never responded. I ended up speaking with another salesperson named Susan. Susan tried to be helpful, but there was little she could do. Susan was clearly irritated (as was Danny, the head mover) because apparently, this is typical Adam P behavior. He makes statements and promises that he knows is not accurate. Adam P said whatever he needed to say to make a sale, and it didn't matter that he took advantage of me or caused the movers a delay because Danny and Susan had to explain to me what the *** was really happening.
This was a Friday February 8th. The next day, I called Movers Van Lines again to find out when my delivery would be made. I spoke with Susan again, and was informed that I would have to wait until Monday to find out from Operations when my things would be delivered. Because I was extremely unhappy with this move, Susan suggested that I email the manager. I emailed the manager and recounted the events of the previous day. I never heard a mumbling word from any manager at Movers Van Lines. But, guess who did respond in an email...Adam P...boasting of the pride he takes in his job, denying what he had told me, blaming the moving crew, and calling my complaint disrespectful.
On Sunday February 10th, I received a text message from a man named Eli, identifying himself as the driver. He said he would be making the delivery that day or on Monday morning. Eli continued to text me eventually calling me throughout the day on Sunday. He was trying to make small talk. And, he kept bringing of the fact that he might have to sleep in his truck overnight, which I found to be very odd. Then Eli got down to the business at hand. He wanted me to know that there would be a charge, in addition to the balance due, for having to use the elevators and stairs. I told Eli that I did not have any more money, and that he could leave my items on the street and I would get someone to do me a favor and bring them up on the elevator. Eli responded with, "No worries, we can work something out." Eli NEVER SHOWED UP. Eli called me saying that he couldn't get his 18-wheeler in the parking lot, and that I should come outside. I went outside, but no Eli. I called him back to see where he was. Eli cussed me out, said he was leaving, and hung up on me. Eli was never at my new address. He literally, held my belonging hostage for another few days. I would later find out that Eli was driving from state to state with my things in his truck. I called Movers Van Lines again. I spoke to another salesperson, ***. *** didn't know anything. And, while she was as nice as she could be, she was not helpful. I had to give HER Eli's phone number. Eli cussed *** out. *** told the operations manager (meanwhile I never got to speak to a manager). Eli was still a no-show. I spoke to Susan again. Susan called Eli. Eli cussed Susan out and hung up on her.
Now it's Thursday, February 14th, and I still don't have my belongings. And, it appears that absolutely no one at Movers Van Lines can help me. It wasn't until I called my attorney that things started to happen. My attorney spoke with *** and Susan over the course of two more days, and then was able to speak directly to Jeremy, the Operations Manager. Jeremy found out that Eli was in Maryland, so he dispatched a different truck to Maryland to meet up with Eli to take my things off the truck.
My attorney told me that the new driver, named Benjamin, would deliver my belongings on Sunday, February 17th, and that my new final balance due was to be discounted by $275.
Benjamin shows up on Sunday. BUT, before he unloads, Benjamin says, "You still need to pay me". I explained to him what the operations manager said. Benjamin replies, "You have to pay me for my diesel fuel, using the elevator or a combination of elevator and stairs, and walking 100 feet down your hall." (that he of course did not measure). I told Benjamin to call Jeremy, the Operations Manager. He would not. I called my attorney again, and he called the Manager, who seemed surprised at Benjamin's request. I told Benjamin to leave my things on the street and I will get someone to help me. Benjamin was outwardly disgusted with me, but he brought my belongings up in the elevator for me.
So, after it was all said and done (from 2/8 thru 2/17), I got my things back; which included a broken lamp, a filthy chair and ottoman and a plastic bin with twigs and grass in it.

I didn't know where to start with my move as it was my first ever. Luckily, Movers van lines eased the move for me quite a bit. They transported all my belongings safely to my new house quite a long distance away from my old place. They maintained the time schedule, worked very fast and didn't charge much. I was really impressed seeing how skilled and experienced the movers were. I have gained a whole new perspective on what hard work means. These men really know how to do their job properly and smile while doing it. I recommend them strongly.

Thank you so much

The movers from Movers van lines were professional from start to finish. There was also no issue with the other employees. They were able to accommodate my entire request of a full packing and delivery service. They made what would have been a stressful experience into a fun one. I am so grateful to them. The price was reasonable and all my belongings delivered safely. They are made for this business. Their movers were such nice guys and they handled each item with the exact amount of care and caution required. This is the best company for relocation in the entire United States. I will refer them to a friend who wants to move soon.

Thank god Movers van lines let me have things my way! Otherwise I would have never hired them. I didn't want them to put my furniture in storage units as that may increase the chance for damage. The manager was very attentively taking notes of my request. When the men arrived at my home, I was quite pleased to see how professional and well equipped they all were. They finished packing and loading everything so quickly. The delivery was prompt as well. There was no damage suffered by anything. Most moving companies would not be that flexible. So I suggest you hire these guys if you love what you own.

Mover's Van Lines Doraville Ga Response • Jan 07, 2019

Thank you

Horrible. This company is a hoax. Adam P who claimed himself as the manager of the sales team was actually a great salesman and promised me "white glove" service, and all my hung clothes would stay hung up and that they would care for all my stuff. And the biggest promise was that my stuff would arrive 2-3 days after they picked it up, and that moving to the city would be no problem for them.

So we will start with the pick up. Everything went well with the communication on when they would arrive and they even showed up early. But the movers were not friendly and didn't even bring the right tools to take my bed apart. I didn't get real involved with the packing as I was promised the "white glove" service and trusted they would do a good job. They finished fairly quickly and they were on their way. So now for the fun part, I asked the movers before they left when I would hear back and they told me since I lived so close to Atlanta they would be back that day and I would either hear back that night or the following morning with an update...WRONG. I didn't hear anything, I had to call 6 times all of which lead to nothing. I had spoken to at least 3 different people, 2 of which at least tried to help and 1 who was just completely rude (twice), wish I would have kept names. I even emailed Adam the sales guy who told me he would be in touch the whole time, didn't even have the respect to email me back.

So finally after 7 days after the pickup, they call at 9 PM and say that they will be there the next day. Great, finally. Well no. The driver was completely incompetent on how to drive a moving truck in the city. So finally after they figured out how to park, they started to unload and kept mentioning they didn't think they could get a few items in, without even trying first (turns out they got them in, but still stressful). So they get everything in, took around an hour and a half or so. So obviously I started looking at the larger items, dings and scratches all over my wooden items. Open the boxes and that "white glove service" absolute joke. They literally threw items in boxes together and just wrapped random items together in packing tape. They literally used some of my trash bags to wrap up items and just loosely throw them in large boxes with other random items. Several broken items, wish I could attach photos. Its a *** miracle my dishes were not destroyed the way they packed them together. All my clothes that were hung up and was told that they would bring special boxes to keep them hung up, haha yea just thrown and shoved down into a box. I am still rummaging through the boxes so I am sure there is more that will be broken, but as of right now I stand at 6 items that where broken and about 4 damaged larger items.

So I would never suggest this company to anyone. Not a single sole. They made the sale sound so good but delivered on none of the promises. I would give them a 0 star rating if I could. I will be posting several reviews on many sites just so people know how bad this business is and not to use them.
